“Visited recently, and I’m really glad I tried this place. If you enjoy Indian food, especially South Indian dishes, this spot is definitely worth visiting.
The biryani was the highlight for me — flavorful, great spice balance, and perfectly cooked. The dosas and idly were fresh and soft, and tasted just like something you’d get at a good local spot in India.
Overall, it’s a solid place for anyone looking for tasty, authentic Indian food without spending too much. I’ll definitely be going back!“

“1st time! Delicious food! We had the Vegetable Samosa and Tandoori Chicken Tikka for starters! Both were fabulous tasting, the Samosa had a nice spice to it, and the sizzling Tikka was just perfect! I had a Chicken Kadai and the wife had Chicken Badami Korma. Both delicious and even though I enjoy heat, these two dishes were mild and absolutely delicious. I was pleasantly surprised at the great flavors! I highly recommended! And the prices are very reasonable! Will be back!“

“Stopped by last Friday - just took a chance.
Pleasantly surprised how good the food was.
Had the vegetable tikka pizza - well made crust was perfect.
Also had the saag paneer and naan - both were very good and came with side of rice.
Their menu is bit confusing and hard to follow but glad we tried.
Very reasonably priced - try it out!“

“Highly recommend! Great food, especially for Swaminarayan vegetarians. We went on Christmas Day with a large group and they were very accommodating with quick service. The meal was delicious. We enjoyed the chhole bhatura, Rose lassi, Gujarati thaali, methi gota, spring rolls, veg hakka noodles, and Manchurian. We will definitely be returning!“

“For many of us longing for that traditional wedding feast served on a banana leaf, a visit to The Park Indian Restaurant is a must. The feast is served just like weddings back home with so many veg and non-veg dishes and most importantly with such warm hospitality that one feels like part of the family. It would be an injustice to pick a top dish because each one is a star in its category. Unlimited food at such an affordable price! We will be returning every time this fabulous feast is offered.“

“My husband and I were craving Indian so we decided to try this place. Firstly, picking up it was the nicest customer service. The man was so personal and friendly, it was like walking into a family restaurant. He gave me a tea, some yummy dessert and he didn’t even want to accept money for it.
Secondly, we devoured everything. It was all so delicious and it filled us all up. We got three things but the chicken tikka was amazing.
Overall, I would highly recommend ordering from here. You won’t be disappointed.“

“Thanjai Mess in New Jersey is a real gem if you’re into authentic South Indian food. The place keeps things simple — no fancy setup, just delicious, homestyle meals that taste straight out of Tamil Nadu. The food is fresh, flavorful, and super satisfying. The dosas are crisp and golden, the idlis are soft and fluffy, and the sambar hits that perfect tangy note. It feels like you’re eating in someone’s home kitchen rather than a restaurant.
Portions are generous and prices are really fair for the quality you get. The thali meals are a must-try — great variety, with enough spice and comfort to keep you coming back. Service is friendly and quick, and even when it’s busy, the staff handle everything with a smile. Parking is easy and the vibe stays casual, which makes it great for both quick lunch stops and weekend family meals. Thanjai Mess is easily one of my favorite spots for a true South Indian fix in NJ.“

“This restaurant Annaporni in manalpan was very good, samber, dosa, utthapam and vedas were excellent. I would go back again. Recommend this place for South Indian cuisine. Did not try their biryani’s but I am sure they are equally good.“

“My non vegetarian husband was on cloud 9 with all his favorite dishes he got for the banana leaf Thali (unlimited) over the weekend.
The servers were polite and helpful. The place looks a little dark. But big projector screen with South Indian Songs playing.
Also, I left my purse there and had to go back to pickup another day. These guys kept it safe and very helpful.“
