“I was having the hardest time finding somewhere with Eggs Benedict at 2pm. I told them I had little time and they got me seated and a waitress over to order immediately. Food came quick! The restaurant is clean and well kept. The staff were wonderful. The food was AWESOME. I’m not sure I’ve ever had a better eggs benedict . The servings are huge, I got a jersey boy with spinach and there was a ton of pork roll and spinach on it. Home fries were crispy. Adding this to the top of the breakfast spot list!“

“Excellent food quality, I tried the “New Bedford Scallop & Shrimp Risotto”, slightly hearty portion, very high quality on the palate and at the same time you can taste the flavors of the natural raw material without being “dirty” with seasonings or anything unnecessary. Cost in the American average of restaurants (the real ones), 35$ risotto. Exorbitant espresso cost, very long but not bad, $6“

“I love this place. They have some of the freshest distinct cocktail that I’ve seen that hasn’t been from a fancy spot or a speakeasy. They usually have a special and or some fresh fish. Backdoor pizza is also outback🤫. Only drawback is whenever me and my lady come in one female barkeep seems to purposely avoid greeting us or serving us. We sit at the bar and she’ll stay away like she playing defense for Manchester United and then when one of her co workers takes care of us she speak to any new patrons that come in and sit near us. Not sure what that could be but otherwise 5 ⭐️’s.“

“Everything about my daughter’s bridal shower was perfect! The venue looked beautiful, the food was delicious, and the staff was excellent- so nice and friendly. “Mt Laurel is not a hot bed for… anything… but Monterey Grill is THE silver lining in Mt Laurel. Chef Andrew and his kitchen staff have a group personality matches their menu to a “T”. It’s controlled chaos but the flavor profiles of every dish are enjoyable and it gives guests something different to enjoy every night. The waiting staff are all amazing; welcoming, fun, and professional. They know their menu like pros and they know their wine list equally as well. The regular bar tenders are GREAT and their smokey old fashions are next to none in the area.

Only feedback: Management could do a better job at livening up the atmosphere… there used to be live music all the time and now they only have live music on Fridays. There was recently a change in management, so I suspect that these unwanted changes came from ownership and the new upper management team to save money, but it’s been a big swing and an even bigger miss.

Locals have loved this spot for years. Hopefully ownership come to terms with their mistakes and decide to run it back because Monterey Grill was perfect the way it was for many years.

Don’t let it turn into a “chainy” feeling vibe like Harvest or Red Stone. People like restaurants that are boutique and different. Character is everything in the hospitality business and the staff at Monterey Grill already has that!

Management has a choice to make… hopefully they figure it out. I’ll always support this spot, if for nothing else because the staff deserves the support.“

“Yes, but make sure they get your order right, visited today for the first time in a while. My order (Stromboli) wasn’t correct but was acceptable…wife got a club, dry turkey and unevenly made. Manager took $4 off my Stromboli. Service was ok, we left disappointed in the food but not hungry…will be a while before we go back for another visit.“

“On a whim on a chilly mid-morning Sunday in January my neighbor and I stopped in here for brunch. I had the biscuits and gravy special with potatoes and eggs, the service was impeccable. Coffee was excellent, and the dessert (apple blossom with vanilla gelato) was absolutely amazing. I definitely will be returning with wine for dinner in the near future. Definitely a hidden local gem!“

“My first time at the yard house and I’ll be back! It seemed a little busy but a table for two was a quick 10-15 mins. Our waitress was very nice and had a good flow of service. She checked on us just enough and our drinks and food came out in good timing.
I had an old fashioned which was balanced well. We had the Brussels sprouts, shrimp app, and spicy beef noodles. Everything tasted great and we will definitely be back and I can’t wait to come for football season!“

“We were coming home from funplex park, when we stopped by pandora diner. The time was about 9:20. From the get go i can see that the restaurant is clean and smelled fresh. The staff were friendly and helpful. We waited to be seated not longer than 3minutes tops. Our waiter brought us drinks until we were ready to order. I order the salmon dinner, my husband had rib eye steak, our kids had lasagna and chicken tenders. The food was lovely, just enough season and salt to everything and if we wanted more salt or seasoning, it was available for us on the table. May I add…. Generous portions for each dish ordered! Lynn ( the manager) was so kind and lovable and made sure we were comfortable and served with respect. I’m telling you, she is a gem and has a heart of gold, God bless her. Her staff were very kind and our waiter was very quick yet careful. Occasionally asking us if we needed or wanted anything. He stayed close by so if we did, we can call out to him. The menu is big and complete with dessert made at the restaurant itself, which is awesome! After we finished dining we made our way to where the cake stands are and my kids loved their cupcakes and shortcakes they chose. I can’t recommend this diner enough it’s lovely. If I ever go by that area again, I'm definitely paying them a visit! Remember clean, delicious, family friendly, affordable and a kind atmosphere. “We had Rick as our manager on duty and Kristin as our waitress. I’m a disabled veteran who, because of my PTSD, does not go out for Veterans Day, but this was a special day, my wife and I’s anniversary. They made us/me feel safe and at home like we were family. I love Applebees to begin with but of all the Applebees this one is by far the BEST!!! We cannot be appreciative and thankful enough for the service we received. If every business treated every person, veteran or not, the way we were treated this world would be a better place. These two people went out of their way to make us feel at home and treat us better than we deserve. “We dined here for the first time today. We were surprised how big this restaurant was inside and were seated right away at 12pm. We ordered breakfast items which are served all day. The portions were huge and omelette was delicious! I like how you had option of home fried potatoes or hash brown potatoes and they give you a choice of pancakes, toast or a muffin as your side!! My daughter loved her French toast and it was fluffy and cooked perfectly and was not made with those yellow egg beaters like some diners. The service was fast and we were in and out in 45 minutes! “I went to the museum here — the New Jersey Air Victory Museum and then walked over to the cafe to get some food. It was pretty busy which surprised me as it was an extremely cold morning. I think it was about 11AM but I ordered a cheeseburger and fries anyway! Really good and nice portions. I also had a coffee. The service and food was great. Didn't see any planes take off or land but it was still fun and better than I expected. Next time I will try the cheesesteak.“
