The location is convenient, the service is genuinely friendly, and everything feels welcoming and well run. An added bonus is the small market on site, which makes it easy to grab take-home items and enjoy their food later. A great place for both a quick bite and stocking up on quality prepared foods.”

“We were in town last night for a sports tournament and stumbled upon the Firkin Tavern. With four kids and four adults, we weren’t sure what to expect, especially since the tavern was pretty busy with only one server. At first, we were a little concerned it might be overwhelming, but Mike, our waiter, quickly proved us wrong. He was absolutely amazing! Despite the crowd, he handled everything seamlessly and was extremely attentive. The food also exceeded our expectations, it wasn’t just typical bar food.. everything was delicious and really impressed us. If we’re ever in the area again for a tournament, we’ll definitely be back!”

The restaurant was clean and had air conditioning, which is something that many Mexican restaurants in the area lack. I've been to the Mexican restaurant just around the corner, and while the food is tasty, it suffers from poor ventilation and is often overcrowded and noisy. That's why we chose to try Patricia's Restaurant, and it turned out to be a fantastic choice for us. The food was excellent, and the atmosphere was calm. We could savor our meals and have a conversation without feeling like we were being drowned out by other tables. It's a small place, but truly a hidden gem. My family enjoyed it, and my son especially loved the cheese pupusas! We will definitely return! I did noticed that they do a lot of take out orders rather than dine-in. Which I actually like because we get VIP service lol.”

“This is a go-to spot for me and my friends, the food is delicious, and their Ajika Ramen is my favorite! The prices are reasonable for their mains, the desserts can be a bit pricy but other than that it’s a solid lunch/dinner choice for any ramen and soup lover! I’ve never had a bowl of their Ajika ramen that I didn’t finish in one sitting!

The waiters are respectful and friendly as well. The seating area is also very nice and quiet, and usually not too busy except some evenings on the weekends. The portions are very reasonable for the price and quality. Give this place a try if you haven’t already :)!”

I don't have much more experience with this spot but I liked that there are a couple tables outfront, they had the game on inside for entertainment and there is a post mailbox out front. Great excuse to go mail those holiday cards.”

“This is one of two breakfast spots where I enjoy the shrimp and grits. It's very delicious and filling! I get bacon to add to the grits because everything is better with bacon. The latte was also hot for almost my whole meal; everywhere else it's cold after five minutes. I'm not sure how they're doing that, but I hope they keep doing it! All the employees are polite as well. I come from another state to eat here because I love the food and the service is great.”

“Went here for the first time today and they were locking the door but we're kind enough to let us in. We tried jersey shore flavor and it tasted homemade. The ice cream was soft and creamy, not at all icy. The Carmel tasted home made and not out of a jar. They are open even though it looks closed when you drive buy. Clean and neat. Much better Ice cream than the one by Trenton market”

“The best pizza and pasta and hoagie joint in Ewing and probably better than anything within 50 miles. We absolutely love this place. Whether it’s a regular pie or one of the specialties or a Brooklyn it’s always great. The cheesesteaks are awesome and loaded with toppings. The subs are piled high. The fancy pasta dishes are better than you’ll get in most restaurants. They are good to their staff and great to their customers. This is a rare business and they deserve to be appreciated for it.”

“I frequent this Rita’s often. Today 6/15/22 I received my order total and I realized it was much more than usual. I asked was there a price change recently. I was told there was a $1 charge for sprinkles!!! This new pricing is not posted on their current menu. Patrons should not be charged for this until it’s visibly posted on the menu.”

The atmosphere is not much, I usually take the food to go. Service is ok. But I enjoy the food. It's comforting. And it gives real home cooked food vibes.”

“I’ve had two meals from Big Easy this week. Both meals were excellent. Food was fresh and very tasty! I had the Flounder platter and the Fried Oyster Dinner. Each meal was enough for at least two meal for me it was three. Come and taste for yourself!!”

“Stayed here with my family while visiting Sesame Place. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, the refrigerator is so helpful when traveling with kids. Lots of free parking and it's only 15 minutes from Sesame Place which was convenient. The tvs can stream Amazon and Netflix which was a huge plus with a very tired toddler who wanted to watch her shows. The pool was a nice temperature but the hot tub was a bit on the cooler side-I did have a two year old with me so any time spent in there relaxing wasn't going to happen anyway. They had a crib available which was great. The only issue we had was with the dining in the lobby. We went down to eat dinner and there was only one person working the bar AND the kitchen so the full time we waited to order until our last dish came was over 1.5 hours. The man who was doing it all was so nice and it was not his fault that he was left with no help and the food was good. But if you are traveling with kids and thought the restaurant in the hotel would be easy and convenient, you might want to have a backup plan before your hungry kids start to lose it. It would be great if they had some complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby since you cannot really get a coffee you pay for quickly and that little room coffee maker just doesn't cut it! There's also not a lot around unless you head back to the Sesame Place area (as far as I could tell). Other than that it was a good stay for us.”

The tortilla had that inviting, buttery aroma that hinted at a satisfying bite. It was cut into even triangular sections, with gooey cheese stretching between them, making it visually appetizing. On the side, T-Dubs includes the best salsa.”

“Nubia (manager) and her staff are lovely and the flavors/variety are impressive! It’s great to have a place like this on campus - a nice mix of faculty/staff and students use this for lunch. It’s a mix of buffet style with a formal dining room experience (wait staff for drinks and busking the tables). Nubia really makes you feel at home! Go check it out. All for about $10!”

“I haven’t been here in about 4 years and we would always get the chicken and pork skewers, at least 10 at a time (back then they were only about $2 a piece. Well coming in today, they are a whopping $5.49! Wow!! Although the food is very tasty, I don’t think I’ll be back. And don’t get me wrong, I understand this new economy and all but that’s way too expensive and the skewers are much smaller too!”

They easily could have grumbled about it, as it was a Friday and I am sure they wanted to clean up and go home, and they still could not have been friendlier or more accomodating. Will definitely return.”
