“The chicken is really good! The honey garlic sauce is perfectly sweet and garlicky and the plain chicken is seasoned very well. The skin has an aesthetic crunch and isn't soggy on the plain but the sauce does make the skin on the honey garlic chickens a bit soggy. I ordered a whole chicken and the chicken breasts were quite dry but the drums were perfect and juice was spilling out when I took a bite. I would give the place a 5 if it weren't for the dryness of the chicken and sogginess. Overall the chicken is extremely good compared to other chicken joints and I would still give this place a try.“

“We came here for the fried chicken, one of the best in the area. This time we tried the whole chicken instead of the wings, half in cheese snow and half in hot spicy. Personally I prefer hotter wings. We also tried the gimmalie, and it is like deep fried japchae rolled in seaweed, fantastic!“

“Best seasoned garlic wings in Montclair. Absolutely delicious. We had the seasoned secret sauce wings as well..and it was flavorful, fresh, and a nice crunch when you bite in. Best french fries! Their Aurora blue lemon was different and refreshing! Great service and friendly staff.

Parking: Sundays are better for parking. The entire strip is busy on Friday and Saturdays so it's best to park and walk to the location

The fried chicken is one of a rare breed of fried chicken that actually doesn't need any kind of condiments or dressing to make it taste good. It's great just as is. Their service is quite friendly and welcoming.“

Aside from my milkshake heartbreak, I have to give major props to the staff and management at the Garden State Plaza location. These people? They're running a well-oiled chicken empire. They’re fast, friendly, and honestly, too pleasant for people working in the middle of a crowded mall. I've seen them handle lunch rushes with the kind of efficiency that would make NASA jealous. And they do it all while still delivering their signature, 'My pleasure,' which somehow makes me feel like I’m at a five-star restaurant rather than a mall food court.

Bottom line: whether you're after perfectly crispy chicken, or service that’s basically a therapy session in a paper bag, this Chick-fil-A delivers every time. Now, if only they'd grant my one simple wish and make that peach milkshake a permanent resident on the menu. ?“

“I haven't had a bad experience per day but they did get slammed while I was there and ended up passing my order to someone else because they forgot I was there overall good hot food no complaints there and the ice cream isn't bad. Side note I enjoy the friendly chats the two men seem to have with patrons(I'm not from here but have been a few times always everyone smiling or laughing)“

I bought a 2 piece individual meal with a side of coleslaw. The girl behind the register was patient and accommodating after I asked for a leg instead of a wing.

The food was really great - the chicken was well seasoned while not being salty and I thought how rare it is to not crave a sauce for once.

I thought the coleslaw had a decent flavor and consistency but a bit too sweet for my liking.

If I am ever in town, I will definitely return.“

“So any time I've ever eaten in store it's been fine, maybe a bit long of a wait for fast food but that's whatever. The biggest problem is the drive-thru. 3/5 times I've ordered beforehand to pick up they told me they won't serve me through the drive thru and that I had to come in to pick up. All 3 times I had to wait an extra 10-15 min for an order I had placed at minimum 15 minutes before arriving there. It's not really fast food and I wouldn't use the app at this location“

“Love Popeyes, but the quality control here is lacking a little bit. Rarely do they have Spicy and if you want it, you'll wait 5-10 minutes

Some chicken is perfect, other pieces come out oily, like it's been cooked in old oil.

So sometimes it's great and other times , I drove away only to find out the chicken is way too oily and throw it out“

“I had placed an order online for drive thru pick up. The store manager or the district manager at the window had told me that it would be a slight wait time as there were no tenders left. I didn’t mind as I understood that things run out at times. I had waited about 10 minutes and the manager brought out the food to the car. They made up for the wait by throwing in some extra tenders. I wasn’t in a rush but I definitely appreciate the initiative and courtesy. This location has been great the previous times I stopped by and they are by far the best Popeyes in the area. “The taste was all good, but I was told that the order tracking wasn't ready, so I waited for a while and when I went into the store, it had been a while since it had been served. The food was almost cold, which was a bit disappointing. I think you can enjoy it more if you update it right away.“
