“This is a hidden gem in Hillsdale and has some of the best Thai food I've had! What really elevates each dish is the sauces - there's always incredible flavor depth and they really complement the other flavors on the plate. The fish tacos have a cashew nut sauce that balances the mango, the red snapper has a creamy coconut sauce and spicy sauce that are great together while the fish (tempura fried), cashews, and garlic chips give you crunch and texture. Plus, the inside area is beautiful and the servers and chefs are very nice :)“

“My husband and I first heard about this place from King Schratz and I’m so glad we did!

Yes, like others have mentioned, it is a bit pricey, but it's absolutely worth it. The food is consistently delicious and you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. My husband loves their tacos and burrito, and I’m a big fan of their elotes, tacos and taco bowls. Even my 79-year-old mother, who normally isn’t a fan of Mexican food, loves theirs. That alone says a lot!

Their tres leches is also incredible. I’ve sampled a lot of tres leches cakes in my life and theirs easily jumped to the top of my list.

Beyond the food, the customer service is just as impressive. Two of the owners, Jay and Kike, are always so friendly, accommodating, and helpful. They even offer delivery, and their driver, Juan, is just as awesome! In this day and age, it’s rare to find a Mexican spot that’s both authentic and Latino-owned... and Just Tacos is exactly that. We’re more than happy to keep supporting them!“

“I ordered it for delivery using Uber Eats, and it’s genuinely some of the best tacos I’ve had in a long time. I would suggest getting the “Birria Tacos (Tacos de Res)”. My boyfriend and I tried that one and the steak tacos but the Birria taco is WAYYYYYY better- the steak tacos weren’t really our thing. But yeah super good!“

“Tried Carlitos for the first time and my expectations were blown away. The food was amazing and extremely affordable! My bf and I got a little bit of everything to try. We ordered the 3 quesotacos special with chicken, fish, and brisket. All 3 were filled with so much flavor. Additionally we tried their chocolate churros and passionfruit aqua fresca which were also delicious. The service was cooked to order and very fast. “I can't say enough great things about Defiant! Last week we hosted a small wedding reception and it was perfect. We were able to do anything we wanted with the space we had (we didn't rent the entire place, just a few tables). The food was great, as usual! The beers and other drinks were great and the price was so reasonable! We were able to use all the games at the brewery, and we were even able to play Terminator 2 on the projector which was a major bonus. The staff was truly wonderful which made everything even better. The owner, the cook, and the bartender were all so friendly and helpful. I couldn't have asked for a better place to have a casual, and intimate wedding. Thank you guys SO much!“

I recently got obsessed with Poké bowls out of nowhere and was looking for a place in New Jersey that did them and I found this one Rutherford. The owner is super nice and hands-on and is always trying to make that atmosphere feel super welcoming. They also have some really cool snack snacks and drink drinks here other than the Poké bowls definitely would recommend.“
