“***4 1/2 stars**I'm not sure how crazy I am about this place being a few blocks from where I live, but I suppose that's not Mo & Jay's fault. I've been aware of this bakery/pastry establishment for a few years (I think it showed up in this relatively new apartment building on Main Street two or three years ago), but hadn't actually thought to go inside until yesterday morning. I was entrusted with obtaining a dessert for a weekend BBQ, and it occurred to me that this was at least the easiest spot to quickly grab something. The fact that the desserts were extremely good ended up being a pleasant accident/bonus.I brought one of my top tier chums to assist with the purchase. From very brief research, it seemed like the eclairs were the big selling point here. I thought it would also be a little wily on my part to get them because I tend to not enjoy eating food that has stuff in it, and figured I'd be unlikely to do anything too naughty with that. That turned out not to be accurate, but I digress. We got the five for $25 éclair deal, and procured a raspberry, a lemon meringue, a nutella, a pistachio and a cookies & cream. Just as we were about to wrap up, I also impulsively grabbed a cheddar/bacon scone, which was humongous and understandably caught my eye.The eclairs were definitely a hit. My personal favorite was the cookies & cream. The flavor was incredibly on point, and it was almost like a meta ice cream experience. The only issue with that one specifically was that the cream inside was runnier than the other pastries, which made it a little messy. Not a huge deal. The runner-up was probably the raspberry for me. Again, extremely flavorful, almost to a fault - it was overwhelmingly tart, which is obviously kind of a calling card for raspberries but if you're not into that, I'd stay away. The nutella was actually a little on the bland side for me but not bad. The lemon meringue was a big hit for everyone else, but I'm not a huge fan of that flavor to begin with - I don't think that's a mark against this place by any means. In hindsight, we probably wouldn't have gotten the pistachio, but none of us are hardcore pistachio fans. The cream consistency and dough for all of these was very high quality, and understandably a lot of this is going to come down to how you feel about specific flavors.In a final twist later on, I sampled the scone around dinner time and was very pleasantly surprised - the scone was very moist and tasty, and was reminiscent of a Red Lobster cheddar bay biscuit, though probably at least twice the size and with actual pieces of bacon in it. Very strong recommend on that front.The service was very good. We had a pleasant female cashier assisting us as my chum was literally squatting on the ground eagerly peering into the display case squealing out flavors to get. Zero issues there, and we were in and out within a few minutes uneventfully. There were also a lot of cakes and other types of pastries, so I expect I'll be returning shortly to obtain their assistance with another BBQ.“
“In 2023 we had our daughter design our wedding cake. We went to many places and some couldn’t design it the way that it was in the sketchbook. They wanted to take off a tier or change the flowers for fake flowers. When we came to Creations we not only found the perfect flavors but they said they could make it the way it was sketched out. They asked for the colors I wanted and the type of wedding to get a sense of what we wanted. Let me tell you, we wren’t disappointed. It was as if the cake came to life. Cake arrived on time and intact. Thank you Creations for being so reliably amazing.“
“The best gelato in NJ hands down. I'm from Europe and always have a hard time finding authentic gelato, well this is it! I drive from NY to Gio's for the affogato with nocciola gelato, and my girls love the strawberry one. Delicious, local, and the owner/staff are wonderful people.“

“I ordered 2 dozen cupcakes from Three Daughters Baking Company for our daughter’s Baby Shower on Feb. 25, 2024. They did a wonderful job accommodating my request. The cupcakes were delicious and not too sweet. I had sent them a Pinterest photo of how I wanted them to “swirl” the icing so it would look like a flower on top and use several colors of icing because I was going to arrange them in a “cupcake bouquet.” I was very pleased with how the cupcakes tasted and also how they looked.Photos attached show the cupcakes by Three Daughters Baking. (The flower stems and ribbon were provided by the customer. )Their service, their food and everything was excellent! I highly recommend Three Daughters Baking Company!“

“I stumbled upon Keeping You Sweet while at the Willowbrook Mall, and naturally, I had to get some gluten-free goodies. The kiosk is in a central location and easily accessible. I was able to place a small order and the person working at the counter was helpful with making recommendations. I was delightfully surprised by the apple cupcake I got, it was so sweet, balanced, and light. They were sold out of gf lemon options when I went, which only means I'll need to return and try again!“
“I have been buying cakes and bread since 1999 for this bakery! I had a very bad experience on Saturday, March 30, 2024. We ordered my daughter‘s birthday cake 12 days ahead of time, when I went to pick it up the rude manager said I have to wait on that line.. I advised it was already paid in full, and it was not fair to me to wait half an hour online, but she didn’t care. I did advise the manager that I had to go to a venue ,and I didn’t want to be late, but she really didn’t care .I really think that they need to revamp this policy immediately,and make sure that when you order a cake or whatever you can go on a special line, not have to wait 30 minutes or something you already paid for. I understand The holiday policy, but my order was a birthday order. It had nothing to do with Easter ,and it was for the Saturday before. When it was ordered the girls did not tell me I’d also have to wait on Saturday to pick it up. They really need to have a better policy. My advice is the corner area to the right of the store would be for picking up prepaid orders only.“

“Located off a busy 46 East in Fairfield, this family-owned and operated establishment is one of our favorites for sweet desserts and Italian pastries. Upon arrival at Calandra’s, the recently remodeled bakery was busy, which is a good thing, and moved fast on Easter Sunday. Parking was not a problem. My partner and I decided on an 8” raspberry square cake. The cake was not only visually stunning, but it was also incredibly delicious. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the moist layers melted in our mouths. We can recommend this place.“
