“Delicious Dominican food. Hot food ready to pick from behind a covered food warmer. Fast service. In and out within a few minutes. It's not the nicest place, but the food is always delicious and reasonably priced. Great lunch with leftover for $10 - $12. Staff is very friendly but many times difficult to communicate with because much of the staff only speak Spanish. Still, just point to what you want, and you'll get it. Highly recommend for lunch takeout other than all the fadt food places nearby or for a quick stop after work to pick up dinner. They do close early, though.“

“I can't give a full review because it was my 1st time visiting the establishment. I can give a review of what I ordered & of the person that served me. Everything looked & smelled good. The person who served me was kind & friendly. I had the picadillo with white rice, sweet plantains, a fried yuca fritter, & a side of beans. It all was very tasty, with the exception of the fritter. My only qualm was the pricing for what I ordered. It came to $29, including 2 bags of cheese doodles.Would I go back... Yes. Everything looked vibrant & fresh... I wanted to try EVERYTHING.“

“My father had the chefs special which was this huge plated fish with a lobster tail and mangu and I had a lobster mofongo. 10/10!! Food came out quick right after appetizers and our server was great. For such a small restaurant, the atmosphere is nothing but pleasant. “As a Dominican, I wholeheartedly approve this place - 100%! When I first visited, all I could think of was, 'Oh God, I hope this place never closes!' It's become my go-to spot for Saturday breakfast, and for good reason. The food is delicious, beautifully presented, and authentic. The mangú is a perfect representation of plátano power, and the ceviche is simply divine! “This is a small business that makes you feel at home even from different ethnicity. We are a fmaily of 7 and accomodated us very well. My kids are extremely picky and 3 of them chose the chicken tacos and loved them! One had the quesadilla and he is the most picky he ate some and took the rest for the next day. I am very picky with Mexican authentic food but this surpass all the restaurants I have been to in PA (I live in PA)! Al Azar plate was awesome and my baby is not one to eat much and she was eating the rice. My husband had the Caldo beef. We had ceviche as a appetizer as well as some Maduros and they were quite tasty. I really enjoyed my main entree which was a Mofongo saltado which adds a nice Dominican fusion/flair to it. For dessert I went with the flan and espresso and I feel like you can't go wrong with that choice. My friends had the tres leches and they mentioned it was super tasty too. Served piping hot and fresh, the pork wasn't hard but had great flavor and chew. The sauteed red onions were a nice touch on top of a bed of fluffy white rice and iconic black beans. “My first impression of this restaurant was how great and top tier it looked. It feels very welcoming and vibrant. A atmosphere that gives cozy yet exciting vibes. “We are from out of town and we were looking for a family oriented restaurant that had good home cooking. The food was delicious, I had a whole snapper with white rice and tostones (green fried plantains) and my husband had white rice, black beans, salad and steak smothered in onions. Everything was Delicious and I even took my leftovers to the hotel for later. I can't say enough about the treatment we got from Denis the owner and his wife. He came to our table and we talked and even exchanged phone numbers. I would recommend anyone looking for a homey place with excellent food and staff to go and enjoy your meal there. “Aside from the place looking rundown the food was amazing my bf and his mom order a chicken and beef empanada and it was fresh and said was good I however ordered there empanada Supreme which they make on the spot and I did my vegan style no meat and was one of the best empanadas I ever had. “My family and I love coming here on sundays! The food is very delicious, it has a mixture or all types of Latin American dishes. My favorite is the Mofongo de pollo. It comes in a creamy mushroom sauce (I included the picture of what was barely remaining). But we also love to get the Jalea which is not in their updated menu. I did call to ask about that specifically because we ordered take out. Had a bit of a problem with my order but they were able to help me and fixed my order.“

The chicken is moist and has a ton of flavor. The pernil was moderate. I personally found it a bit tough but the chicharron was out of this world. “Went here for breakfast and we are coming from 35 minutes away just to try their Puerto Rican breakfast and this place did not disappoint what so ever. The food came out fast and hot.
