“OMG... Thank goodness a true Diner has arrived! Moved to Morgan's Bluff 4 yrs ago and I was so disappointed with the Ocean diner. If you can't make a good breakfast or a decent hamburger, you're useless to me as a diner! Guiseppe and son Sergio have already made a name for themselves by serving awesome tasting food in abundance, great service in an immaculate and friendly environment. “Delicious food and authentic NJ diner experience at Seaport Diner!! I got the Reuben sandwich with fries, it was huge and had amazing flavor - the corned beef was tender, the cheese melty, rye bread was toasty, and the sauerkraut with Russian dressing made it perfect. Plus it was open face, a really unique touch, served with crunchy pickles, sauerkraut and yummy fries. A feast for sure! My family for sunny side eggs (perfectly cooked) with crispy bacon and pancakes. They were super happy, said it was delicious. The location is perfect for a meal near Newark airport. The service was great, food was served nice and hot, place was clean. And you get that cool New Jersey diner vibe with leather booths and cool bar seating. I definitely recommend Seaport Diner - we will be back!!“

“I visited Henry's Diner on Tuesday March 25th, at around 12:30 and it did not disappoint! Parking was somewhat limited, and upon approaching the diner, I noticed a line that had formed. It took me about 20 minutes of waiting before I could sit down. The interior was well maintained and clean with a welcoming atmosphere, because as soon as I sat down, I was greeted by my server in a very nice manner! I ordered the breakfast burger and a side of chicken fingers that came along with fries. All of these dishes were incredible! The burger was juicy and not dry, the egg had a nice yolk, with very tasty bacon, and the fries were very crispy and seasoned well, as well as the chicken tenders being breaded beautifully and having a nice crunch. The diner accepts Rutgers student meal swipes, which is very convenient for any Rutgers students who want to dine here! The menu also caters to various dietary preferences, offering vegetarian options like the melted brie and cranberry sandwich on whole grain bread. The total came out to around $24 for my meal, and considering the amount of food I got for the price, I'd say I'm willing to come back! Overall, Henry's Diner provided a delightful dining experience with its nostalgic yet modern ambiance, attentive service, and diverse menu. It's a spot I'd recommend come back to in a pinch!“

“We needed a place to get together after a game with a lot of people. The Colonial didn’t hesitate when I said 20 people. We came and they sat us in the back so we could all be together. Phil and Pedro were an amazing team. They organized our checks by family and all of our food came out hot, fast and delicious. So very thankful for this option in the area!“

“We arrived around 5:00 PM on a Thursday. We were the only customers so there was parking on the street and plenty of parking in the back lot. Looking from the outside, this diner has a very nostalgic feel to it.The cook greeted us when we walked in and took our orders immediately. We each ordered the lunch special that consisted of 2 Texas weiners (with everything on it), fries, and a can of soda at a decent price of $12. The food was ready in about 5 minutes and the texas weiners were great! “picked up a toogoodtogo order. price of the items were originally$18 , discounted to $6. items were a pork roll, egg and cheese sandwich, a bag of chips and a soda. if that is regularly $18, then their food is WAY over priced. I'm also about 20-25 minutes away. definitely wasn't worth my time or the distance traveled. I will not be reordering the discounted food. and if that is their regular price, then they are way overpriced so I will not go for regularly priced food.“

“An institution — one of the last true 24hr diners in NJ post-covid. Large extensive menu all made incredibly well. Staff has been part of the central Jersey family for decades now and I love saying hi to familiar faces across their multiple diners.

Burgers and breakfast are by far the stars on their menu. Can never go wrong ordering anything from there no matter what time of the day you stumble in. Also, get their vodka disco fries!“

A tip of the hat for Skylark's policy of discounting the bill by 3% if you pay in cash. Why don't all retail establishments offer this? It ought to be the law. Restaurants and stores that charge the same for payment in cash or credit card make more money if you pay with the former, as they don't have to fork over a cut to the banks issuing the latter.“
