“I usually visit Dave’s Hot Chicken at 7th Ave Brooklyn.
This time we went so late that it was just 40 minutes left in closing and they had put all the tables and chairs away (means the dine in was closed already) but the girl at the counter was so nice that she not only allowed us to take the chairs and sit but also suggested us to rate them on app to get a free drink (everyone loves free stuff..right??)
The food and atmosphere is always always so good. We love to go there at least twice a month (as far from our place). Highly recommended especially if you are looking for some good halal food.“

“Reservations weren’t easy to snag, but the food was absolutely worth it, and surprisingly affordable. I ordered the Bucket List and tried one of each of the caviar nuggets, and everything was amazing. Perfect spot for a night out. Service was a 10/10. The staff at the front acknowledged us right away and had us seated quickly. Nothing felt rushed, and the servers were consistently attentive throughout the meal.“

“Cauldron Chicken is a small, tucked-away spot in Greenwich Village with flavor that rivals anywhere in the city. Don’t be fooled by the tiny venue—the food carries a rich history and a punch of spice you won’t forget.
Legend has it that Dao Kou roasted chicken dates back to the 18th century, during the reign of Emperor Shunzhi in the Qing Dynasty, giving this dish a history of over 300 years. That tradition is alive and well here. The chicken literally falls off the bone, tender and perfectly cooked. The spices are out of this world—deep, aromatic, and layered in a way that makes every bite addictive.
It was so good, I even asked for extra spice mix to take home. If you’re a fan of bold flavors and food with a story behind it, Cauldron Chicken is a must-try. Tiny place, big history, unforgettable taste.“

“I’m visiting NJ (lived here for a long time) and wanted to eat some of my favorite foods. I ordered dinner from port of peri peri and it was perfectly cooked but missing my fries. I let that be known to the restaurant and received a small refund. Next night, I ordered dinner again and I received a large order of fries on the house as well as a discount card for 5% for dine in orders valid for one more week. Amazing customer service. If I were in NJ longer, I would surely order again! The food is absolutely delicious 😋“

“Really enjoyed the food from Bloom Chicken.
The small boneless chicken was honestly huge and the chicken was super crispy. The spicy rice cakes were way better than I expected — especially since I don’t usually like rice cakes.
The only thing keeping this from a 5-star review is that it came with no radish, no dipping sauce, nothing on the side.
For $14 for a small order, I’d expect at least some radish, I’d also give up a few pieces of chicken for radish.
Also, it’s definitely more of a take-out spot — the covered patio is nice but not heated, therefore I ate my food in the car since it was cold.
Overall though, really solid food and an easy 4-star meal.“

“So I was looking forward to try real korean fried chicken in a while , my previous experiences weren’t great ( and then I came across this little hidden gem in the middle of nowhere!
The place itself is nothing fine dining or fancy , simple , clean and to the point but the fried chicken was yum ! The owner was very nice and we ordered dubboki and a whole fried chicken with a choice of sauces , I definitely would recommend it and come back !
One tiny thing , please next time serve the starter before the chicken because dubboki was a tiny bit colder than I hoped“

“During our trip to NY, we stopped here and grabbed lunch. The line met us at the door but we got our food in under 3 mins due to our orders being taken in line and when we were at the cashier our food got handed to us while we were paying. We sat on the 2nd floor to dine and the restaurant was clean even though it was full during lunch time. The staff got our orders exact and the food was great. The restrooms are located on the second floor.
They have 3 floors at this location:
(First Floor)- Where you make your order and pay/Pick up orders online.
(Second Floor)- This is where you have the first option of dining and restrooms (No code needed).
(Third Floor)- Additional seating for dining.
Also, please note this restaurant is about a 8 min walk from the 9/11 memorial pools/museum, One World Observatory and the Oculus. So if you wanted to grab something before or after visiting this part of the city, this Chick-fi-la would hit the spot!“

“Tada — Chinatown, NYC
Tada is an easygoing spot in Chinatown that does casual Korean comfort food with a clean, modern touch. The room is simple and relaxed, making it a comfortable choice for an unfussy meal that still feels thoughtfully put together.
The food is straightforward and well executed. The HSBC Army Stew stands out as the most satisfying dish—rich, spicy, and comforting, with enough depth and portion to truly anchor the meal. It’s the kind of dish you come back craving.
The fried chicken, which Tada is best known for, delivers as expected. Crisp, well-seasoned, and juicy, it’s done with confidence and is an easy crowd-pleaser.
Portions across the menu lean modest, and at this price point, a few more side dishes or something like a steamed egg or soft tofu would make the meal feel more complete. Still, for casual dining, Tada gets the fundamentals right: good flavors, reliable execution, and a laid-back atmosphere that works well for a low-key Chinatown stop.“

“There’s a reason Jollibee is known for having the best fried chicken in America — it’s perfectly crispy, juicy, and full of flavor every time. I even tried their new spicy chicken sandwich, and it was excellent as well. The food is always fresh, the service is friendly, and the experience is consistently great. Absolutely worth the stop.“

“The spicy chicken biscuit omg toooooo die for so my husband and I saw many people entering this spot plus it was our first time. We heard mac and cheese, greens, and fried chicken. So we got a bucket of mixed chicken, two sides of Mac and cheese, and some collard greens (they make them with black eyed peas and tomatoes; totally different from any kind of greens I ever had and I definitely was left craving more. Nice little spot and such friendly people. Heading back very soon“

“I was in the Penn Station area today and had a craving for fried chicken. Initially, I was thinking about going to a certain Filipino fried chicken chain, but after checking the ratings, Pollo Camino came out on top. They’ve recently opened a new branch near Penn Station, but I ended up visiting their 8th Ave location instead — a small, single-storefront shop with a simple interior.
I ordered the fried chicken set for $9.99, which came with two pieces of chicken, a piece of bread, one side, and a drink for an extra $1.
• Drink: I went with their Horchata, made with peanuts and vanilla ,milk, without the cinnamon and rice I’m used to. It had a nice aroma, refreshing, and a bit different — in a good way.
• Side: I chose yuca fries, served in large sticks. The inside was dense than potato, with a lightly crisp exterior. Personally, I wasn’t a fan — I’d say skip this and go for another side.
• Fried Chicken: Lightly battered with a noticeable blend of spices and herbs. The meat was tender, while the skin wasn’t the super-crispy kind you’d get from those well-known Louisiana or Kentucky-style chains. Flavor was solid, but here’s an important tip — just like with many fried chicken places, don’t let it sit too long. Once it cools, the saltiness becomes much more pronounced.
Service gets a full 5 stars in the fast-food category — no self-service pick-up here, they bring your food right to the table.
Overall, Pollo Camino is worth trying if you’re around Penn Station. The price is fair, the chicken is flavorful, but choose your side wisely and eat it while it’s hot. Next time I’ll try a competitor for comparison, but for now, my top spot still belongs to Louisiana chain.“

“Counter service spot serving up fried chicken. They have wings, tenders or chicken sandwiches with a good selection of dry rubs and sauces to choose from. The food was delicious and the staff were attentive and helpful. Best part was it didn't break the bank. I highly recommend this spot for lunch or a simple dinner.“

“Relaxed atmosphere of a dive bar with killer food.
First note: they have the worst Diet Coke I have ever had in my entire life. Completely flat and tastes like it came out of a dirty gun.
HOWEVER every time I come here I get the chicken platter, Mac and cheese, and a tuna melt. The chicken is succulent with a beautiful breading and is piping hot every time. It is served with a sweet honey butter that goes beautifully with the biscuits as well. The biscuits are good but not mind blowing, they are small and served 3 per order. The Mac and cheese can be dry depending on the batch but this most recent visit was perfectly creamy but still firm enough to slice. It is a baked style. The tuna melt is one of my favorites in the city. It has a massive amount of tuna inside but feels lighter than others I have had. It almost takes like the tuna is whipped. I can’t figure out what they do to the tuna but it’s great. The best part about this place is that the kitchen is open late. We actually came this time because the restaurant we were trying to go to had closed their kitchen early. It’s really great having this option in the area.“

“Had my first ever Dave’s reaper chicken tender here. Extreme spiciness aside, the cooks were definitely cheffing it up back there because the tender was so juicy and crispy. The fried pickles really good too. Everyone was very friendly, esp our cashier/waiter who cheered me thru the reaper tender.“

“The pictures they advertise with has about 4 pieces of tenders but the sandwich is really 2 tenders but tasty and filling....... I also got the 5 piece and its worth it. Fries are tasty but floppy soft with a slight crunch (not bad but definitely not great like McDonald's) The biscuit is really good I'm just missing honey butter. Add 2 tenders for only $2 for each tender and you got another delicious sandwich..... Both the sandwich and tenders has a nice crunch, enough crunch to uncross Kash Patel's cockeye!“
