“When my brothers were kids, they would stop to eat at Hiram"s on their way back from Palisade's Amusement Park. My mom would always ask why. My brothers replied, "the food is better at Hiram's! When I worked for Thomas J. Lipton in Englewood Cliffs, my co-workers and I went to Hiram's for lunch often. I plan on going very soon! I so love Hiram's for the food and it's longevity.“

Burger was the best thing from this order.

Pernil was alright in general but you can find better.

“So delicious! You must order at the kiosks outside, and then walk in the back to pick up your order. Service was fast and you can tell they take care to make sure quality is satisfactory. The space was clean, although there’s no where to sit or stand and eat. So you have to take your food outside and find a spot, which is not always pleasant because 32nd street is very busy. Regardless, the hot dog was so tasty and the portion size was large. I would come back here!“

“Hot dog itself seems like it's deep fried so the skin is crisp while the inside stays juicy, with great pork flavor. The bun is pretty normal which seems like a waste when so much effort is put into the hot dog and toppings. Restaurant gets pretty loud and crowded with all the speakeasy customers but we were able to find a seat even on Saturday night.

The hot dogs are on the smaller side so you can have one as a light meal or combine it with tater tots. Splitting two hot dogs and a side of loaded tater tots between two people is good for a full meal.

Lil Ma hot dog - was intrigued by the peanut butter and it paired pretty well with the acidity of the pickles
Elote hot dog - not as impressed by this one but good if you like the toppings included
Nacho tater tots - reminds me of something you'd make at late night in a college dining hall and really hits the spot after a long day of walking around NYC“

“With an appetite on the search for a corndog, we avoided the questionable city food trucks and google searched the closest one; Chelsea Papaya turned up.

The corndog as seen in the photo, was crunchy, great balance of mustard, ketchup, cornbread and overall ✨amazing✨ soo if you’re particularly looking for a cornbread, check the place out. Staff was nice.

Edit: I wish it came with a full beef dog instead of just half, and the kimchi fries didn’t include enough fries or kimchi for what we paid.“

The owner and his wife are fantastic, welcoming, and super into thier craft. I also upgraded my fries to the truffle parmesean - truffle isnt as outstanding of a flavor but the parm was pretty good. The service is also so nice! My friend and I ate a bacon egg and cheese on toast. The entire sandwich is a beautiful presentation. The toast was golden brown, warm and sliced as to envelope the ingredients. The cheese a warm gooey skin around the walls of the toast. The bacon, added wonderful flavor to the fluffiest eggs I have seen in quite a while. “Went there today for the first time with my wife, I had the 10 West burger, so delicious, cooked perfectly and the burger was huge, just the right number of toppings and the bacon jam hit it out of the park. The sweet potato fries were excellent and enough for two people. The chips that come with the burger were also good. My wife had the regular burger with no cheese and an order of regular fries. She really enjoyed it and said it was cooked perfectly. The staff was friendly, the owner, Mel, greeted us, took our order and chatted with us while our order was being prepared. We were given a little disc that lit up and vibrated when the order was ready to be picked up at the counter. One of the best burgers around! A little pricy, but definitely worth it!
