He has the tables decorated for the season, the staff is top notch & the waterfront view is to die for. I highly recommend that you pay him a visit, it's worth the trip.“

“Wonderful little local eatery with vintage flair! They switch from the breakfast menu to the lunch menu at 11am, so don't want too long if you want eggs, pancakes, or french toast. I had a seafood salad sandwich on a Kaiser roll, and it was great! I bought a local history book, and the author and proprietor, Mrs. Higbee, personally autographed it! Wonderful place, and I look forward to returning!“

She got the #lightningsalad containing #arugula #grilledchicken #craisins #walnuts and #gorgonzola with #balsamicvinegrette and they did not skimp on the chicken. The sauce added some spice and heat, but the #cheese helped smooth it out and bring balance. The middle layer was creamy and appropriately tart, while the icing on top was a bit sweet and #whitechocolate shavings added nicely to the texture.
