That Walmart special was kind of hard to watch. Didn’t help that they have it set to Cool (blue) so it goes with the blue lit décor of the bar, but definitely come back for the DJ though.“

“This is a slightly elevated Irish Bar. We had Burgers, Fish n Chips and Shepherd's pie which were all very good.

The bar was at the front and booths were at the back, which was what we needed because we were exhausted. This was also marathon day.

“Today we had the pleasure of dining at Blue 42 Restaurant and Bar, located at 158 Market St, Elmwood Park, NJ, and I must say it was a delightful experience. “I met a couple of my old coworkers there December 20th after 4 years. I wanted to go to a highly rated family-run place and this establishment didn't disappoint. The burgers, meatloaf and pita wraps were excellent. The owner Vinnie greeted us and seated us, then came by to chat with us. The server was attentive and seemed to like her job. About a 15 - 20 minute walk from the Harrison PATH station. I will be making future visits there with old collegues.“

“I came down for the first time last month to watch the Celtic match starting at 7 am, I didn't know what to expect but the food was great, the staff were all very welcoming and friendly, and the atmosphere was great even in the early morning. I was so impressed I stayed after to watch the EPL matches they were showing even though I'm not a big EPL fan. “Great little bar near the PATH Station in Harrison. Located in the rear side of the Element Hotel on Somerset Street. Very nice atmosphere, friendly crowd and very friendly service. “I was in NYC, searching for a great burger. I used the Internet, deciding on Burgerology 320 W.36th St. Crown Plaza Hotel Midtown. The entire experience was so enjoyable. It’s rare to have anything work out so well, in every way. The greeting was immediate, warm and welcoming, without being syrupy, phony or overbearing. The server, Jen, was very polite and efficient. She had total knowledge of product of everything on the menu, with clear explanations and great presentation. The menu was comprehensive in it’s list of burgers with a consummate variety of meat and non-meat offerings. The extensive list included, USDA Prime, American Kobe, Dry Aged, Signature Blend, Bacon Blend, Lamb, Turkey, Vegetarian, Vegan, Plant Based, and countless other menu items that somehow felt appropriate in a format tastefully constructed around burgers. There were 8 cheese choices, 4 bun options, including multigrain and gluten-free, and endless list of condiments and all the completely fresh ingredients and toppings on the menu. As great as everything was - at one point, the lens focused on why the place was so great in so many unrelated ways. The best part of it was a visit to the table from the manager, Jackson. His concern about everything was authentic and professional. His easygoing, but precise, attention to detail rivaled and exceeded anything I’ve experienced anywhere in restaurants from all price points. The genuineness and class of the manager - quickly explained everything. While there’s no question that Burgerology is a phenomenal place, clearly, the staff is an extension of the Jackson’s personal quality and high-wire professional standard. His likable nature has a great affect on people and it completed our comfort zone, solidifying Bugerology as the best restaurant experience we’ve had in NYC … or anywhere. I recently visited Hudson Yards Tavern and it was an unforgettable experience. The combination of delicious food, refreshing drinks, and a stunning poolside setting makes this place truly special.

The atmosphere is incredible—chic yet laid-back, with comfortable seating around the pool that’s perfect for lounging or socializing. The pool itself was crystal clear and inviting, making it a fantastic addition for those who want to cool off or just enjoy the view.

The menu had a great variety, and everything we ordered was top-notch. I started with the Fried Calamari, which was fresh and flavorful. For the main course, I tried the Citrus Salmon , which was beautifully plated and perfectly cooked. The cocktail menu is equally impressive; the Hudson Tropical, was a standout—refreshing, perfectly balanced, and ideal for sipping by the pool.

The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. They made us feel welcome and relaxed throughout the visit.

Whether you’re looking for a fun day out with friends or a unique spot for dinner and drinks, Hudson Yards Tavern is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be returning to soak up the vibe again soon!
