This place did not disappoint and the high reviews left here are worth the hype. Ordered the spicy soy garlic + fries combo and it was deeeelicious. Fresh, hot, with the perfect amount of spice and the wings are bigger than what you'd get at a chain fried chicken restaurant. After finishing a pretty tough three-hour moving job in Manhattan, I was walking back to my truck around 2:30 PM when I spotted Chelsea Papaya and decided to stop in because I had a serious craving for hot dogs.

I'm glad I did.

For just over $15, I got two hot dogs, french fries, and a nice-sized drink, which I thought was a great value considering the location in Manhattan. The place had that classic New York hot dog stand feel that reminded me of some of the papaya spots I used to visit years ago.

The staff was friendly, and I even got a chance to joke around a little with the guy at the register while waiting for my order. The restaurant wasn't overly crowded, the line moved quickly, and I was able to grab a small booth and relax for a few minutes after a long day of work.

After about a 10-minute wait, my food was ready, and I can honestly say it hit the spot. The hot dogs were delicious, the fries were fresh, and everything was made exactly the way I wanted it.

“Chicken over rice bowl is $10 and sooo worth it. It's so good. Prepared quickly and efficiently. I would maybe go light on the red sauce as it is very spicy, or remove it altogether (if sensitive to spice.)

“I’ve been on a hot dog kick lately and recently found out about Boulevard Drinks, so my husband and I decided to drop in on a Saturday at around 11:30. The place is a hole in the wall. But it’s always the dingy looking places that have the best food. I’m not sure there were even any seats. We just stood next to the counter and ate, which you need to anyway because they’re meant to be eaten fresh. We ordered a cheese dog with sweet onions, and a spicy sausage with sweet onions. Each topping is 50 cents, so it can add up and you may end up paying $5 for a hot dog. But worth it for a once in a while treat. The hot dog was good but I liked the sausage a lot more. Both have a similar taste but the sausage is bigger and snappier. We ended up ordering another spicy sausage afterwards, but this time with chili. This one was pretty heavy so I’m glad we shared. Unpopular opinion, but I think a chili cheese dog would have been too much. Glad we got to check this place out!“
