“Ordered from here for the first time. Got unagi don and the sashimi deluxe. Both came with miso soup. I asked for substitutions in fish and they gave me exactly what I asked for. The sashimi was good for the most part, the salmon was the best part, melted in my mouth and delicious. The other fish were good too. The unagi don was good but a bit too salty, so that was a little disappointing. I haven't tried the miso soup yet.“

INCREDIBLY delicious flavorful ice cream with a nice, stretchy texture alongside soft fresh toppings, and they make sure you get a good amount of them too! The milk teas are good too! A lot of boba tea places I've bought from put too much milk, and it completely overpowers the tea flavor, but not this place! I strongly recommend the Earl Grey Milk Tea; it tastes like Earl Grey tea mixed with melted choco-vanilla ice cream in the best way possible. - Flavor: Extensive selection with seasonal variety available. I usually get the Chai or Oolong Milk Tea. The tea used in the milk tea is pleasantly strong but can sometimes be a bit watery instead of a smooth milk tea. Seasonal flavors tend to be hit or miss. Because the teas can be hit or miss, you'll likely default to a couple drinks you like rather than want to experiment too often.
- Boba: Generous amount of Boba with a pleasantly elastic chew. The boba rarely clump which make for a pleasant drink experience but the sweetness of the boba can cause a sweet drink to be a bit too sweet. Regardless, the boba has a nice inherent flavor.
- Price: Meets what I consider the average price (7-8$, 2025).
- Overall - A very solid bubble tea place that I have been frequenting for several years when in the area. It is a nice bubble tea for regular visits but doesn't quite set the standard for a bubble tea shop you'd actively go out of the way for.

- Extra - Despite the extensive menu, it's limited space means it's selection pales in comparison to other established shops or kiosks of the Kung-Fu tea franchise. The kiosk location is also interesting and the staff are courteous,“

“This is a nice GC store with space available for dine-in. The looks clean and cozy. They have several board games available too for guests to play while waiting or handing out in the store. They also have a small merchandise shelf that has unique GC products.

The menu had all of the popular drinks. We ordered the strawberry milk tea with bubbles and black tea through the kiosk. The drinks were ready in couple of minutes. Both drinks were really tasty. Bobas were soft and chewy too.

There was only one associate at the store but he was managing all the orders efficiently. Did a wonderful job with the strawberry milk tea. I have never seen anyone put the strawberry syrup so nicely all around the cup. It looked so nice and I had shake it so many to mix it with the milk.“

“Have been a customer of this Gong Cha ever since they opened many years back. Small booth type store for take out only. Employees do an incredible job of preparing ingredients, taking orders and serving drinks, all within the small tiny square box.

Over the years I have had many kinds of drinks from here that includes strawberry milk tea, honey green tea, mango green, Thai milk tea, with boba/jelly most times. Boba and coconut jelly have always been constantly good. They allow adjusting sugar and ice levels.

After they introduced the rewards, we have been getting $5 towards drink for spending $50. Today we got an offer to get $5 off for a second drink, so we got both for less than $8.“

Inside is nice and clean with the usual Gong Cha decor of loose leaf teas. Ordered two drinks and had one of my go-to flavors which is their Earl Grey with 3Js. Usually 70% for me is sweet so I tend to get that percentage but the 70% sweetness for my order was just slighly sweet. not a big deal breaker just noting the difference.

“This was the BEST bubble tea I've ever had! I had the fruit fusion tea with tapioca and it was delish! It had tiny pieces of FRESH apples and oranges in it. The pork soup dumplings are tasty and hold their own compared to some of the best I’ve had. The braised beef noodle soup is rich and comforting, while the bao chicken is flavorful and satisfying.

Portions are generous for the price, which makes it a solid value overall. The restaurant itself is modern and clean, giving off a nice vibe. Just a heads up though, it’s not really the best spot for parties larger than 6 people. But for smaller groups or casual meals, it’s a winner.“

On the other side of the story… which probably has its own back story… Cherie the owner had shut the bakery as her daughter wanted to celebrate with her friends and family. As a mother myself I can totally understand that. When she saw my family she informed them that they are closed. But when she heard we had called in morning and saw my daughters dejected face… she opened her doors. Made a quick bubble tea and even gave some extra cookies as a New Years treat. My kids came back so happy saying “mommy it was a holiday miracle!” Thank you Kudo Society Cafe. For providing us one last 2022 miracle. Thank you Cherie for understanding. We have been Kudos patrons since it was at palisades park but now we are die hard advocating neighbors of yours. Ps: pic of the cookie treat. My son ate the red velvet on way home.“
