“This is truly the best kept secret. This place rocks, darts, pool table, great atmosphere, and the porch is awesome. specially during a storm!! At 1st it looks like a house, but when you enter, it's a great place for happy hour and like a "CHEERS." Bartenders are awesome and the food is actually simple and decent. I love how you can go off the menu items and order what you want. If they have it, it can be done!“

“I love that bar.. The only thing I wish I could change would be having more elbow room to walk around. I don't blame them for it but you can't walk around people at all between the bar and the tables. Otherwise, the atmosphere, people, drinks, food and music are always great every time we're there. Of all the bars in our neighborhood this is probably one of my favorites even with the very little space in most of the bar. And it's always nice and clean.“

“Cute spot for a drink. Interesting mix of drink options and prices were quite reasonable for the area. The seating is a bit limited but we were lucky enough to grab a seat right by the bar. “Went on a date night with my man and we had a great time. The food was very well cooked and seasoned. We got pretzels that were delicious. The mustard had wasabi so it was veryyy spicy and it also came with melted cheese on the side that I loved. Then I got the Schwab burger and it was delicious. My boyfriend got a salmon burger but he didn’t love it. I’m not a beer girl but they had cocktails and it was an amazing drink. I forget the name sorry! The service was great, Leo was our server he was very nice and we got everything we asked for in a timely manner. The atmosphere was nice, just loud on a Saturday night. There’s a shop to buy beer and a pool table. I think there’s an upstairs but we didn’t go up there. Would recommend for girls night, date night, and just casually getting together.“

“We came on a whim, and were blown away by the sushi. The miso butter cod and the eel signature rolls in particular were excellent, but everything we ordered was beautifully presented and tasted incredible. Will be back next time we’re in town.

“We just love our new family restaurant! We get treated like family everytime we go!!!! The atmosphere is so cozy and the staff is exceptional. And let's talk about the food - it's absolutely to die for! The portions during happy hour are perfect and the prices are so reasonable.

But the best part? Let me introduce you to DAVID! He's the star of the show - always attentive, funny, and he makes drinks like a true master! Whenever I go, I insist on being seated with David.

They made our anniversary so special and they truly care about their guests' experience. We feel so lucky to have this gem in the neighborhood. I'd travel far and wide for this level of excellence!

Oh, and I can't forget to mention my favorites: The Good Good Things drink, the Buffalo wings during happy hour, and the amazing cheesesteak! And my kids absolutely love the huge, deep dish, extra cheesy pizza.

Almost forgot the fresh house made potato chips!!!! So so so good!!! Don't skip them!

The hours are perfect as I generally go to use the simulators before work in the morning and work on my swing or play a round. I’ve also had a few lessons with Senior Golf Pro Matt Davis and I can already tell my swing has gotten better. With the technology they have and following Matt’s direction I feel like I’ll be performing a lot better once I get on an actual course. Highly recommend.“

“I was happy I stopped by Sassafras to check out its charm as I was in Philly. I got there right around when it opened and was able to enjoy the ambiance and a few cocktails. Although the bartenders were clearly well seasoned in making cocktails, I was hoping for a little bit more from both of my drinks - they just seemed to be missing something that made them really stand out. “Let me start I did read all the bad reviews before heading over there so I didn’t have great expectations.However as a cheapskate and a craft beer lover especially searching for my lessor common styles of beer, I typically go by each bar and restaurant in airport and scan QR code to see beer selection and check pricing.Most places here in Philadelphia Airport straight rip off at 16 per pint, but when you want a beer you’re stuck. Anyway when I first approached the counter I was absolutely expecting to be poked since they didn’t show prices only beer menu.Luckily they had something for me that I was going to purchase regardless, A nice strong Golden at 8%.I was then blown away upon seeing I got a 20oz, normally higher ABV beers are served in smaller 12oz glasses. Any full pour of 20oz was only 10 bucks and I was expecting at least 20, left me room in budget to not only get 2nd beer plus a pretty solid hotdog and chips.Biggest plus was Connor the bar tender, was super cool and attentive, and then informed me I was safe to take my cup and walk back to my terminal, since I walked a fair distance just to check out all beer options.Lastly, unlike most other restaurants In airport it’s kind of obvious if your paying attention that their section is not owned and maintained by airport, as most restaurants have tables and chairs with chargers that kind of blend from restaurants into gates, so I kinda understand their right to ask people to patronize their business or ask them to leave, I was lucky to find a spot at the bar.Not excusing anyone ever treated rudely, and definitely not my experience.“

Unique vegan options that are so delicious and really highlight the produce! (Instead of using fake meats etc). They have some great menu items and seasonal specials.

Well curated drink menu with cocktails, craft beers and wine.

Nice dining experience with more laid back setting since they do have a TV at the bar.
But still cozy, candlelight, etc. great date spot!“

“Different Cheesesteak #1191. It's a sneaky good cheesesteak. If I were young and hip, I would be a regular at New Wave Cafe. The cheesesteak came with sneaky good French fries. It passed the eye test mostly due to the seeded roll, red peppers, and a big pile of french fries. Provolone cheese. Very well-melted provolone cheese. A sneaky good amount of well-melted provolone cheese added a hardiness to each bite. Nothing really stood out. This cheesesteak by itself may not win any awards. But, all things considered; prime rib, french fries, presentation, decor, and service; I really liked it!! You know I don’t like $17.“

“Had a reservation for two here and I was running a little late because I had to look for parking (I would suggest taking public transportation) and they were very accommodating and allowing me to push back my reservation time to a half hour later. Once arriving, we checked in at the front desk and to the right of you are tablets where you can sign your waiver. I do love that this is a different experience however, I lack the upper body strength and aim to do this for an hour straight. I personally was fine with just a half hour lol.

I ordered wings and a drink. It did take some time for the food and drinks to come out. The food came out first and then maybe 20 minutes later the drinks came out that’s why I took a star away for service because it was such a long wait. And the place was not crowded at all. The wings were OK in flavor, I got buffalo and it wasn’t really all that hot. But they were doable.“

“We got the miso Caesar, Italian hoagie, bahn mi, and which ever non alc fruity drink with the passion fruit in it. The miso Caesar salad was delish until I connected the smell to a memory which was ~vintage Tupperware~. I couldn’t eat anymore after that but before I had that thought it was delish. Sandos were amazing and the drink was yummy! Service was perf per usual.“

“Came for brunch. The space itself is cool: you take an elevator to the 11th floor and you're transported to a rooftop restaurant. The roof is retractable so could be a nice option when warmer (it was closed when we went).

We got all the salsas (free chip refills!) which came with a surprising amount of options, so that was nice. The barbacoa tacos were fine, nothing special but standard (the tortilla tore a little easier than I would have expected so a bit hard to eat). The chorizo rojo hash was delicious. A solid amount of chorizo with a delightful sauce. The menu didn't have a ton of things outside of barbacoa tacos that I was interested in so I was surprised to have enjoyed this as much as we did.

The drinks were fine-standard margarita with a tajin rim. The service was a bit slow. We were one of two tables and it took a strange amount of time to get napkin refills, water, and the check.“

“The bayou basically birthed my child. I had their 25 cent wings every Monday and Tuesday leading up to my due date. I was actually in the bar when my water broke and the staff were so friendly and assisted me until my husband could arrive. Can’t wait for my little girl to try their food when she’s older!“

“One of the best places to become a regular at great drink, great food, great prices. Staff, especially management staff, are lovely and care about their customers. Alone? No problem, they've got cool and interesting people behind the bar who want to chat. With a group? They've got tables for you.

Vegetarian options: Cold spicy noodles, and vegan burgers always available. Great salad option as well.

Parking: Street larking available on Frankford Ave and side streets. Easy to find parking after 4-5pm.

“I went to Jet Wine bar for a Halloween movie night with a friend. They were understaffed but they still went above and beyond to take care of us. Food and drinks were excellent. We watched the movie inside even though they were only serving outside. It was so kind and really an unnecessary accommodation they made for us to enjoy our time there. I'll definitely be going back!
