“My bestie and fellow Yelper Shante P suggested this place on a random Wednesday evening.. We were a little light on cash and wanted cheap drinks. Happy Hour is from 7-9...$2 anything.. I'm a licensed bartender so I do peek around to see what their "well" liquors are. Surprisingly, their well liquors were mid shelf. This bar is a dive, the patrons are regulars and kinds give unknowns the "eye".. Nothing crazy.. They were pretty friendly to us. Karaoke was on and popping.. Older bartenders and generous pours for $2. However, once it hit around 8..the crowd changed to a younger group and happy hour quickly ended. I've seen this done at plenty of places, but it's kinda false advertising when you say 7-9..then end it early because the bar gets crowded. Alot of the patrons showed their disgust and left.. I do like the place though. However, it's Camden and not sure how often I'd frequent this spot..“
“Charlie's Place reminds me of the TV show (CHEERS) were everyone knows your name it's always welcoming. Steph is a awesome bartender she is very interactive with customers and makes sure everyone gets attended to. The corner bar in undergoing improvements and still opens its doors to the public. I remember this bar as a little girl and anytime i go back to Camden to visit i make sure to stop in..“
“Came here with a good friend for some good food, good vibes, good drinks, and all over good times! All boxes were checked! I was really impressed with the food. We got the bang bang shrimp, and it was banging (teehee)! The outdoor area is a hidden oasis! I will DEF be back!“
