“My wife and I both love oceancrat. It is your typical seafood boil place that is clean, reasonably priced, and has unique decorations throughout. The food is always flavorful and well cooked. It's the first type of seafood boil place we've been to that serves fried rice with the meal, and at first we thought that was unusual, but after the second time, we decided we really liked the uniqueness and taste. It is really great to have a place like this locally and we hope it stays around for decades to come.“
“Really nice staff they will do above and beyond especially the bartender Diana she has amazing customer service skills and one of the nicest bartenders I’ve ever met ! Front desk staff really helpful especially Jordan and Clarence ! This place is awesome for friends and family to hang out , bowl , eat really good food the honey hot wings are a MUST try here! All sounds great time if you’re looking for a cool bowling alley to have a good time this is the place would highly recommend coming and I know I’ll be back again !“
“It's been years since I've been here, but between Jay's making lists for top dives in NJ and top beer lists in the country I have been meaning to get back. Prior to going I looked up their beer list on Untappd and was overwhelmed by the beer selection. Unfortunately (but fortunately because it made my beer selection decisions much easier) many of the craft beers listed were sold in cans. The beers on the numbered list on Untappd are the beers available on tap (all other beers listed are in cans or bottles). They still had a nice variety of craft beers on tap and I really enjoyed the few I tried. They seemed a bit pricey though and even the lower ABV beers were served in smaller glasses. We got two seats at the bar around 6:30 on a Friday night. All night people were coming and going and there was nobody really standing around waiting for bar seats for too long. The bartender was nice and he was the only one working when we first arrived but after a bit there were multiple people behind the bar. It definitely felt divey inside. My dad said the bar top was the same bar top from years and years ago when he used to come here when he was my age. We split wings with medium Buffalo sauce and cheesesteak fries. I frequently see Jay's wings mentioned on SJFS and for good reason. They were top notch and I'd come back just for the wings. They might even be at the very top of my wing list (although I'd try a different sauce next time). Incredibly crispy and weren't chewy whatsoever. The cheesesteak fries (cheesesteak served over a bed of waffle fries were also surprisingly good. While at Top Golf earlier in the week our bay host recommended them and advised all the food at Jay's is very good. I wasn't expecting to spend $100+ at a dive bar between two of us but the experience was very good. If I lived a little closer I would definitely be there all the time. Even though the beer list is good I'd probably stick with drinking a domestic draft or bottle the next time I go to avoid spending as much as we did on smaller glasses of craft beer. I will definitely be back and will be looking forward to trying more menu items in the future.“
“The intent is clear and well executed. It didn't seem like a place that aims to put pizza on a pedestal rather a well put together representation of desired traits specific to the Philadelphia dining scene. The pizza leaned towards a bar pie, that was executed by someone who has a devout understanding of the dough and the other ingredients involved. The soft serve was well spun and tasty. Overall the hype is real and was a real joy to visit!“
“Stopped into Redz for a after work cocktail and was welcomed with great service!Wayne is a great bartender and has so many amazing twist on classic cocktails which makes it an unforgettable experience!I ordered a Jalapeño Watermelon Margarita and the BBQ wings!“
“We had a nice lunch today! I loved my eggplant, tomato, and avocado tower. My friend loved her tomato basil soup and bacon grilled cheese! Our server was attentive, timely, and informative. It's a great go-to place at any time. Parking was plentiful! This time, we had some apps. Service and food are still great!“
“Loved our Sunday brunch here. Came here after trying Nemi (their sister restaurant) & thought everything was delicious. Great service for sure & the food was super good. Waffles & strawberry cream were not too sweet & perfect compliment to our other two dishes. Will return to Port Richmond soon.Vegetarian options: They can taylor your dish to be all veg.“
“The facility is clean. The staff is friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. With 12 simulators using the TrackMan technology, you can get your reps.A full bar and innumerable TVs throughout paired with fantastic food makes for an encompassing experience. To save money look at a membership or packages (seriously I frequent the spot 2-5x a week).“
“Went for the first time to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday. The food and drinks were phenomenal, the atmosphere was very classy with Sinatra playing in the background, but the best was Sam, our waiter. What a guy! Excellent service, jovial conversation, and the voice of an angel. Would definitely recommend and plan to return to see Sam once again.“
“Wow wow wow! Fabrika is the chicest place to go on a Thursday night! The staff are classy and attentive, the dj and pianist brought the vibes, drinks and food are wonderful, and the performers are simply amazing! 10/10! burlesque show was comedic, stunning, sensual, and sparkly!“
“Literally if you live anywhere near fish town Come here !!! My fiancé and I got the meatballs and ricotta for an app AMAZING tasted like moms meatballs .. we ordered and spilt the tagliatelle with filet and truffles OH MY GOD ! My taste buds are SCREAMING I am 100% Italian and know flavors but this right here MANNNNN best thing I’ve eaten in a long long time ! Bartenders are so attentive and the atmosphere is awesome !!! Check this place out yalllll amazing“
“Star was a great bartender! Great conversation and the food was even better! We stumbled on this place by accident on our way to somewhere else and we were pleasantly surprised. We WILL be back soon! Can’t wait to try more items on their menu!“
“The food was delicious! We got one of their pizzas and ahi tuna dishes. Absolutely delicious on both. The service was impeccable. I have a dairy allergy, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure there was no dairy in my dish (the ahi tuna). Leonardo was our server, and I have to say he gave us the best experience we have probably ever received. Ever. We are really easygoing, so to have a server go the extra mile for us was beyond our expectations. We actually can't wait to go back to Yard House, and that was our first time ever dining in a Yard House-- all thanks to Leonardo! If you have the opportunity to visit this Yard House location, don't hesitate to ask if Leonardo has an open table available! Seriously, he was incredible! He is also very knowledgeable of the menu and local options around the area. He made the entire experience incredible!“
“The team at The Madison and Thomas, in particular, were exceptional. The venue's beauty was breathtaking, and its cleanliness was without fault. The culinary experience was a highlight, with dishes that transcended traditional event food, both in presentation and quality. Thomas, a true professional, made the planning process a breeze with his patience, knowledge, and helpfulness. The service received from Immanuel and the staff on the night of was flawless, and every staff member went above and beyond to ensure our guests felt welcomed and cared for. A big thank you to everyone for making this milestone event so memorable.“
“Front Street Cafe in Philadelphia is a beloved all-day spot in Fishtown, known for its versatile menu and comfortable backyard. It’s perfect for any time of day, from a morning latte to late-night eats. The cafe area is great for casual meet-ups, while the backyard with a second bar is ideal for when the inside gets crowded. With affordable cocktails and better-than-expected food, it’s a place that’s universally loved and perfect for literally everyone.“
“We have been coming for brunch for years and have always had a great meal with exceptional service. We prefer to sit at the bar. The high tops in the bar area have stools with no backs to them, which are not comfortable to us. Bartenders are always so nice and provide excellent service. This week, we tried the kimchi fried rice, pretzel bites, and hot wings. The kimchi rice had a nice spice to it with a runny fried egg on top. For $10 you get a huge bowl of crispy pretzel bites with everything but the bagel seasoning on top. Their wings are not breaded, but crispy and meaty with the perfect amount of sauce. All of our food came out hot and quickly. There are a few gluten free and vegetarian options on the menu. We have tried the chicken and waffles, shrimp and grits, and burger on previous trips and have loved all of them. There is a separate dining area away from the bar, which can be noisy. On nice days you can sit outside in outside bar area and table seating.Dietary restrictions: A few Gluten free optionsParking: Free parking small lotKid-friendliness: Kid friendly“
“One of our favorite restaurants ❣️ Always great & different daily specials which are very delicious ?. Many fabulous choices on regular menu ❣️. Service is amazing and very pleasant as well❣️❣️❣️ Always an awesome & enjoyable time ?“
“Great vibes, stellar menu, unbelievable service. We've been here a few times now, and every time it has blown us away. This time, we were helped by Alyssa, who provided attentive and excellent service throughout the night! The drinks were phenomenal (the cocktails rotate, so you gotta try them all!) And the food was bangin'. If you're hesitant to try out this cozy little spot, don't be! You won't be disappointed.“
“Great food, great service, great experience. I highly recommend if you actually eat and try different food and you're not that, "chicken strips and French fries person everywhere you goParking: Only thing bad if I can even complain about this is parking but it's Philly. I would suggest giving yourself time and you might have to walk but other than that (which is really nothing) it's a great place“
“We visited here for the 1st time and had a great experience 4.13.24Marco our waiter was very nice and took his time to explain the menu and the Chef Specials. We ended the night with a great desert for our anniversary.Would definitely come back.“
“Great beers and food. Their spicy fried chicken sandwich, regular fried chicken sandwich, and burger are all delicious sandwich options to pair with any of their long beer selection. Awesome curly fries too. Just a great place to grab a couple beers and a quick bite.“
“This was our second time at Max's Seafood and we really enjoyed our food both times. Delicious Oysters. The Chilean Sea Bass was so yummy the first time, I got it again. It did not disappoint! We tried dessert this time and the Creme Brulee and Key Lime Pie hit the spot. The Key Lime Pie had pistachios in the graham cracker crust. A very nice surprise ?? Also, you can order a bottle of wine here and it will not break the bank. Check it out! I highly recommend it.“
“I’ve been here three times and each one was great. I made a reservation for my birthday dinner a few days early and had to add a few people last minute; they made it work and fit us all in. The lentil burger is delightful, the beer cheese in the pretzel platter and doghouse fries is delicious, and the feta and hummus appetizer is also delectable. Drinks are strong, staff is lovely.“
“LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! Whether it's the Hams buckets, the local chatter from the regulars, the awesome bartenders (Bill, Shannon, Gerry, etc), the different pop-up food specials served out of the tiny side window outside, the payphone still in operation, the gambling machines, the jukebox music playing (but NOT while the games are on), etc. I could go on and on. Parking is a bit of a bitch, but that's okay as it's worth it. My husband and I feel like we're at our home away from home when we come here and that's exactly how it should be! CASH ONLY AND ATM AVAILABLE. The Happy Tap is just that, a no-frills bar with a lot of character! #ThankYouThursday to the Happy Tap for making us feel so welcome since we moved to the Philly area!“
“My husband and I held an event there this month and we cannot express enough how much we enjoyed our time at Pinsetter! Our guests are still talking about the great time that was had! The music, the food, the atmosphere were all TOP TIER!Even after experiencing some technical difficulties, the team showed such outstanding customer service and support! We will be back! There’s no doubt about it! To the ENTIRE Pinsetter team we say THANK YOU!-Hangin’ With The Howards Crew“
“It was surprisingly a wonderful place. I was a little leary when I heard the name, because I grew up in Kensington, & strived to get away from there as a kid, but now,.....now it's the new hip spot to be, & this place checked all the boxes of a place I'd like to have in my suburban neighborhood. Good food, nice outdoor dining space, I like how they kept a lot of the original inside from the early 1900's, slate floor & everything. I'd like to go back sometime.“
“We had a private event here which included the upstairs space along with beer and wine. The bartender and staff were wonderful and we had a great time! We had about 30 people and the space was a bit tight. I wouldn't book it if the event calls for any full group activities (like games) since it can be hard to hear (open space/ceilings). It's perfect for happy hour or casual/social events like birthdays. Also keep in mind there's a good amount of stairs and no elevator. The tables are high tops along with 2 booth areas. Everyone was happy with the drinks and I requested a mocktail which was delicious. Downstairs is spacious and it seems like a cool spot for shows. There was a cover band setting up as we were heading out.“
“Had our mother funeral luncheon. The staff was amazing and the food was incredible. Management was amazing and went out of their way to make sure our family was okay and had everything we needed. We can not thank the staff and management for the everything they did for us. Highly recommend Maggiano's for any event.“
“Amazing food and lively atmosphere! My date and I had the margherita and proscuitto hot honey pies and they were to die for! Drinks were perfectly made and the lavender lemon creme bruele was the perfect finishing touch. We didn't have to wait long for our order to come out either. Only complaint was that there was a group celebrating someone's birthday so it got way too loud, otherwise it was a perfect evening.“
“Recently renovated, a great spot for a dive bar, a few pool tables, plenty of TVs and the bartenders are great. If you're local definitely check it out. I've been there a few times and never had any issues and everything came out great and everyone was friendly.Parking: Definitely park across the street in the lot, they only have like 6 or so spots in front of the bar.“
“The fourth star is out of sentiment for it's heyday which has passedIf you can get in it is a very unique, quite large multi lounged bar/private club with a separate pool table room, large rap around screened back porch and a Huge backyard lounge.Only downsides are that the dozen video games in what is now a still cool pool table lounge, the video games are gone.I'm also not sure of the fate of the huge second floor bar lounge and dancefloor.“
“One of our favorite spots. Great atmosphere and service. Best mussels (white) around. We also love the GOAT burger, nachos, and chicken dishes. Grab the Pot De Creme for dessert. Great neighborhood spot. Plenty of parking and friendly staff.“
“It is a house in the middle of a town that has been converted to a bar tavern. Some call it a "dive bar", but I call it the people's bar. Welcomes all walks of live. Staff is friendly, and warns it's patrons with true manners if they step out of line, become to obnoxious, happy or loud otherwise. Not a child's school for book learning, or a place where the urban family should bring their family to dine finely. This is a place where the hero's gather to share their battle winnings and rewards with each other. Veterans, handicap, disabled, stressed people just looking to blow off some steam. If you are a gentlemen, and decide to bring your lady? Keep your woman next to you. I might just show up looking for a good time, if you know what I mean - giggety goo. But it is all good in the neighborhood here, because we do not force ourselves on anyone, threaten or violent. Just a down home friendly place where peaceful people exercise their right to happiness and freedom to talk as they see fit, without need of violence.Vegetarian options: Chef cooks it how you want it, upon request. Make your wish their command.Dietary restrictions: Chef cooks it how you want it, upon request. Make your wish their command.Parking: Royal kings are welcome to park their Nobel chariot vehicular transports, as well as a blue collar working man with a beat up pickup truck.Wheelchair accessibility: Friendly to all handicaps, disabilities, impairments, and otherwise.“
“I've been living in the area for 5 years now, and Lost is my absolute favorite spot/go to. The bartenders are all absolute amazing (shoutout Frankie, Jay, Mag, and John), the prices can't be beat, the music is always top notch, the patrons are eclectic and super interesting, and the vibe is different (in the best possible way) depending on what day/time you're there. Jay makes amazing cocktails that incorporate fresh ingredients grown in his garden, and Meg's Bloody Mary is legendary. The music always slaps. One night it could be hip hop bangers from Jay-Z and 50, and the next night they could be spinning deep cuts on Indy/alt vinyls. The pool table is super fun, and some of the most chill/friendly regulars are always happy to get a game. I love this bar. An absolute gem! 10/10“
“Good all around place. My burger came out quickly and was juicy and tasty. We got the pot stickers and Perogis as an app and they were well cooked and had good flavor. My drinks were pretty good as well. We have live around this spot for years and it has been consistent. Give them a try, they won't disappoint.“
“Met up with a friend for dinner and really like the ambiance of this place. Gives a really chill, laid-back vibe and they have some great food and drink choices with friendly staff. I ordered the Grilled Hangar Steak which came with chimichurri and green beans and it was the right amount of food. I feel like all the beers from local breweries are refreshing, but if you’re in the mood for a cocktail definitely try the Penicillin. Look forward to my next visit.“
“Ordered a pizza for takeout. Pizza was not bad coming from a bar. It is a thin crust pizza with the right amount of cheese, soft and flaky. No seasoning on the pizza and the tomato sauce a little sweet. However, it is cooked perfectly with no burnt marks. Noticed they had Miller Light cans for $3.00. The pizza cost $10.00, which is good value.“
“Wings were ok. Ordered 50. 25 garlic parm and 25 Barbalo (bbq and hot sauce) they were great but the garlic parm were super dry at this location like a dry rub. Bensalem Currans wings are 1000% better. No celery either which is odd. Bartender Brian was great while we waited.“
“What can I say, I been coming to this place for years. You can not and I will say it again you cannot beat their 2 dollar lunch menu during the week and two dollar beers. There food is fantastic as well like their burgers and other sandwiches. I never had anything bad to eat from here and always a good time when I decide to sit in for a beer and some food. I don’t usually come here at night anymore but they were decent night bar few years back.“
“My husband and I went here as a night out to have some fun. The food was good, drinks were good, and the staff were friendly, funny and amazing. We will be back and we really enjoyed this place. Thank you for taken care of us D. The Blackened Salmon was amazing!“
“I've been here twice, Once when quiet and another time during loud psychedelic pop rock music. The good service and food is consistent. I like the slight touch of tiki and the patio. I think I'll go here with my dog when the weather is warm. Both times I left feeling good and it's probably not just the good drinks. The Tin Can is a welcoming dive and an asset to Port Richmond.“
“My #1 pick for all things mexi-american foods.. Everything that I've gotten had been excellent but I usually get the same Plain Nachos, 3 - 4 Tamalees and to end with a choco-flan (flan with chocolate cake on top!)... Can't go wrong with these. I have not eaten inside the bar yet but it looks fun and exicting everytime I go to pick up my orders. The staff are always nice and usally have a smile. This is a staple if you live in Port Richmond, Fishtown and Kensington Area for sure.Vegetarian options: Just ask them whats up and they'll definately help you out!“
“Kid Rip has a decent beer selection, a great beet salad and sweet potato fries. A good place to come later at night after my work shift, looking for healthier vegetarian food.Recently they had Maine Brewing Co Little Whaleboat on tap, and where there is a Maine beer on tap, you'll see me lol. The service has been better lately. Cheers!“
“Food is delicious ? I got the veggies fajitas and hubby got chicken fajitas. You get chips on the table when you sit. Service was a little slow with drinks and I expected more toppings and guac ? or sour cream with the fajitas but maybe that's an American thing ??♀️ the owner stopped by our table and took time to talk to us and tell us how he started his business.. He's very friendly and genuine. If you're ever in the area definitely stop by for a drink or meal.Vegetarian options: Only three vegetarian options ?“
“My first time here with a few friends. I have been in search of a place for my birthday next month and I am pretty sure I have found it. Good food, the margaritas were perfect (thanks Ray) and our server, Alison was very sweet and attentive. Thanks and see you next month!“
“We went for drinks and snacks. I got an AMAZING Lemon Dream Martini and my hubs got a Manhattan Mule. Both very tasty. For food, we got a cheese plate (such good cheeses!) And an app combo that had lobster *stuffed* ravioli (they were fat ravilois!), eggplant stuffed with ricotta and spinach, and shrimp wrapped in pancetta. We were full. Service was excellent.Parking: Free valet!“
“Came here for a quick beer and enjoyed this spot. It has the feeling of a dive , so if you aren’t into that, this isn’t the place for you. I had their Green Rock Lager which had an interesting taste of bananas, but for the price was much more interesting than a typical light beer. Would definitely come back for a drink and to try the food.“
“The food was great(we had wings and shrimp), service was great (pretty sure the guy that waited on us was Jerry). As for atmosphere, the place appears to be a bar that serves great food. Wednesday nights are $1 eat in wings from 5-8, which means they're going to be seeing more of me on “
“I took my son here on a Wednesday and they had live music outside. The staff came right over to us and got us started with drinks while we reviewed the menu. We order s few different things and everything was great. While we ate the staff came over to us plenty of times to make sure we did not need anything else. I highly recommend this place for a great meal and service. It is not in my neighborhood, but I will gladly make the drive to go there again. Plus, its next to an ice cream stand!!! For some reason my pictures will not post, but we got fried pickles, mozz sticks (best I ever had), cheese fries, panzerotti, and a cobb salad which was huge!!!“
