“I probably get Chipotle a couple times a month and I normally use this location. They have a great staff and they are attentive. I sometimes go here and they run out of certain toppings or meats that lead me to have to go somewhere else. I wish that portion sizes were a little bit more when it comes to their protein, I mean we are paying $11 for rice and beans other than the protein“

“Pretty authetic mexican barbacoa from Capulhuac, mexico state. It gets pretty busy on weekends and they warn if kitchen is getting busy. Barbacoa is pretty good and I was happily surprised to find that sweet tamales are the state of Mexico style: "canarios", made of rice instead or corn with a pretty soft and fluffy texture.“

We originally fell in love with the birria tacos back in the food truck days - honestly haven't had a bad dish. The tortas are tasty and filling - chorizo is my go to right now. And there is just something special about their chips w/ guac.

“There were nine of us who dined there last night and we 100% agreed that the reviews are spot on. I got the Mexican Style grilled shrimp tacos and they absolutely slapped. We got the Latinas Bites for our app and finished off the night with the Dolce Quesadilla and Xangos for dessert, which were both uniquely and indulgently sweet. During dessert, I had pointed out that you'll know how good the food is because nobody's talking and everybody's eating. The first bite was as savory and delicious as the last and you must be prepared to bring food home. If you're familiar with the 7 Elements of Taste, this is definitely the place for you. I'll easily give Latinas a 9/10 and I will definitely be back, since there's so many more things I want to try.

Super flavorful sauce cooked up on the stovetop and presented simply and beautifully. Horchata was sweet and refreshing to go along with breakfast. “I really enjoyed my visit to El Purepecha and would definitely make a return visit. The Birria tacos were crispy and had the right amount of filling; the cheese pull was amazing! The consomé had lots of flavor and complimented the tacos very well. The slightly tart and refreshing mango mojito was a perfect compliment to the tacos. The churros were cooked perfectly with a crispy exterior and a slight chew in the center.“

“This place is the best! My husband and I use to drive to the city for Mexican food. The place is ten times better! Every time we get a date night, it’s always here! The people are so friendly. And is such a cozy little atmosphere. Don’t get me started on the deserts, the absolute best! I always get it to go because the portions are so big that you won’t have room for it. I can’t tell you enough that you’ve got to try this place! It’ll be your new go to spot!“
