“Review is for take out as I haven't yet dined in here. But we've order the breakfast platter multiple times and it's delicious and an amazing deal! Pancakes, waffles, eggs, has browns, bacon and sausage for around $15. One feeds our family of three breakfast on a Saturday and everything they give in it is cooked well/tasted great.“

“A 24 hour North NJ Diner??! Freakin Awesome right?!Amanda the hostess with a hilariously fun personality greeted me and immediately I felt like I was at home! I remembered her from a nearby Italian American Club. She took me over to a big cozy corner booth where my friend was already seated. So... menus, specials, flatware, napkins and drinks already there?? Wow, Zahamy, our terrific server was way ahead of the curve. Incredibly professional and attentive. We both had the delicious Matza Ball soup and Zahamy recommended the Nachos as an appetizer. Bingo! Monstrous serving, like huge! Warm, crispy... literally perfect, and ample sized, did I mention? Lol. Anywho, super fast service and yummy food, very reasonable prices... what's not to love?! I called in by phone later with a question and even Diana a long time manager was beyond gracious and friendly! Great place, good food, super nice people... Stop in soon to this 24 hour eatery!“

“I patronized this restaurant 4.21.24 foe the very first time. And I must say the food here wass a sin to my belly. When I say this food is AMAZING it is TRULY AMAZING. The first thing I ordered was the funnel fries and omg was I delighted when they hit my taste buds. I also ordered a cheese steak in which it was so mich meat for the money that I could only eat half. My husband had the chicken fingers and fries in which he loved. “Quick stop here for ice cream, on a week night. Great variety of flavors and lots of seating. I got the strawberry buttermilk: roasted strawberries, buttermilk and house sweet strawberry honey balsamic jam...so good, love the jam running through it and not stingy with it. We didn't even have a reservation, on a somewhat busy Friday night, but they were able to accommodate us for a last-minute table for two. One of the Managers, if not, the Manager, by the name of Charlotte, was extraordinarily delightful, courteous, friendly and very accommodating! And our server, Bailey, was every bit helpful, patient, sweet, attentive, and she was even kind enough to give us a couple of great recommendations off of their menu. “The service here is truly 5 stars, worth it to return for that attention and comfort. They have the routine down and give you the attention you want and feel special on for a night out. Definitely recommend reservations as it got major crowded in the tables and around the bar. Their cocktail list is impressive and was not disappointing in execution. We had the stuffed mushrooms to start and it was juicy though underseasoned. Their steaks were exactly what you want and I recommend the au poivre sauce as a tangy condiment. That was memorable for sure. The place overall just seems dark and outdated in furnishings, especially in the bathrooms. Their food hits the mark and service makes it worth returning.“

“I try to go to this Diner about 1-2 times a week. It's good food and they're quick. Sometimes I'll just pick up a breakfast sandwich or I'll sit down for one of their platters!Their Corned Beef Hash Platter is one of my regular dishes!I have been there for lunch, but not as much as I would have liked to.“

“One of the best brunch spots around. From the thick cut bacon to the fluffy pancakes there’s nothing you won’t like. Went for the first time a few weeks ago and have been back twice. I have yet to be disappointed by anything off the menu. Their Tres Leches French toast comes drizzled with Maple syrup, two scoops of whipped cream and loaded with blueberries and strawberries. A perfect sweet treat. The winner for me is the coconut guava cream pancakes. These are fluffy creamy and perfectly sweet. I can’t say enough about their pancakes plus I’m a sucker for guava. Their omelet is delicious and filling. The Hot Honey chicken & waffles will leave you stuffed. The sweet waffle and savory fried chicken is the perfect mix. And finally to discuss my favorite dish, the huevos Rancheros. This is hands down the best huevos rancheros I’ve had. Their chorizo is so packed with flavor and spice it makes the dish. This dish couldn’t be any more complete with its combination of chorizo, shrimp and cooling guacamole plus the two sunny side up runny eggs on top of two crispy tortillas. Highly recommend this place but warned there is a wait so be sure to make a reservation if you’re not a fan of waiting“

“Walked in on a busy Saturday evening with my wife. The place was bustling but we were able to grab two seats at the bar after waiting about 10 minutes. Sara was tending bar and she greeted us right away. We shared a steak, arugula salad, a side of onion rings, and had a couple of drinks. One of the best meals we've had in a while on datenight and Sara's service was top notch. My wife and I go to Roots often and we found the food and service better here. Atmosphere was more authentic too. Hope to be back soon.“

“This was my second time there. First time was many years ago. So, I decided to meet a friend there a couple weeks ago on a weekend. Place was mobbed! After having lunch, it was understandable why it was so crowded. I had a stuffed French toast, which was absolutely fabulous! I would definitely go back, but during the week. Since I'm retired, it's not a problem. I gave it four stars, only because I don't like crowded places, even post Covid.“

“We hosted our kiddos baptism at Savor and it was just wonderful. Our guests all raved about the food and how beautiful everything turned out. Robert and Lisa were really great to work with during the planning process and even accommodated a last minute change for us. I have tried a few different things at Savor but my favorites are definitely the rigatoni vodka and flat ironed steak. Its BYOB so don't forget that wine :)“

“LOVE this place. I am not a local but from sitting at the bar a few times, this is definitely a place that has regulars. That being said I've only sat at the bar, for drinks and shareables. The crispy fish tacos may be the best I've ever had and I've gone back for them a few times. Being that the margherita pizza is not a traditional pizza, it was still very tasty and had a nice lightness about it. As someone who doesn't typically like clams, the clams on fire has an incredible heat to them that masks the actual clam taste and I love dipping the crostini in the sauce. Like I said, I love this place and definitely would be a regular if I lived close by.“

“Stone house is a nice restaurant for cocktails and dinner. The ambiance is amazing, service was great. The food was portioned well and reasonably priced for a higher end restaurant. I was also surprised how high the prices have gotten on many of the more simple fare dishes - especially for Sunday lunch. Like $22 for a grilled chicken sandwich and almost $40 for crab cakes. We usually dine at similar restaurants but prices here seemed higher than average while dining in a tent with exposed plywood. Many times we had to search for a server and the apple cobbler in a nutshell - was terrible. It was like eating an undercooked mouthful of raw batter with cooked apples. Honestly- the house has some work to do if they want to charge these prices . I mean, I have had wonderful experiences here before, but today missed the mark.“

However, we were sat in the corner table by the fire exit which I thought was strange. We were seated and serviced right away. My wife and daughter orderes the French Onion soup which they said was really good. And, my wife ordered the stuffed mushrooms and scallops which she said was excellent. I had the mozerella sticks with the Shrimp Scampi. Both, of which were good. A decent amount of the mozerella sticks to share and the shrimp were the large size. However, I've always been confused as to why, when you're going to need to touch the shrimp, they leave the tails on. My daughter ordered the steak and shrimp which she said was really good. Overall, the wait staff was attentive and very amiable. The place was reasonably priced.Parking: For the size of the restaurant, the parking is adequate. However, the spots themselves are small-ish and if you go when it's crowded, you kind of make your own around the side.“

“This was our first time here. When we arrived there was only one other occupied table, however by the end of our meal the place was full. Delicious cocktails started our night. We got calamari and a whipped ricotta cheese dish for appetizers. These were delicious! For dinner we had the pork chop and the short rib. These were outstanding with very generous portion sizes. We finished our meal with a double espresso. Our server was pristine, lovely, knowledgeable and even offered to hold my leftovers until after a show that we were headed to after dinner. All of it was better than I thought it would be, all on point and delicious. No picks of the burrata it didn't last long enough. The quality was excellent, but I wish it came with some greens. I should have been coming here all this time.“

“In the decade I've known my husband, who grew in Mountainside and is a frequent visitor to Goodman's, he only JUST took me to try their incredible sloppy joe corned beef sandwich. I was offended he waited this long. WOW. It was worth the $18 to make it "lean" because corned beef can be fatty and these sandwiches can be heavy. This was absolutely perfect - I love the half sour & sour combo of pickles they give you on the side. Can't wait to be back!“
