“The traditional Italian sub ("#1") was reviewed as the best sub in New Jersey, and I completely agree, except for the fact that their #4 sub (hot prosciutto) might be even better. The folks there are already. Be aware, cash only. There is a small parking lot behind the building with a very narrow driveway and an onto Fairmount St, so maybe it's better to come in from that direction.“

“I’ve been coming to this Deli since I moved to Hackensack in 2014, and I’ve never trusted a deli and the people there as much as I do EVER. A deli is a deli, but everyone here is family.

They never fail in creating the perfect sandwich and they’re always sweet with the best energy. If you love a good classic deli sandwich and hot and cold lunches buffet style like the ones in NYC, this is it !! Best in NJ“

“The food is good. The owners are nice but inflation ruined this restaurant. The Midnight sampler they had was $15 when I first went there. The burger combos were around $11-13. Now the sampler is $27 and the burgers w/ fries are $16. There should be no reason a sandwich (cheesesteak) is $16 and it doesn't come with fries on the side. A plain pizza for $23 is INSANE!! If they lower their prices, this would be a better place to eat at consistently like it was a few years ago.“

“Pretty classic standard pizza it’s not perfect but taste above average the pizza doesn’t flop like a flaccid dick it holds its structure the dough has a good doughy airy texture wile having a crunch to it from the bottom but the crust sometimes is to hard like someone taking the maximum dosage of Tadalafil aka (Cialis) and Sildenafil aka (Viagra); other then that there is a good amount of toppings and flavor profile to the tomato base nice and herby overall 7.8/10“

Well, be prepared for a completely different experience here.It seems they have a unique menu every single day! The soups appear and taste like they were actually made with ingredients that were mixed together and cooked to perfection right then and there. I think I had the best chili of my life there back in December 2021.They have a pizza oven that cranks out delicious pizzas.Their grill person can crank out just about any breakfast lunch or dinner item like an old pro. I've been to so many different acidy sauce "heartburn" pizzerias, throughout the Bergen County area, and I always need Alkaseltzer, after eating their burned sauced foods. It's terrible, how they reheat and overcook their sauce. But, not this one! This place is the best! By far! Absolutely no heartburn! I have tried many menu items, too. I've been frequently going there, over a year now. Their food is more in the lines of what you'd expect to taste at a fine Italian restaurant. Certainly, not a common pizzeria. Pricing is great, too! This place and the staff of employees, along with the new owner and his kids, deserve every bit of (5) stars! The absolute best around!“

“I'm 67 years old now but when I was 9 years old my mom was a waitress at the Lido. Frank and Ellen were the original owners at the time and I would go to their house and play with their kids. I used to drive the cooks crazy, I'd walk into the kitchen and watch them cook. I used to dance in front of the mirror in the lady's room. I would sit at the bar and bug the bartender for maraschino cherries. Wonderful memories and I'm so glad to see that the Lido is still there serving the same food they did 60 years ago! Family atmosphere, great memories.“
