“This fine Italian deli has been around since 1996. I used to work up the block and came here regularly for lunch sandwiches or a homemade chicken parmesan or eggplant parmesan. I moved out of the area after retiring, and I was back visiting in Hackensack. We went here for lunch hero sandwiches. We all opted for a number 10, turkey with fresh mozzarella, roasted peppers, and balsamic vinegar. Ooooh, so good! Just like what I remember from 25 years ago. Cosmo looks the same..... just a little older! We washed the sandwiches down with Dr Brown' cream sodas. They also carry Stewart's sodas. Wow! You don't find that delicious soda in a deli often. Cosmo carries the best products! BTW: the sandwiches are loaded up with the ingredients; there's no skimping here. I totally forgot sandwich photos before I ate half, as we all dove in to eat after getting home. Parking is just behind the deli. If you're traveling down Rt 4, get off at either Main St (eastbound) or Kinderkamack Rd (westbound). I highly recommend this excellent Italian deli. It's the real deal!“

“The food is good. The owners are nice but inflation ruined this restaurant. The Midnight sampler they had was $15 when I first went there. The burger combos were around $11-13. Now the sampler is $27 and the burgers w/ fries are $16. There should be no reason a sandwich (cheesesteak) is $16 and it doesn't come with fries on the side. A plain pizza for $23 is INSANE!! If they lower their prices, this would be a better place to eat at consistently like it was a few years ago.“

“Had a hot grilled chicken on a roll, lettuce, tomato, Italian dressing. Friendly and fast service. Great sandwich. Also got a packet of chips. A few two seater tables inside. Was my lunch stop during jury duty. Just 2 minutes walk from courthouse.“

Well, be prepared for a completely different experience here.It seems they have a unique menu every single day! The soups appear and taste like they were actually made with ingredients that were mixed together and cooked to perfection right then and there. I think I had the best chili of my life there back in December 2021.They have a pizza oven that cranks out delicious pizzas.Their grill person can crank out just about any breakfast lunch or dinner item like an old pro. Their coffee actually has taste! “Courteous, family run business! Their sauce is made fresh, everyday. And it tastes like it! Wow! I've been to so many different acidy sauce "heartburn" pizzerias, throughout the Bergen County area, and I always need Alkaseltzer, after eating their burned sauced foods. It's terrible, how they reheat and overcook their sauce. But, not this one! This place is the best! By far! Absolutely no heartburn! I have tried many menu items, too. I've been frequently going there, over a year now. Their food is more in the lines of what you'd expect to taste at a fine Italian restaurant. Certainly, not a common pizzeria. Pricing is great, too! This place and the staff of employees, along with the new owner and his kids, deserve every bit of (5) stars! The absolute best around!“

“Pretty classic standard pizza it’s not perfect but taste above average the pizza doesn’t flop like a flaccid dick it holds its structure the dough has a good doughy airy texture wile having a crunch to it from the bottom but the crust sometimes is to hard like someone taking the maximum dosage of Tadalafil aka (Cialis) and Sildenafil aka (Viagra); other then that there is a good amount of toppings and flavor profile to the tomato base nice and herby overall 7.8/10“

“I'm 67 years old now but when I was 9 years old my mom was a waitress at the Lido. Frank and Ellen were the original owners at the time and I would go to their house and play with their kids. I used to drive the cooks crazy, I'd walk into the kitchen and watch them cook. I used to dance in front of the mirror in the lady's room. I would sit at the bar and bug the bartender for maraschino cherries. Wonderful memories and I'm so glad to see that the Lido is still there serving the same food they did 60 years ago! Family atmosphere, great memories.“
