“We celebrated my mother’s birthday at Kunkle’s last evening. We were a party of 7. Everything was amazing! All of us tried different dishes and just had to share with each other to show them how good each dish was. From the burger that our 15 year old devoured to the steaks and seafood entrees the rest of us enjoyed, everything was perfect. The calamari may very well be the best I have ever tasted. The desserts were to die for! This may have been our first visit but most definitely will not be our last.“

“In a time where society has us feeling like we’re in survival mode due to the economy. All the pressures of the holidays etc…it’s amazing to dine at a place that takes it away even if only for a moment. My family and I decided to have thanksgiving dinner here this year and we cannot express enough how great of an experience it was. From the moment we stepped through the door every team member set the example on a fine dining experience. We did get to speak with the manager I believe her name was Jennifer. She ensured our experience was nothing less the extraordinary. These things were the cherry on the top because the Rodizio was absolutely amazing, as it always is!!!! They definitely added an amazing Thanksgiving menu to go along with the Rodizio (turkey, Mac & cheese etc). Hats off to this team!!!! “We ordered a medium steak at this restaurant, but both steaks we received were almost well-done. It was clearly overcooked and we pointed this out to our server. She cut into the center of the meat, acknowledged it immediately, and made me a new steak. The new meat was a satisfactory medium cooked steak. After that, the manager came and checked again to make sure there was no problem.
Overall, I think the service here is top notch. The distance between seats is appropriate, so it's not uncomfortable, and the interior is also great. I just think the quality of the steak taste wasn't as great as I expected. I think it's a great place to go to set the mood for a special day, or just have a glass of wine with a light menu. However, if your goal is to experience the best steak taste, we recommend going elsewhere.“

Our most recent server, Jay was incredibly attentive and made sure to go out of her way to make sure I got exactly what I asked for and had wonderful conversation with us throughout the meal. “The foods good, some of the steak was a bit dry but not too bad. Salad bar is really good. Only downside was that service wasn’t that great. May have been an off day, but hostess with the short brown hair was kind of unwelcoming, she seemed kind of annoyed but it was busy so she may have been overwhelmed. My server was good she disappeared at times and drinks took a little long to come out. Overall pretty good, food is good so will be coming back.“

“I had an amazing meal at this restaurant! Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. We started off with the ribeye pinwheels appetizer, and they were a real treat—perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. For the main course, I went with the ribeye with mashed potatoes, and it was fantastic. The steak was so tender and juicy, and the mashed potatoes were creamy and flavorful, a great match for the ribeye. My friend had the filet mignon with a house salad, and it was cooked perfectly too. The filet was so tender and full of flavor, and the salad was fresh and crisp.

Everything came out just as we hoped—cooked to perfection and full of flavor. It was a great dining experience, and I can’t wait to come back and try more dishes from the menu!“

“As always, an absolutely wonderful meal. The lobster crab cake appetizer was AMAZING!!! Of course, the Filet, Lambchops, and sides were top notch. Our reservation was for 5:30 and the restaurant was packed all night, with a line when we were leaving. There's a reason for that. The Capital Grille is TOP NOTCH!!!“

“Food was good and priced reasonably. Staff friendly and service was quick. Parking was bad though, couldn't find anything close by. Ended up just parking across the street where it said Truck loading/unloading only and went in to grab the order. This appears to be what most people are doing too.

Restroom is down the hall, take the elevator down to the basement, and to your left. You can get the code from the security guard on the first floor.“

“Excellent service by the whole team at Deptford Longhorn Steakhouse. Booked online & arrived 20 minutes, so we decided to take the open seat at the bar to watch the Phillies game. I didn’t get the name of the young man who was the host, but he was very accommodating. The two women bartenders Moe & Amy were busy, & still on their game the whole time. Nicole the manager was the best. She heard me talking about wanting to try the ribs and hooked us up with 1/2 a rack of crispy on the outside and oh so tender pork ribs. Filet was flavorfull and tensor too. Outstanding food &
service all around. We will definately be back.“

“We’ve lived in Gloucester for 4 years and never tried this place. Husband and I went for a date night/celebrate my new job and we were very impressed! The decor is adorable. The owner caught me taking pictures of the bar, and he gave me some history on it, the tin ceiling tiles, the vintage light fixtures, and the history of the building. I had a chocolate martini that was delicious, husband had a Manhattan. We shared calamari and crème brûlée, and we both got the special of filet mingon topped with a crab cake. Everything was perfect and delicious. Our server was was also 10/10. I had no idea this little gem was just a few blocks away from our house. Didn’t even have to get in the car! We will absolutely be back. Would love to try some other things on the menu. Was so pleasantly surprised a place like this exists in this area. A true diamond in the rough!“

Longhorn has always had my favorite steak compared to their competitors and this time was no different- perfect seasonings, perfect medium rare cook, absolutely perfect! Don’t even get me started on the chocolate stampede, it was beyond delicious and more than enough to split between 2 people… honestly it could be split between more than two and for the price that’s wonderful!“

I was a lillte disappointed by the "spiked" lemonade as it didnt seem to contain any alcohol. Overall I enjoyed my experience and would recommend the restaurant to others.“

The only disappointment was the lack of several menu items due to the upcoming closing of the restaurant.“
