“I was never a big fan of cheesesteaks until I had one from Bobs! It was the absolute best. I tell everyone from out of town to go here over any other place they’ve heard about! I even travelled to Maryland with one for my dad and 4 hours later, it was still just as good!!!! My dad couldn’t stop talking about it. If you haven’t already I definitely recommend you go ahead and get a steak. You won’t regret it!“

“I like Johnny Longhots. The food is consistently decent and they are very friendly. That said, there ARE a couple things I'm not crazy about.
*$11.00 for 3 meatballs is a little excessive.
*The place could use a good scrubbing...the floor in the dining room area for one...especially in the corners.
*parking in this plaza is the worst! Especially for the handicapped ♿.
Now that I've said this out loud , I probably won't go there again, lol.“

“This is Rocco's ! What's there to say ? As always nothing short of fast friendly and deliciously fabulous. Over 50 years family business. What's there to say besides fast, friendly and caring community icons. It's Rocco's steaks delicious fresh high quality and the Italian Hoagie is the absolute best I have ever had.( Well, actually have had repeatedly over and over and delicious every time ) I just cannot bring myself to get one from anywhere else. High quality fresh meats made correctly. They also serve many other foods and breakfast items at good prices. A popular neighborhood staple but if you don't live in the direct area definitely worth a little ride for take out. ♥️ They are take out and delivery but they do have a small counter seating and both that many like to frequent.“

“I have been wanting to try this place for a while and when I remember they are either closed or sold out (I’m late to everything lol) Well we finally ordered today. My husband had the plain steak (he’s so boring🤣🤣) I had the Broadstreet and my son had the BG55. OMG, everything was delicious!! And the rolls were filled! No skimping on the meat here! “We traveled to Hershey, Pennsylvania for the Labor Day Week/Weekend from North Carolina. We tried a couple other cheese-steaks, by far Sonny’s Cheese Steaks were the best! Hope to one day make the 8 1/2 hour trip again! Fries were good too wit wiz!“

“Best place for a cheese steak but to tell the truth all their sandwiches are fantastic. And they are always adding newer items. Always the best quality too! While most restaurants may not be as good as they used to be, it is the opposite for Tony & Nick's. They started at a very high level and seemed to exceed it.“

“When it comes to Philly cheesesteaks, I only knew the big names — Geno's Steaks and Pat's King of Steaks. When my cousin visited from the West Coast, one of my coworkers recommended we try Ishkabibble's too. We ended up tasting all three on the same day for a proper comparison, and Ishkabibble's came out on top.
The cheesesteak here was genuinely the best of the bunch — great flavor, quality ingredients, and clearly made with care. It was only later that I found out it's actually been featured on one of the Netflix shows, which honestly didn't surprise me at all.

“One word, Fantastic! Also huge with terrific ingredients and roll. Went with the cheese with onions which did not disappoint. Huge line and crowd but process was efficient and sandwich arrived faster than expected.

Tons of options here with something for everyone. Went on a Sunday afternoon with some places closed but still plenty of options for any taste. Fun place but crowded. Fortunately atmosphere is chill and venue is worth exploring and definitely worth a trip! Am guessing a lot of locals come here for all the great options.“

“After a long bus ride, I found myself hungry and distraught. I only had fifteen minutes to find dinner, and the closest Dunkin had already closed. Out of the corner of my eye, a red Philly Steak and Pizzeria sign glimmered ethereally, like an angel who departed from heaven to bless the churning city. Pizza would be convenient and filling, I thought to myself as I turned to cross the street and headed toward the restaurant. A kind gentleman greeted me as I entered through the talk glass doors and ordered a slice of pepperoni. This request prompted him to remove a slice from the display and slide it smoothly into the cavernous oven beside him. Its warmth brushed by me as he closed the oven door.

I watched the cars drive and people mosey by; all engulfed in the rush and clamor of the city street.

Pepperoni! The gentleman suddenly called, as I turned to see the warm slice lying gracefully on a paper plate and napkins that he held.

Thank you so much! I said, as I hurriedly grabbed the plate and headed to the door. Of course. Have a great night! He replied as I exited and headed straight back to Jefferson station.

As I waited for my train, I savoured the delicate slice I held—the wholesome crust layered with delicate tomato sauce and exquisite cheese—adorned with perfectly seasoned pepperoni on top. I finished the slice as my train came, and boarded with a full belly and a smile.“
