“We did a Sunday Funday at cake and kitchen. The food, service, and atmosphere for all perfect. Our waiter whose name was Colin was excellent. We highly recommend this location for cool drinks and a great menu.“

“The Love. was simply incredible! We came here with our 6 year old son. Our waiter was fabulous and very accommodating to our 6 year old which you don’t always find in Rittenhouse. The atmosphere was light and airy and the food was great! Make sure to try their Dubai Chocolate Sundae and if you’re going with children they do have special kids cups and will accommodate the menu for them.“

“My wife and I came here for our date night Friday for half price pasta happy hour. We were greeted at the door by owner Wyatt who was very welcoming and passionate about his menu. He suggested the hen which came out sizzling with a crisp skin that bursted into a juicy body when I cut into it.
My wife and I split two pasta dishes which were perfect portions to share. We also got a cheese plate and some fun mocktails on our server’s recommendation. All the staff was working together and we had a great time sharing in all the goodies.
Great overall experience, will definitely be back!“

“This past year I had to private events at Lamp Post, one brunch, one dinner. I can't begin to say how wonderful both was. The staff goes well above and beyond with everything and the food was great. You can't beat the price.“

Went for the vegetarian friendly French Onion soup, ordered half the menu LOL chef also accommodated our two year old. Everything we had was absolutely delicious with the exception of the vegan Philly cheesesteak, that thing needs some love.“

“VERY,VERY BUSY PLACE. I was by myself because I was on a business trip first night which was Friday and could not get a seat at the bar. So I opted to come back the next evening and got a seat. The bartenders were very friendly and very knowledgeable of what they were serving. Joked around and had a good time and seemed like their jobs. I got a ribeye steak with mashed potatoes. Those cooked perfection even when I asked them to make sure the steak was dry. I can always tell what kind of meat facility serves when you don't put anything like steak, butter or spices on it. You should not have to do that. And I'm telling you that the steak was a very prime, a good grade of steak. Overall, that atmosphere was great. A little dark for my taste but that's what you get when you go to a place like this. If you're going to visit here, plan to make sure that you see that they're going to be on a wait no matter what. Can't wait to go back. In fact, I'll probably be the one in Florida in a few weeks“

“We had a very good lunch at Stir after viewing the Special exhibit at the museum. It is a much calmer space than the museum Cafe, and the table service was attentive. The menu was somewhat limited, but all 5 of us found something to order and enjoy. It was a lovely break from the bustle of the museum. I highly recommend for adults visiting the museum.“

“The place itself was beautiful the host to the waitress was very friendly and didn’t mind a conversation. Everything was delicious to the appetizers to the courses. The only thing that wasn’t great was the NY stripe aged steak. I asked for it to be cooked medium rare but this was the worst chewy steak I ever had. I saved majority of it to see if I could fix it at home but no luck. Just not the best quality steak and was hoping it was due to grill being in the name. They only charged $8 bucks for that little dollop of butter on top of the steak. The best thing we had was the scallops they are to die for! They melt in your mouth and the flavor was fantastic. I would come again just wouldn’t get their steak again.“

“My husband and I came here to celebrate our 5-year wedding anniversary. I have Celiac, so I need to adhere to a strict gluten free diet. Michael was extremely accommodating and even mentioned that he prepared the entire menu to be gluten free for all guests that evening since he was aware of my dietary needs ahead of time. Each dish surpassed the next in deliciousness. We're already planning our next visit. Absolutely fantastic meal, incredible service, intimate atmosphere. Can't recommend enough!“

The food was delicious, grand seafood plateau was generous, oysters were incredible, the fish N'duja was out of this world as was the tiradido. “Caeser like salad” is something I'll dream about having again. Fried oyster BLT was a treat that took me on a visit to the Gulf coast. Dessert- what a perfect end- it was a banana coconut something and blew my mind. “I recently celebrated a milestone birthday with a dinner at Elwood with family and friends. Chef Adam and Jenny were wonderful to work with and the meal was absolutely delicious. Everyone loved the venison scrapple amuse bouche. We shared several orders of perogies and cheese platters to kick off the meal, followed by a couple of orders of the tri- tip beef, the sea bass, and the rabbit, which are served family style with a whole host of accompaniments, including exceptional mashed potato that got rave reviews and deserves it's own mention. Several of the diners had never had rabbit, but they all tried it and it was a hit! I already have plans to come with some friends for an afternoon tea, and my husband and I will definitely be back for dinner and/or one of the dining events that Chef Adam hosts. Adam & Jenny, thank you for my birthday dinner one to remember!💖“

“We had a good, not great meal here. For the price (which was considerable) we were definitely expecting a bit more. The cocktails were great and the service great, the food was a bit underwhelming. We went with the tasting menu instead of a la carte and found the dishes good, but not anything particularly special. They were very accommodating with an allergy which was very nice. I'd like to try the bar menu but probably don't need another dining room experience.“

“I would love to give this restaurant 10+ stars. Never have I had such delicious food. Every mouthful of every dish was pure heaven! This was a birthday treat for my friend. We shared 6 small plates. I don't know which was THE best one. We started with drinks. He had the King Vidi and I the Shadowboxin. Both were expertly made. We then proceeded to enjoy Roasted oysters,Satsuma Mandarin salad, Tagliatelle, Foie Gras, Grilled Prawns and Grilled Broccoli. Every dish was spectacular and seasoned well. The accompanying sauces were smooth and velvety. We ended sharing a Chocolate Caramel Tart. My only issue was being seated next to the entrance where it was drafty whenever a new customer entered. I want to come back and try another selection of small plates. What a wonderful experience
