“Hands down best soulfood joint in Philly. The trinity egg roll by itself did back flips in my mouth with all the different flavors. The fried chicken was perfectly fried to a crisp. The sauce that came with the catfish was dangerously close to being an addictive substance. The drinks are crazy as well so come and try it out if you dare.“

“Had sweet food cravings! Their cookies and cream ice cream, butter pecan ice cream, and vanilla cake were so delicious. Can’t wait to try more cake and ice cream flavors.
The food is delicious too! I’ve tried the wraps, chkn salad, and hoagies and highly recommend. Also tried both soups, “fish” stew, drumsticks, jerk chickpeas and curry chickpeas, and chkn with gravy which were DELICIOUS. favorite sides are cabbage, collard greens, and Mac n cheese.“

“I had the Ribs and chicken….the signature sauce is the way to go. The greens and Mac and cheese were 🔥 My wife got the brisket sliders and loved them and the potato salad. Our server was super friendly and I almost forgot the cornbread lol amazing. I’m not sure how this place slipped under my fat guy radar 😂“

“The food is excellent, the service on a scale from 1 to 5 I’d give a 3 . The wait is entirely too long. I was told they were going to call me when the food was ready. They never call after a 45 minute wait. I went to the place, and when I arrived to get my food, and informed them that I was never call , Her reply was oh !!! we were going to call sooner or later and laughed and play it off .“

“I didn't get to taste the food because one of her workers had a bad attitude. When dealing with the public professionalism is a must. I could have referred a lot of people that don't know it's there. Your tea was very good and I hope your service gets better. A vegetarian platter would be nice also.“

“My Brother took Me there, 10/12/2025. Im a Chef, and this establishment!!!! Five Star, the Turkey Wings, Full of Flavor. Collard Greens, seasoned just right and Mac & Cheese was awesome. Definitely get the Strawberry Banana Pudding. This is My ew Spot.“

“Millie’s Kitchen is a hidden gem in Downtown Camden. I found it while searching for a place to eat before an event and was blown away by the experience. Millie herself greeted me, answered my questions, and made me feel welcome from the start.
The food was delicious, the portions were generous, and the service was exceptional. The fact that Millie personally came out to ask how I enjoyed my meal was the perfect finishing touch. Great food, great people, and outstanding hospitality. 5 stars! I highly recommend!“

“I'm a SERIOUS fan of Tay's Soul Food! The fried Whiting and mac and cheese are OFF THE HOOK! The yams and string beans are perfection! I call ahead and pull up. Easy contactless pickup during the pandemic! Give her a call if you want some soul food but don't feel like cooking. *Only thing is, you need to pay cash in the exact amount if you don't use apple ipay.“

“Came into Philly after a long flight and needed sustenance. I got the whiting fish platter that comes with 2 sides for $18 and it was great portions and hit the spot! Was too hungry did not take a pic but includes 2 fillets. Deborah was very kind and it’s a small spot but super warm!!“

“Me and my husband was on a inventory run for our soul food restaurant located in Johnstown pa we literally Rode by this spot my husband said make a u turn when he went in for a menu he was instantly excited to see it was black owned business after calling me into the restaurant the owner greatly blessed us with a seafood salad potato salad & this blue juice omg the best highly recommended this spot great customer service food smells so good in you can tell it’s cooked with LOVE…..“

“I took 2 bites out of the Mac n cheese. Instantly picked my phone up and had to leave a review. This is Sunday afternoon grandma back in the day Mac and cheese.
