“The first meal we had as we were visiting the city. The xiao long baos hit the spot. The forbidden ribs are good to the bones. The place is neat and cutely decorated. Staff is personable. We totally had a great experience here. So worth it after a whole day of travel.“

“All the rave reviews are true! I visited with a friend from out of town and we had a feast of our favorites. Nearly everything on the menu is vegan, and it was hard to choose! The lunch special is a fantastic value and includes soup and a spring roll. We chose the miso soup, which we agreed is the most flavorful we've ever had. The staff are friendly and really helpful, and the food came out really fast - truly cooked to order. And, as if that weren't enough, the prices are incredibly reasonable. 10/10. I can't wait to go back!“

“When I saw how affordable this spot was, I wasn’t expecting to be wow’d by the food but oh my goodness it was good! I got the chicken chow mein, pork dumplings in chili oil and the crunchy spicy cucumber. The heat levels were perfect (I got medium for the chow mein and dumplings, and the recommended level for the salad). I could still taste all the flavors but my mouth was coated perfectly in sichuan. The balance of sweetness and aromatics in everything - especially the pork dumplings - was delicious.
The staff was friendly, the wait time was short, the food was fresh.
I will absolutely be coming back and you should too :)“

“I love their Big Buns! Being a Filipino, my favorite dimsum is Bola Bola siopao (a bun stuffed with pork, chinese sausage and salted egg) which I found out is not available here locally. But when I discovered Bao Mama, they sell Big Buns which is quite similar to a Bola Bola siopao! I was hooked! Plus the Big Buns ARE HUGE and has a generous amount of filling! I just love them! I am also looking forward to try their other products.“

“The food at Ji Bei Chuan was delicious, and we were not disappointed. It’s a small, cozy place with very good service. The owner was always checking on the guests and making sure everyone was satisfied. You can tell they really care about their customers. “The food was very tasty! The Natukodi Biryani and Karepaku Chicken were awesome, definitely must try items. The manager, AJ, was very friendly and did a great job recommending some good dishes.
The portions were also very generous and definitely better than before. The spice level was just right. I also tried the Lamb Chops, which were really good.
Overall, a great experience. Definitely worth trying!“

“This place is amazing I gotta say we’ve went here 1000 times and out of 1000 times the food’s always been good the Service 998 times has always been good. There’s that two times that the service wasn’t good. When was the last time the girl was just something else and then it was one other time we had another girl that she was just crazy other than that, the service has always been good. The manager Matthew he always comes to the table. How are you doing? Is there anything you need sometimes if the waiter or waitress is busy he comes and brings you your food. It is a wonderful place. Wonderful. I would suggest if you haven’t been here yet go there.“

“The chicken frames are full of great flavour. In my opinion, their braised chicken with brown sauce tastes even better than dedicated braised‑chicken chain restaurants — definitely give it a try!
If you can handle spicy food, go for extra‑hot on the grilled skewers. They taste fantastic.“
“Been wanting to try this place for years and finally made it today! The fried gizzards were good—perfectly cooked and not tough or chewy. The cheesesteak egg rolls were decent too. Glad I finally got to try it!

“Had an amazing dinner here! Everything was delicious, we had the wontons in chili oil, pork and Crab soup dumplings, fried rice, sautéed green beans and beef noodle soup. Truly everything was so good. Service was good and the restaurant itself is really nice and spacious. This will definitely be my new spot for dim sum and Chinese food!“

“Maybe the only spot in Chinatown that serves the sweet (or savory) tofu dessert! I’ve come here many times for that and the pork & vegetable buns. Both are so satisfying and hit the mark every time! I recommend this little spot to anyone craving nostalgic Chinese breakfast treats!“

“Delicious standard Chinese food, but this place shines with their Thai options as well! The Chicken Tom Yum soup is amazing and the Thai Chicken Singapore noodle was fantastic. Also had the Chinese eggplant in garlic sauce. All were great! Note: unlike most local Chinese spots, when this place says the dish is spicy they mean it! Great dinner and quick delivery.“
