“Have had dinner there several times with friends and everyone has always been most complimentary of meals served. I have personally enjoyed the shrimp and scallops as well as stuffed flounder. Also ordered for take out catering trays of chicken and penne vodka for a family event which were wonderful. Great place with a strong menu and terrific meals. Also ordered several catered dinners for my family including chicken Marcella and penne vodka.“

“I’m a SJ native and have been going to Scotto with my girlfriend for about 5 years. It is hands down the best pizza around. We will drive well out of our way to get it. It’s a travesty that all of these “best pizza” lists don’t choose it as it should be better known. Look at the reviews.

If you want brick oven pizza or a fancy sit down, yes that is not here. But Scotto is the place to get the best pizza.“

“My family brought me here for the 1st time to celebrate my birthday. Beautiful place with delicious food and cozy atmosphere but when I went to my car I realized that I forgot my gift bag and card (with a gift card inside) that my children gave me there. I went back to get it and the table had already been cleaned. I asked my waiter about it. He went to the back and came out saying he couldn’t find it. After about 10 minutes the manager came out with just the card(out of the envelope with no gift card) and said this was all he could find in the linens. I left very upset . I asked him to check the cameras. He called me back a few minutes later and said he found the gift bag. I went back in to get it but still no gift card! I continued to ask him how the card came out of the envelope? He stepped away again and came back with the gift card. Told Me he threatened the staff with the cameras! Very disappointing!!“

“Absolutely love love love this restaurant. Every thing was delicious! this place is old school Italian. I had linguine Bolognese and it came out in this huge white bowl. I couldn’t stop eating it. It tastes like the bolognese I had in Rome.The staff are excellent and on top of it. Very friendly. We were very well taken care of. And I absolutely loved the piano player. “I have been very pleased with this restaurant in Mays Landing, saw this was in Moorestown while in the area, and stopped in for lunch. It wasn’t easy to find with GPS. It’s closer to Boscov’s, but GOS had me on the other end of the mall. The salad is really special , fresh and delish. I had sandwich like a cheesesteak with eggplant in it. I really like the idea of that better than the actual sandwich but it was good - not greats. I would come back to try some other options on the menu.“

If you come across this review and have never tried it, trust me, it is worth the few dollars to give it a shot.I've eaten here since I was in 6th or 7th grade, about age 12-13. Every Friday night and sometimes Saturday I'd sit on the steps out front and we'd all share food. 15 years later it's still the original crew!!If you are reading this and you have had their delicious food (chicken parm with gooey cheese and crispy chicken and roll, or their SPICY FRIES!!!) “Stopped on our way home from the Columbus flea market. The outside appearance almost discouraged me from entering. But we're glad we did. The guy who served us (I assume the owner) was very pleasant and the pizza was very good with a good crust! We finished off a large cheese pizza with our grandkids. We'll stop by again!“

“We have had the most delicious gourmet pizzas from this place (Buffalo and The Works) Also, their chicken wings with the mild wing sauce is the right amount of tangy and spicy. My husband says, " it's the best wing sauce he's ever had!" Highly recommend!“
