“Had the best dining experience at Eddie V's! They were extremely accommodating and a very pleasant staff (especially our waiter Jason).
Basically there was an error in my order and without complaining or making a big deal about it the chef, manager and waiter went above and beyond to correct and make the situation right.
The customer service was impeccable and I would definitely come back to dine at Eddie V's!
Also I know they are known for seafood dishes, but the steak was delicious and NEXT LEVEL!“

“I NEVER do reviews lol I don’t think average people ever do in my opinion which is why I never really trust reviews and wasn’t gonna eat here last night when my homie tried to convince me because they had decent reviews lol BUT LET ME TELL YOU! I’m so happy I took the chance with them, the food was fire affff! & the chef cooking it look like he know what he doing & when I asked for my shrimp well done it came out cooked perfect not too raw & not overcooked. Rice was fire steak cooked perfect & chicken was amazing too . On top of that the food prices are unbeatable. If this spot ever got a huge marketing sponsor , they would put Benihana & all other Asian restaurants out of business. I like eating at el puerto in Harlem New York a lot but after coming here I might start coming here instead of driving all the way to NY and save the puertos for when I’m in the city lol

“The trout is the best in the area. The servers can be unprofessional and rude. When asked to tie back their hair, the request was refused. A nonsense response of not required was insulting. As an experienced service trainer, the hair in question should have been restraining. Health department requirements override a servers vain attitude.“

“My brothers and I hosted our dad’s 60th birthday in one of the private rooms upstairs. Maria took care of us and service was incredible all night! We chose the 3 course sit down menu and family style appetizers which were all incredible. I highly recommend coming here for a private event and will be back soon to try the rest of the menu!“

“Seafood Birthday Bash!
Went to this restaurant for my uncles birthday. He doesn’t eat chicken or steak so seafood is his favorite. Caldwell Seafood Market & Cafe was an obvious choice because of the pictures and the fact it was a fresh seafood market just stood out to me. It did not disappoint either! We were a group of 10 people and ordered everything our heart desired and spent $579. We ordered 3 orders of fried calamari which was nice and crispy and they even had a ginger sauce which is different. We tried the hot and spicy shrimp which had a great sauce to dip the complementary bread in. We ordered 5 bowls of New England clam chowder. I felt it was watery and not as seasoned as I am used to but we enjoyed it anyway. They forgot a bowl of soup but we won’t hold it against them. We all ordered entrees and most of us got a dessert! We left full and satisfied!
Knowing my family we love to eat and we are all reviewers at heart and are not afraid to say what we do not like. Everyone loved their food from the appetizers to the dessert and we were surprised at how fast the food came and how fresh it was. The waiter was very attentive as well. We didn’t need a reservation when we came in at 3pm and were the only ones there. Surprising it was not packed for a Saturday afternoon but started to fill up as we left.
Overall this restaurant gets a 5/5 because the experience was great, the waiter was very nice and accommodating, the food was piping hot and everyone was pleased even the kids who aren’t really seafood fans.

“I Sent my friend a Johnny's pizza for his 70th birthday last week. Unbeknownst to me, my friend was in the hospital during that time. I called Johnny's and advised them of this and they very graciously Sent a free pizza, celebrating my friends healthy return home. My old friend just finished the pizza, and shared it was delicious. “Drove from Orange County,New York. FRESH fish and seafood at very reasonable prices. Will even cook you a fish fry. Bought mussels, clams, live crabs, calamari, and salmon. Only issue was the salmon was not deboned at all, but I'm still rating 5 stars!“

“Food was ok. Seafood boil was not that great. Corn was mushy, shrimp was , potatoes were a little hard, eggs were missing most of the white because I guess they couldn't peel it and one egg was not hard boiled . Whiting fish sandwich was not that good. My daughter liked the lobster roll though. Very hot in the restaurant, with flies.“

“After months of hearing Chengdu 23 advertised on 105.5 WDHA, my wife and I decided to try it this evening. we were not disappointed! From the minute we walked in the door, our experience was 100% positive. The service was fast, courteous, and intuitive. The food was sublime. “Had the catfish poboy at uptown night Market! They told me 15 minutes was done in 15 minutes. It was a large fried catfish filet and it was perfectly crispy. I think the tartar sauce may have needed a little more salt but overall great experience. Reminded me of Louisiana“

“Wow, what a great restaurant ?
This was our first time here and we were blown away with how wonderful EVERYTHING was.
We went here for the wife's birthday and they had set up a special table just for the two of us.
Whoever designed the decor did a great job with the colors, etc. They made one completely forget about the surrounding neighborhood. While it's not a bad area, it's just not really picturesque by any means.
Wonderful fresh rolls and a super pesto spread started the meal. Next I had a mushroom soup to die for and definitely unlike any other I have had before.
For dinner, my wife had the pork chop which was delicious and cooked perfectly. I had the short ribs with a light brown sauce, mushrooms, spinach and mashed potatoes, which was great, to say the least.
We shared the First "mounds" which was vanilla ice cream, dark chocolate and coconut and should not be missed. Lastly I want to mention that the waiter and the rest of the wait staff were all courteous, accommodating and very professional. We felt that they were among the best we have encountered in our area by far.
We will definitely be dining here again in the coming weeks and I would suggest that anyone living in Bergen county or northern NJ should do the same. EXCELLENT ?
