“We tried No. 12 as a new restaurant for a date night. We enjoyed the mystery of how to enter and were pleasantly surprised by the ambiance. Our appetizers and meal selections were delicious as we tried the ceviche, empanadas, quinoa salad, and octopus. I was happy that they were able to accommodate me as I am dairy and gluten free. We will definitely be back.“

“We started going to this restaurant just last year and our server at that time Alexis really took great care of us. Ever since then we fell in love with the place. We always requested for Alexis but last night we had a different server named Eric and he was also very great and very attentive. The host stand, server, and the manager really made my boyfriend and I 9 year anniversary dinner special and we couldn't be any happier. The food was amazing and we always get the 22 oz prime bone in ribeye and the truffled Mac and cheese and it has been our go to meal and of course they have the most amazing oysters! They have a great variety of specialty drinks and wines that pairs very well with the food. This is a very highly recommended place and they have gained new regulars!“

“The trout is the best in the area. The servers can be unprofessional and rude. When asked to tie back their hair, the request was refused. A nonsense response of not required was insulting. As an experienced service trainer, the hair in question should have been restraining. Health department requirements override a servers vain attitude.“

“If you haven't been to Q Grill in Fort Lee yet, you are seriously missing out. We had an great meal, but a few dishes absolutely stole the show.
The experience started off strong because the banchan was incredibly plentiful, giving us so many great sides to taste. A huge standout was the kimchi, it tasted so fresh yet beautifully and well-fermented, hitting that perfect balance of crunch and tang. For the main event, we opted for the Trinity Wagyu combination, and it was spectacular. The beef was incredibly velvety, rich, and luxurious. To call it tender is an understatement—every single bite practically melted in my mouth, packed with that premium, juicy flavor you only get from high-quality Wagyu cuts.
The JapChae was executed perfectly with that ideal, bouncy chew and a beautifully balanced, savory-sweet sesame soy sauce. We also ordered the spicy rice cakes with cheese, which were the ultimate comfort food—perfectly chewy with just the right amount of kick, smothered in melted, gooey cheese.

“My kids and I absolutely love this place. The hibachi dinners and fried rice are amazing and the portion is very generous. One hibachi dinner feeds me and two of my kids and the prices are very reasonable. The family is very kind. The kids are there helping out and they do a great job. We are regular customers and would recommend this place to anyone!“

We visited for a family gathering and were shown to a private room; the service was attentive, and they kept refilling the delicious side dishes.
The sashimi was fresh, as was all the seafood. There was a wide variety of tasty accompanying dishes, and the staff were all friendly.
The aged kimchi was particularly outstanding—the assorted sashimi paired with it was truly delicious.
The portions were so generous that they even packed up the spicy fish stew for us to take home.
It was a truly enjoyable and delicious meal.

“From the moment we walked in, the host greeted us like old friends and walked us right to our table — I instantly had a good feeling, and I was right. Our server was awesome — super friendly, knew the menu inside out, and was on top of everything all night.

The menu is classic Italian but with a twist — way more interesting than your standard North Jersey Italian spot. The ossobuco was fantastic (if I had to nitpick, I’d say the risotto could’ve used a touch less water and a heavier hand with the parm). The clams were fresh and baked to perfection, and my son devoured his ravioli. For dessert, the bread pudding was absolutely unreal — honestly worth the trip alone.

The sushi is amazing, among my favorites are the Mango Tango roll, Tiger roll, Tri Color roll and Tuna Amazing! The appetizers are small enough portions to try everything without waste!! It’s All You Can Eat, so easy to order more of what you like! But perfect sized appetizers so you don’t fill up before the sushi arrives! The sushi is always fresh and plentiful and the staff’s attention to details is unmatched. When the owners truly care about their customers, it shows and is appreciated! I have sent at least 20 friends to their restaurant who are now loyal customers on their own!! Thank you AJ’s for going above and beyond!“

The seafood is fried to perfection - but it could use some salt. If they start making their own tartar sauce and hot sauce, this place is gonna be packed!

Still worth a visit, although I would just stick to the seafood until they start tightening up the sides with more experience cooking soul food staples.

The food is consistently delicious, the portions are generous, and the staff always makes you feel welcome. It’s a true neighborhood gem with that warm, familiar atmosphere that’s getting harder to find these days. Whether it’s pizza, pasta, or a full family dinner, I’ve never had a bad experience.
