Sometimes all a girl wants is some oysters! I’ve been eyeing this place for awhile when visiting the city and finally took a chance to go. Very classy inside with a nice bar off to the left. I did one of each oyster and they were every bit worth the price briny, meaty and ohh so good. I really enjoyed just myself, my oysters and a little happy dance after each bite. If you like fresh and quality look no further this is the spot. I was able to walk in, get a table and get down to business.“

“The best Korean cold noodle in Manhattan—and maybe all of NYC! They’re Pyongyang-style cold noodles served in a mild, delicate broth. The noodles have a high buckwheat content. I would rank them alongside some of the top-tier, authentic cold noodle houses in South Korea. A little more generous amount of garnish would be great, though.

Hwangtae hot noodles come in a clean, delicate, yet flavorful broth, finished with fresh perilla oil. I could tell high-quality ingredients (pollock and perilla oil) were used.

I truly enjoyed them. The sides and appetizers were high quality as well. I would visit this place again.“

“The cocktail selection is phenomenal, it’s balanced and delicious, even the people sat next to us agreed! My favorite dish is probably stuffed farfalle with snow crab. It’s creamy and just the right amount of crab, flour and sauce to balance each bite! You’ll be amazed!! Another go to is definitely steak. It’s lightly fried on the outside but juicy inside which is not overly oily, spicy crunch on top adds an Asian style kick. A gem place for sure!!💕“

“They just revamped their menu and I’m all here for it! My favorites were the rice noodle rolls wrapped with tofu, bean sprouts, bamboo shoots, shiitake mushrooms, carrots and preserved radish, Thai beef stew and the Panang short ribs. The beef stew was SO tender and collagen rich, literally every bite was melt in your mouth. Short ribs, also as expected, tender and flavorful. The Thai ice cream was a perfect finish - sweet toppings, cold coconut ice cream, warm pandan sticky rice - all different flavors and textures but all work together in harmony.“

“We started going to this restaurant just last year and our server at that time Alexis really took great care of us. Ever since then we fell in love with the place. We always requested for Alexis but last night we had a different server named Eric and he was also very great and very attentive. The host stand, server, and the manager really made my boyfriend and I 9 year anniversary dinner special and we couldn't be any happier. The food was amazing and we always get the 22 oz prime bone in ribeye and the truffled Mac and cheese and it has been our go to meal and of course they have the most amazing oysters! They have a great variety of specialty drinks and wines that pairs very well with the food. This is a very highly recommended place and they have gained new regulars!“

“After eating so much (pizza etc )we needed to eat something different, spicy and booked this gem,as it as near to our hotel. It was also our 40th wedding anniversary. We are from U.K. This was amazing perfectly cooked tasty home made authentic Indian cuisine. We had mocktails ( lavender was refreshing ). The tandoori lamb chops x4 were full meat seasoned beautifully and delicious. All other sides perfect too. Now in U.K. we hate restaurant Indian puddings they are usually bought in and awful/failure. After finding out the chef is the owner and a recipient Michelin star we were convinced to stay,try and this was the first time we have had authentic home made puddings; try Kulfi with rose water & also Indian rice pudding. The whole meal was exceptional great value and we will recommend this restaurant to anyone else visiting New York. Easy to find off Times Square /Broadway. Thanks for the rendition “ congratulations “ for our 40th. You are great ! A little gem of authenticity in big New York !“

“I went to the original Chef’s Table at Brooklyn Fare with a close friend, back when the U-shaped counter sat behind the market. It remains by far the most expensive meal I’ve ever had, and in hindsight, it was worth it. More than 20 courses arrived, mostly seafood, and nearly everything felt light, fresh, and incredibly precise. The setting made it even more memorable because something so ambitious was happening behind an otherwise ordinary grocery store.

By the end of the wine pairing, I was inebriated enough that the final courses became a little hazy. The chef was intense and completely professional, but never performative. He was simply executing at the highest possible level and treating the meal with the seriousness its price demanded.

The experience seems to have evolved considerably since then, so take this review with a grain of salt. We absolutely loved the original version of this place. I walked out blown away and would highly recommend it to anyone prepared for the cost.“

“What a beautiful restaurant! The interior is stylish, elegant, and has a lovely upscale atmosphere.
Looking back, it’s such a shame that we had a late lunch earlier that day, because I wasn’t very hungry and only ordered a salad and the Peruvian rice with prawns, which is actually listed as a side dish.
But wow… what a surprise! My salad was absolutely delicious — without a doubt the best salad I’ve had in New York. You could taste every individual vegetable; everything was incredibly fresh and full of flavor. And the Peruvian rice with prawns was simply amazing. I enjoyed every single bite.
Paired with a nice glass of Chardonnay, it was the perfect meal.
The service was warm and friendly, and the whole experience was wonderful. Next time we’re in New York, we’ll definitely be back for a proper dinner. I can’t wait to try more of the menu!“

Over the years, we've celebrated countless Girls' night-out birthdays here, and it never disappoints. From the moment you arrive until the time you leave, every detail is perfect. Seafood Linguine in Garlic Sauce, steamed clams, mussels, grilled salmon, and lobster tails with crabmeat stuffing (seasonal). If you don't see something on the menu that piques your interest, just ask your server if they can prepare it for you. What impresses me most is Greg's attention to detail, passion, and creativity in delivering exceptional, high-quality food, ensuring each guest feels welcome and appreciated. Obviously every dish can't be a favorite but I'd highlight the tuna-beet dish, the add-on (pay for more) caviar, the duck, tile fish, peekatoe crab, abalone w/ broth.
Service was on point as expected of a restaurant of this level. Love the chef coming over just to chat.
Can't fault them for the ac not working. though.“

“Really enjoyed my meal here. The restaurant is beautiful inside—everything is clean, bright, and well kept. If the weather’s nice, definitely try to sit in the garden. It’s such a pretty outdoor space and makes the whole experience even better.

I had the Spicy Shrimp Creamy Rigatoni with a ginger beer, and both were so good. The shrimp tasted fresh, the sauce was creamy with a nice kick, and the pasta was cooked perfectly. You can tell they use quality ingredients because everything tasted fresh without being overly heavy.

The service was great too. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and checked in just enough without hovering.

I’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu. This is one of those places that’s easy to recommend.“

“Food is really good, deco and environment is also really good. I can tell the service crew is trying really hard to be nice but here’s a few observations and I hope management will take action to help the staff

1. When we finish the raw seafood, we got fresh plates, which was always nice to have. However, after getting the plates for 2 mins, another server came by and gave us another set of plates. Not sure why but ok

2. 15-20mins wait between the seafood dish to hot appetizer getting served. And on top of that our food got served to the table next to us. Now, we got our wine taken care of by the server plus free dessert wines for me and my girlfriend because of this.

3. After we finish our hot appetizer, side dish and one main course. One server came wipe the table which was also a nice move. Then 2 minutes later another server came and wipe our table again and gave us dessert menu. Then one minute after another server came and ask us what we would like to have for dessert. We were so confused as we were still waiting for our second entree.

4. Wait time in between each section of the meal took really really long plus waiting to get the check. We handed to walk up to someone and hand over our credit card so we can get the check despite asking for the check once already

I think all can be easily addressed if there is some level of supervision and coordination. I would like to come back and try the food sometime but I really hope none of the above happens again. I’m still giving the restaurant a 4 stars for overall and recommend anyone to come try out the food“
