“We just had Cupcake Cafe do a custom dinosaur cake and dinosaur cupcakes for my daughter's fourth birthday party. I actually had another baker lined who went MIA on me at the last minute and the owner of Cupcake Cafe was able to swoop in and save the day. The cake and cupcakes were equally delicious and everyone kept commenting on them at the party. We will 100 percent be using Cupcake Cafe for all of our baked goods needs moving forward! The owner was also a pleasure to deal with. Five stars!“

“The boterkoek is to die for! I bought a loaf of Dutch rye bread and 3 boxes of De Ruijter sprinkles for the bread! I ordered $80 worth of baked goods and chocolates & bread and spices and my family and I will DEFINITELY be coming back! We travelled 5 & 1/2 hours to come here and we will be coming back before the Summer to stock back up 🩷 This is officially my favourite Dutch bakery since the one in my home country closed down years ago when I was a little girl 🥺🩷“

“I absolutely love this little shop. Their products are displayed beautifully. It is meticulously clean. The entire store in aesthetically pleasing to my eye. The store employees are sweet and courteous and they remember me when I come in each and every time. I highly (wink wink) recommend their products.“

“The prepared food is so good! We had the TLT and it was so fresh and delicious. And we really appreciated the kind counter staff who were quick with their smiles and made us feel welcome. I enjoyed the big range of vegan goodies and scooped up quite a few treats to enjoy! Also, their coffee was so good and they had a wide selection of nondairy milks and creamers. Great spot to stock up on a picnic before going hiking!“

“Not sure whats happened to the bagels over the years--they're way too soft and underdone on the outside; no crunch at all. The insides are dense, but the sesames aren't toasted, the onions fall off immediately and there's no Jersey/NYC satisfaction left. Don't know if they've stopped boiling them first, or they're not being baked long enough or both, but it's now, unfortunately a BIG No for me. Whitefish salad is very good and staff is fantastic. FIX THE BAGELS and we'll be back!“

“There is no doubt that the food is good. I have been talking about their quiche since I had it this summer. On my second visit, although our waitress was very sweet and accommodating, it was hard to get a table that we could be comfortable in. No place to put you purse as the way the chairs are designed you cant hang them on the back. So I had to hold my purse through out the meal. They wouldnt give us a four seater for two even after the lunch rush at 1:45pm, but then used it for side work during our visit. And with such a small sized table they dont clear used dishes. Train the waitresses to clear. They also overcooked my quiche as well and I dont care for burnt offerings. Disappointing comparitively to the 1st experience. And the manager/supervisor need to work on how she addresses people when she is saying no. I dont want to hear excuses, I want to hear that you are sorry that you cant accommodate me. My first experience was much better. I'll give them another try. Maybe it was an off day.“
