“We decided to have my daughter and her fiance's engagement dinner here. We were mostly impressed with access to a private room, which was just perfect for our small party of 15. Our hostess Rene was absolutely fabulous and so accommodating from the beginning to end along with her daughter Megan. The food was absolutely delicious and the appetizers were outstanding. We were able to decorate the room however we pleased and everyone was so helpful in helping us set up. I would absolutely have another event here!“

1 Caribbean Cruise - drink made was not what was ordered. Bartender made another drink that wasn't what was ordered.
Disappointed with bar service. Definitely need major improvement there. I could have made my own much better.

Another drink ordered - nobody knows what was made but it tasted like apple juice.
Overall, the flavor spectacular. The sweet and spicy combination was delicious. Just enough heat. The size of the crabs were questionable. They were very small!! Like I wouldn't have sold them...small.
Next time I'm in town I'll give them another try because the flavor won me over.“

“Wife and I gave them a try. It had been a long time since we had ate at one. Server was very good. Soon as we were iseated, we had menus and drink order was taken. My wife had potato soup, QD burger and seasoned fries. I had chips with salsa and couldn't stop eat them. Thin, crispy and very addictive. Had the double smash burger with the season fries. Burger was cooked perfect. Would go back again to try other menu items.“

“Not sure why recent reviews have been negative because i have nothing but great things to say about this place! I work in the restaurant industry and think they’ve done a phenomenal job. Service was great, very attentive and informative. Atmosphere was relaxing- not chaotic and peaceful. Food was the best i’ve had in months, from the complementary fluffy bread to desert, it was perfect and just the right portions. Food and drinks were delivered to the table promptly. Id say i’m a food enthusiast and am always trying new places. Traveled over an hour to try this place and i have no regrets. Will definitely be back! Id also like to point out that, in general, people will have great experiences and once they have one bad encounter that’s when they want to leave a review. People only leave reviews on places if they’ve had a blown out of the water experience or a terrible one, unless they religiously review everywhere they visit.“

“One of Pennington’s hidden gems! This adorable place may be located in a shopping center but don’t worry about that! The atmosphere is just perfect inside! The staff is friendly and inviting! Jen is amazing! The food is delicious and the drinks are just perfect! The spritzes are my favorite but there is something for everyone! Don’t miss out on the meat and cheese boards! They are a must try! Perfect for a date, girls outing or just an afternoon out! Can’t wait to go back!!!“

“Haven't had the opportunity to try their food during the lunch or dinner hours. But I wanted to write a review based on the karaoke nights! The atmosphere is very loud and fun. It is very busy when students are on campus. But it's such a wonderful atmosphere to watch people sing and dance. I always enjoy the karaoke nights with my brother, DJ Trey does a wonderful job those nights! It's a good place to start when you want to try something new! Will continue to go and hopefully stop by for the food someday!“

“It was a great atmosphere and I ran into some people I haven't seen in a long time. I grew up across the street from that bar it still has the same owner. So many wonderful memories with great people I met. Peter's place will always be a special place to me with an amazing owner Mikey Peters.“
“Everything is good there. One thing though they need to change the hours of operation on the website Because it says 2am and I got there at 12:10am and was tight that it was closed.and no busses were running. Besides that it a great place to kick back and enjoy yourself.“

“August 3, 2024....Just had the most delicious meal in recent memory, the Stuffed Chicken Breast over Spaghetti Puttanesca at Amalfi's in Lawrenceville!!! Outstanding! MUST TRY!!!! If you are fortunate enough to get ANDRES as your server as well, you will have a PERFECT dining experience.“

“We were in town last night for a sports tournament and stumbled upon the Firkin Tavern. With four kids and four adults, we weren’t sure what to expect, especially since the tavern was pretty busy with only one server. At first, we were a little concerned it might be overwhelming, but Mike, our waiter, quickly proved us wrong. He was absolutely amazing! Despite the crowd, he handled everything seamlessly and was extremely attentive. The food also exceeded our expectations, it wasn’t just typical bar food.. everything was delicious and really impressed us. If we’re ever in the area again for a tournament, we’ll definitely be back!“

“I celebrated my birthday there December 10 food and Bar service was excellent“
“Escape Lounge took over from the Candlelight Lounge and has restarted the Saturday jazz concerts that made the Candlelight such an amazing place. Sets start at 4PM. Parking is available next to the Lounge. They have a full drink menu and also snacks. Service was attentive. The vibe is friendly and upbeat, just like it predecessor. Definitely worth a visit!“

“Very mature crowd when I attended. DJ was really good, interactive, and had great energy. Everyone raved over the fried chicken and fried shrimp. The drinks were very well mixed. “When I went, they had their grand opening the Sunday before. Not going to lie, was planning on going to Amici's for my birthday dinner. My dad and I decided to stay. The waitress was super nice and welcoming! The chef came out to great us as well. My dad and I ordered the fried calamari, it was light and crisp. I was never a fan of heavily breaded calamari and it had an extra bite to it as well. My dad ordered shrimp scampi and I ordered their penne vodka with chicken. They were so delicious! I had to stop myself from finishing because I wanted to have it for another day! The drinks were good as well. The chef told us about his paella and showed us a picture of the mounds of seafood in it, so we will definitely be back for that! Highly recommend!“

“I shoot pool for APA and sometimes we have matches here I personally love going there they are friendly and fun people to drink with they only have one pool table but they have a DJ that plays music and on Sunday's they have $2.00 shots. people think that just because it's by the Trenton Police station that its not in a great area but the patrons that go there are wonderful people that i always look forward to seeing“

“Was there first time for a Friday Happy Hour. People were great. Bartender Alesha great. Cook, I think his name was Mike, don't matter tho, he was great. The food was great. Best Creamy Crab soup around. Santa fe egg rolls delish, Wings great. Will be back for my happy hour on Fri the 14th. Can't wait for that soup. And I may not wait.“
