“Cute, cozy place. A hidden gem in yardley I had somehow never heard of. I don't think there's any food so it's a good place to stop before ir after going somewhere else for dinner. Keep in mind this place is small! A handful of people will fill it.“
“Rich history while dining.Found this from a content creator reels and bookmarked it to check it out.I was more curious to the history part where there was an underground “tour” and the artifacts they’ve recovered while renovating the space. There was also a 3rd floor for more artifact displays and this was up to the onsite manager’s discretion if they want to showcase the 3rd floor. But we did got a glimpse of the underground “exhibit”The manager didn’t mention her name, that I could’ve personally call her by.Although I did asked her, how long she has been working in this establishment and she said “for 20 years”. ?My sister ordered the blackened salmon with black beans and jasmine rice. The salmon was seasoned well but it was fairly dry.I’ve ordered the flat iron steak with fries and asparagus.Apparently, when I got back to our table after exploring the 2nd floor, I was told that the chef had to replace the one that was out on the table as it looked small and not up to par.Which she came back with another ??????My brother in law had the French onion soup and salad. I didn’t try that out but it looked like it was good as it was already empty when I got back ?We’ve also added cream of mushroom. That was very good and I’d come for another. The ambiance is more of a pub, they did have the bar separated from the main dining roomI would come back again with a guest if they are a history junkieParking: It’s within the plaza. Not ideal for big SUV’s or trucksKid-friendliness: I have my 2 year old with us. They had some crayons and something to draw for him.“
“Of all then Yardley options (at least around Main st) I love the Yardley inn for the food and full bar.Other places either do not have a full bar, or else don’t really have great food. The Bisque, burger, wings are all good.It sote by the water, great set up, Vibe at the bar is always fun.“
“I've eaten here or have gotten take out several times. Best Barbecue in the area. Last night, they missed a few sides on our order. When i called them, they apologized, and immediately drove out to my house to deliver the missing items, plus more goodies for the trouble.Outstanding service!“
“Decadent, delicious and delightful. Everything was amazing from the wine to the cheese board to the seared pate’ to the tuna poke. The service was fast, friendly and knowledgeable. The ambiance is very French; eclectic, romantic and sexy. This recently reinvented restaurant is now a must stop in New Hope.“
“So this place has a great atmosphere, very good food, and the service is very friendly. I will definitely be back with some friends. The only issue was that it took a very long time to be served and to receive our food. It was a Sunday evening, so I do expect to wait, but it was an hour and 10 minutes from us sitting down to receiving our meal. It was also 20 minutes from us sitting down to receiving our drinks. I know these guys are busy because their food is very good, but it’s just a very long time to wait when you go out for dinner.Like I said, I will be back because the food was great and hopefully this was just an off night.“
“Had the absolute pleasure of dining here with Caelin M as our server, she was extremely knowledgeable of the food menu and extensive wine selection, she was attentive and overall the sweetest human. Truly enjoyed our time here couldn’t have asked for better service!<3“
“What a nice spot. Good fare and great service. The place was hopping on good Friday. I had mahi mahi tacos they were above average. Gluten free options which made me happy.Dietary restrictions: Gf buns for burgers available, and corn tortillas upon request. I wasn't sure about the black bean burger. So I steered clear.“
“A cool local pub that serves amongst other things, pork roll sanwiches. I had never had a pork roll and so on a whim was suggested to try The Pines Tavern and it was pretty good. The service was exceptional, super friendly staff behind the bar, which I always appreciate.“
“This. Places. Is fabulous ! Really good. The food. And service is top notch ! I love hing thing. About or his gem hubby got filetop mignon wiith Gorgonzola cheese iii had the stuffed chicken breast. Own/...prosciutto d propped wwith tomato cream sauce Deli hb. Our newnfav place“
“Gleasons has the best food in Bristol Township, no doubt about it. The service is the best too, I love everyone who works there! The crowd makes for a good ambiance, and I can't name a single day of the week that I'm not comfortable going in and with friends or family. I have many photos, and they are all great.“
“my girlfriend and i were recommended this place by some locals we met and WOW. couldn’t be happier with the tip. some of the best cocktail bar ambience i’ve ever experienced — insanely cozy and perfect for a date night. we were seated on a velvet couch and i never wanted to leave! they don’t have mocktails on the menu but our server was incredibly friendly and we easily worked out a nonalcoholic option for me. my girlfriend loved The Garden State cocktail. we’re so excited to go again next time we’re in the area!“
“Obsessed with Aaron. He knows my drink order. Not sure what that says about me, but forever in love with him. Also, the foods. Can't forget about the foods. Chips & salsa, mayan shrimp, shrimp fajitas, tacos. Nom nom nom. But Aaron is the main course & event.“
“We were only in the area due to a wake. We took a chance and man, we didn't regret it. The rustic decor, great food, and great service (Thank you, Terry) are wonderful reasons to stop by. First they dropped off the most delightful garlic bread that was fillwd with butter, parm and garlic that warmed my belly. I ordered a grilled shrimp and chicken over beans and escarole special, which was delish. My husband ordered the veal chop, which was cooked to perfection.“
“We were out of towners stuck during Thanksgiving and stopped in here for lunch and a drink. We sat out back on the patio enjoying the view of the river til we got too cold. First of all - this might have been the best chicken pot pie I’ve had, and I’ve had a few. Secondly, everyone who worked there was beyond hospitable and so great. I don’t know if I’ll ever be back in New Jersey but if I am I’m B-lining it here to eat another pot pie ?“
“Awesome as always. I've yet to have a bad time there. Last night it wasn't very busy which I don't understand. How is a place like this not packed every night? Though, it was nice to be able to move around very easily.Parking: Ample parking!“
“As usual, food and service were wonderful. Michael , who wasn't our server this time , but was repeatedly our server over the past 5 yr..... stopped by to say hello and to see how everything was. We were having the egg plant rolatini...he saw that and said “you have to try that with our vodka sauce! So, he went to kitchen and got us some! It was superb! Michael always goes above and beyond. Marcello's is a gem! Thank you! Ciao!“
“Our friend experienced a medical event as we finished dining. The staff could not have been more compassionate or helpful. They reacted quickly, appropriately and gracefully. Our friend has made a full recovery and we are greatful to the staff for the support they provided during a frightening event. And yes, the food and atmosphere were both lovely.“
“Food was great, we went here because it was close by an event venue and was open late on Sunday night. It is a tavern atmosphere, at least at dinner time, so be aware the music is somewhat loud and not 100% family friendly. But otherwise it's a good place with good “
“I called ahead to schedule a team lunch for our out of state hockey team (total of 36 people, about half were kids). They were extremely accommodating, quick to respond, and set up a plan to make sure we were able to order and pay for each family efficiently.I sent our orders in 24hrs in advance by family hockey number and when we arrived, everything went so smoothly!!! Pitchers of water were already on the tables, additional drink orders quickly taken, and food started to come quickly. Everything tasted great and the service was amazing!!!Thanks again from the DE Ducks PW hockey team! We would highly recommend The Borough Pub!“
“We just had a retirement party last night and the food was amazing. Derek was always checking on us to make sure that we had everything we needed. I will definitely have another party there again. We had about 30-40 people there and definitely had enough food and drinks and the food was “
“Yes it does have a stench… and yes it’s like a basement .. low ceilings .. it’s small…. it’s a barBut let me tell you….It’s an authentic place and the band was awesome.Yes there may be different bands per week but this particular night, the band was superb. I danced in my seat and bopped my head so hard. It was a good time! Not that much diversity but I was made to feel ? comfortable.“
“Merriam-Websters collegiate dictionary defines hospitality as the following:": the activity or business of providing services to guests in hotels, restaurants, bars, etc."Hospitality is the bare minimum of what I received during the shift that Jessica and Kathleen worked. I would say the shift wasn't excellent, I would say it was perfect. I would say that this bar doesn't set the bar for service when these two work, I would say it is the measuring stick that the bar (on a limbo level) needs to be set at.Not only did the (beautiful by the way) bartenders make me feel welcome, they made me feel like family. I honestly couldn't imagine another place I'd rather be on a Monday night. Home? For what? A disappointing evening of marital stress and ultimate regret? I'd rather be here, at a place where like Norm, Sam and Diane in another town many years before established a repor where everybody truly knows your name. And it's not just the service. The food. The creative specials along with the iconic staples keep this bar hip and fresh. 20/10. Chef Alan kills it.But overall, this is the place you need to be. I'll probably come back. I'll probably bring a friend or two. But if I don't, I want my review etched in the halls of history long after we are all gone, this is the place to be. These are the people to see. They say to be the man you have to beat the man - find me a bar better, find me a bar that beats this place, and I'll try it.“
“Nice Bavarian Fare, good ? staff, no issues, we just miss the mustard, and our attentive waitress, I believe her name was Heidi, perfect name for a unique Bavarian experience.Parking: The parking distance from the Handicapped stop to the door was not an issue.“
“Nice bar nice atmosphere is the weathers not nice people in the area. The drinks is OK it could be a little better but Shatika had to ask for a stronger drink. It’s Street literally a vodka with cranberry is literally $2.50 is worth your while instead of going to the city come here u will enjoy “
“Great Drinks, Great People, Great Atmosphere! My wife and I LOVE Sparkys! Anyone Local (or not) should definitely check out the place, comfortable & nostalgic! THEY DONT MAKE BARS LIKE THIS ANYMORE!!! Sparky's World Famous is a Unique, Kick-ass bar!“
“Diamond in the rough. Happy hour, $15 dollar beer bottle buckets, Awesome $1 wings, very tasty sauces to choose from. Nice selection of beers. Love Kona big wave. Cash only. Great service bartender she was very welcoming. Will definitely go back.“
“We went last night for Taco Tuesday and ordered a few options to share. We ordered the beef empanadas - amazing! Full of flavor and nice crisp, served with pico de gallon and a chipotle sour cream drizzle. The birria tacos - perfect. Beef was great and tacos had a lot of meat. We requested no onions and cilantro and we loved them! Chicken and cheese quesadilla - so good. Packed with meat and cheese and plenty of fixings on the side. Ordered a 50 oz margaritas and it was great and packed with lots of tequila and fruit garnish.“
“This really is one of Trenton's best kept secrets and I do not go enough. On Thursday night you pay $5 for cover entry to blues jam and really jazz jam that comes with a small food treat. Enjoy a drink or two and world class music. The cover is $20 on Saturday with more extensive food options.Vegetarian options: This is not a spot for choice. There is one meal, classic, that usually has vegetarian salad. Otherwise, this is not the day.“
“A nice friendly hometown bar with great food and good drinks I personally don't drink alcohol but the bartender made me this great mocktail that was deliciousVegetarian options: Add a black bean and spinach quesadilla and it was delicious,!“
“Lisa behind the bar rocks (all of the employees from management, to BOH, to FOH are great). The crowd can get a little boisterous some times. About those prices; they are the absolute best in the area. The giant white board menu with a veritable plethora of choices is the best you'll ever find. When I write "Best", that's no exaggeration. Go & look for yourself, and you'll see what I mean. Thanks for keeping a prices down Sadie's. The world needs more places with your sharing, generous attitude. ????????????“
“I'm a sucker for Dives lol. Higher-end bars, city rooftops and lounges all have their place, but so do local dive bars lol. Calm casual atmosphere, not smoky or anything inside. Plenty of pool tables and keno that locals play. I got breakfast. Eggs were great, and toast was perfect. Very reasonably priced. People weren't used to newbies coming in but were very friendly. It's a good place to try out if hiking the Canal Path!“
“Phinney's is a great bar nice crowd and good menu I just think a bar like that and the kitchen should be connected and the cook shouldn't be a separate issue from the bar.... you should still have to order thru the cook because sometimes the bartender is busy too be taken orders“
“Great bar. My favorite place to chill and work via my laptop while I wait for my kids to finish practice. Staff is friendly and attentive. You can tell it is managed really well. Food is great. I recommend the chicken pot pie (Tuesday night special) and the Caesar salad with steak.“
“A friend and I went there on a Friday mid-afternoon. The place seems great. Want to go back when the place is really hopping. I believe the barmaid's name was Ruthie, I'd go back to see her alone. She was so funny and down to earth. We used to go there as kids for pizza before Roller-a-ma. Food was great, prices were decent. Gonna head back on a Friday night when it's at full swing. Seems like a really fun place with friendly people.“
“Since the Plandemic, OLT has been following Murphy's EO (not law) to the "T".They also made major permanent improvements to the bar;1) A large outdoor seating area with an enclosed fence.2) Wireless pay for the pool tables ($1.00 for one game or $3.00 for 30 minutes). There are no house cues anymore because shady customers were stealing them. You must bring your own. HOWEVER, pool tables are ONLY available for APA players & paying customers.3) You can only run a tab if you use a credit card.“
“What a wonderful, cozy Italian influenced tavern in Lambertville! We were seated at a high top near the front window which was lovely. There are plenty of things to order on the menu but we wanted pasta! We ordered basic pastas - that's what we were in the mood for - Mariana Spaghetti & Pesto Fettuccine! They were delicious but a HUGE serving. We could have easily shared one entree between the two of us! So either share, bring some friends, or be prepared for leftovers! Our server was lovely and balanced the perfect amount of attendance and privacy! :) Totally would come back here again!“
“My new fav chill spot . Everyone is friendly , great customer service . I love their pizza wings and of course their Dr Pepper . If u ever stop here definitely gotta have Dr Pepper … don’t kno why I didn’t try this place out long time ago ..“
“Great bar. They have pool tables and the beer is very reasonably priced. Sandwiches are pretty awesome.Parking: Small parking lot on site, but also lots of street parking around.Kid-friendliness: Not really a place for kids. Probably can get away with it early in the evening.“
“Decided to suck up my pride and give this place another chance. Turns out, there's just one bad apple in the bunch. The bartender (perfect manners, kinda hot) The cook (great food, homely soul) The manager.... He reminds me of Wilson Fisk from Daredevil. He lacks customer service and a business can suffer fast with one bad apple.“
“We were a party of 11 for the Easter brunch at 10 a.m. (in 2024). We had a wonderful time. From the first greeting by the host/hostess, to the servers, and the buffet workers, to the good bye ~ everyone we dealt with was pleasant and professional. The food selection was varied, delicious, plentiful, and temperature appropriate. Matt, our server, kept on top of monitoring our drinks; mimosas, coffee, soda etc., empty plates were taken away and not thank you for making our Easter brunch a wonderful family gathering left on our table for very long.We could not have been more pleased to come to Amalfi's, our first visit, but definitely not our last. The ONLY negative was it was a bit chilly in the room.I'm sure for the next seating it was a little warmer.Highly recommend Amalfi's. We thank them all fees for making our family gathering a wonderful memory.“
“We held a birthday celebration for my Wife at the Vault in their private event room. We hosted over 50 guests and the room was perfect for a party of that size. Plenty of seating throughout, and the room was nice and comfortable. Everyone enjoyed themselves and raved about the food! Last, but not least, Sarah and the entire staff at the Vault that took care of us for the 3 hour event were awesome! Helpful and attentive and making sure the experience for everyone was great. Sarah was communicative and helpful in putting together the event as well. I would recommend using the Vault for a private event. We are very happy with how everything turned out!“
