“My husband and I tried Hamilton Tap and Grill for the first time today. Our waitress, Stacey, was very friendly and efficient. I mentioned that the roast beef that I ordered was too well done. The manager came to our table and said he was taking my sandwich off of the check. We will be back.“
“Went Easter Sunday. Table was ready when we got there. Our server 'Alex' - she was the best. Kept an eye on us to see if we needed anything. Food absolutely out of this world Nicely spaced between appetizers and main meal. Gave us time to digest. Absolutely must come here.“
“This joint was jumping on a Friday at 6:30. We would have been turned away without a reservation. The pork chop scarpariello, short ribs and filet were excellent entrees. This was a birthday celebration, which is why we went a bit high-end. This venue at this time of night might be a bit noisy for some , but no complaints here - just an excellent meal!“
“Hadn't been there for years. We had a satisfactory experience but not as good as we had hoped. The menu choices were rather limited. My husband's entre was very nice but my salmon dish was lack luster and bland. Herbs and spices were missing. The service was very good and hopefully with the introduction of some more interesting entrees, we would be more enthusiastic about Acacia. We definitely will try them again.“
“First I would like to acknowledge our waiter, Joshua B. He was such a pleasure and so attentive and personable. The recommendations were great and his personality was an experience in itself. The manager was also amazing and my only regret was not getting his name. Now let’s get into the food…EVERYTHING, and I mean EVERYTHING prepared was delicious. The tuna tartare and lobster bites were my absolute favorite apps. The entrees were phenomenal. I have the surf and turf and my wife had the cowboy with the lobster and cherry pepper topping and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The atmosphere was lovely and the drinks ESPECIALLY THE POMEGRANATE SPRITZ and Pomegranate Sangria …AMAZING !“
“Excellent experience. My wife and I went there as a belated Valentine's day treat for ourselves and did the 17 course tasting menu. We also sprung for the wine pairing. I think 16/17 dishes were excellent and there was only one that was "just ok". Wine pairing was excellent and pours were generous. My only advice would be to pace yourself, don't need to eat and drink everything! A little expensive but worth it for what you get.“
“This is my second visit to The Dinky Bar and Grill in Princeton which offers great views of the campus. We were going to see a play at McCarter and it is so convenient being across the street. The Dinky has an intimate vibe. Being the original Train Depot the feel of the place is still a train depot which I love. The menu is limited but certainly enough to choose from. There are shareable plates as well full entrees. Very good food and drinks. Our server Kayla was amazing. She needs to be recognized because she was extraordinary. A very busy place pre theater but Kayla never stopped smiling Great experience all around. Will definitely be going again.“
“So this is a hard review for me, I live very close (currently). Their wings are phenomenal for the price and the kitchen is open till 10pm. I came in at 9:30 after a late night and the wings were just as good. Wings 5 stars, the rest is 3.5 stars. Atmosphere is not for everyone but a good time and the regulars are very nice. Free shuffle board and a few bucks for pool. It is definitely worth trying on a Wednesday or a late Friday or Saturday night as they are open late and know how to party. I’ve come on quiet Sundays and middle of the week, all was well there too. It’s a solid 4 stars overall and that is a brutal review for a place I truly love. **edit** alcohol is relatively cheap. Mixed drinks could use some work but lots of options. I got 8 wings and a miller draft for $9.89 (03/2024)“
“I went in today for lunch with a good friend who is fighting cancer and haven't seen in a long time. Her stomache is very fickle and she did amazingly well with the food. It's definitely leaning towards fine dining. Linen table cloths, linen knapkins, polished silverware, white glove service without the gloves. Our sever observed us without being intrusive. He only served the next dished when we stopped eating the first one. If you're accustomed to being entertained by your server, this is not for you. If you value uninterrupted time spent with your guest while still not being neglected, this is for you. I actually like it when the server is vigilant but not overbearing. I want to enjoy the food, take in the atmosphere and speak with my friend, and our server allowed us to just be present. We never had to ask for anything. It was brought out at the right time, our needs were anticipated and we were greeted by Chef Jason, who greeted every table. I recommend the truffle oil fries, beet salad and hand held chicken pesto. The presentation of all three dishes was beautiful. Thank you so much. It was a really good experience.“
“It's one lady cooking and taking care of all customers & she's amazing. The food is amazing especially the fried whiting & she works fast to get her busy day and orders out of the way in a timely manner. I love it! I just moved to morrisville from Virginia and I love it!“
“Had brunch here with friends. Very cute place, and the food and drinks were tasty. The server was nice as well. Main reason for not 5 stars is that the tables are small (so takes some shuffling of plates if in a group) and are so close you overhear the conversations of every table around you, and they hear yours. Not ideal for a gossipy girl brunch or flirty dates, but otherwise we really enjoyed the experience. Would eat here again for sure - I had the scallops and they were perfectly seasoned and cooked just right.“
“This hotel is absolutely gorgeous. A short walk away from Princeton University and all of the shopping of downtown. The heated floors in the bathroom were a huge plus for this southerner. The beds were extremely comfortable, as well as the pillows. The continental breakfast was delicious, especially the blueberry muffins. While this is a boutique hotel, the prices are fairly reasonable. I would recommend staying here if you're in the area.Walkability: Located half a mile from Princeton University and downtown Princeton.Noteworthy details: Heated floors in the bathroom were a wonderful touch.“
“Elegant and relaxing atmosphere with a pleasant and accommodating staff. I met with Tara, who gave me a tour of the facility and reviewed membership options with me. Having been in the Restaurant and Hospitality industry almost 30 years, I was pleasantly surprised to see something that I don't get a chance to see too often- a working manager. Jay not only made sure that the patrons were taken care of, but was also not afraid to assist his staff in every aspect. Hats off to The Lobby Club.“
“Actually there's some printing errors in this Yelp App. No Delivery at all plus only payment towards every food sales are Cash Only ! The Spring Roll with the rice paper wrappings are no longer available and Vietnamese and Malaysian dishes ,are no longer available ! Love their Fried Rice , Lo Mein and etc .“
“Hotel restaurants are usually culinary punching bags offering unimaginative cuisine to a captive audience at eye-popping prices. If that's your perspective than I'll feast on your prejudice at Iron and Ivy, an under the radar gem at the Forrestal Marriott in Princeton.A very low-key garden setting offers you a chance to converse using your inside voice while grazing through a menu running the gamut from burgers to a very tasty steak -- all while avoiding the restaurant scrum in downtown Princeton replete with time limits and credit card surcharges.Iron and Ivy is a nice change of pace and a secret that I have misgivings about revealing. A relaxing five stars.“
“my husband and I just moved to the Princeton area. We discovered this place via tiktok and wanted to check it out. the food was delicious. the truffle fries could've been a bit crispier, but the breakfast burger was everything! our waiter, Max, was super accommodating and sweet as well. he even let us in on his barista surprise which was also tasty. definitely recommend.“
“My wife and I had a very pleasant dinner at Diamonds. Sherry, our server, was attentive and provided excellent service. She provided helpful descriptions of the different dishes which we appreciated. We ordered the veal marsala and the clam linguine. Both dishes were delicious. The Limoncello cake was just the right blend of sweet and tangy, just as Sherry described it. The manager also greeted the guests at each table, which was a nice touch, that the customers were appreciated. As with everything else, the prices are not what they used to be but we will dine there again for sure.“
