“Ordered a chicken pesto Stromboli and one of the reasons was the sun dried tomato’s. Unfortunately it came with regular tomatoes which made it watery. Sun-dried tomatoes are more expensive than plum tomatoes and the flavor is very different.if they were not available the server should have mentioned and the price should reflect the difference. Very disappointed and only had a couple bites.“

“We had dinner here for the first time on Sat, 11/12/22–what a wonderful experience! The staff was friendly and very helpful. We had muscles for our appetizer that were fresh and very tasty. We each had different entrees, one the salmon dish and the other chicken—both were amazing, with each of us saying we’d order our meal again or try the other one next time. Then dessert: one had the s’mores dessert and the other the chocolate bread pudding—we didn’t think we’d have room, but we made room, because both were excellent! Plus the chef said he’d be changing the menu every week—we can’t wait to go back!“

I have been to Harvest Seasonal Grill in Newtown at least half a dozen times, and it is consistently one of my favorite spots in Bucks County. Whether it’s for brunch, lunch, dinner, or happy hour, it never disappoints.
The Food & Menu
Their farm-to-table approach really shines through in the freshness of the dishes. I love that they offer a great selection of gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options—it makes it so easy to dine with a group.
• Must-Try: The Cuban Black Bean Bowl is one of my go-tos (the chicken add-on is great, but it’s a fantastic plant-based option on its own).
• Seasonal Favorites: Keep an eye out for their Butternut Squash Soup in the cooler months—it’s delicious.
• Drinks: Their sangria is a must-have in the spring and summer; they always have such creative and refreshing seasonal flavors.
The Service & Atmosphere
The staff here is incredibly nice and attentive. They truly care about their guests—they even called me once when someone in my party accidentally left their boxed leftovers behind! It’s that kind of personal touch that keeps me coming back. The atmosphere is upscale-casual and perfect for any occasion.

Located in the Village at Newtown, parking is generally easy to find in the surrounding lots, which is a nice break compared to some of the busier city locations.

“Normally order from here at night for dinner and it is okay. Never blown away. Just regular Stoagie cheesesteak. Got a cheesesteak for lunch today and honestly I was blown away. The phone girl was more polite and warm than the girls at night. The cheesesteak was 100 times better; from the roll to the way the meat was chopped up and distributed into the roll. Who ever is day crew is 10/10! Thank you for the good service and really good cheesesteak and tots .“

Their beer? Next level. Super fresh, bold flavors, and you can tell they actually care about what they’re brewing. Tried a couple IPAs and a stout — all fire. The food was legit too — not your basic bar food, way better. Big portions, well-seasoned, just hits the spot. Staff was chill, vibe was relaxed but fun. “This was my first time trying Humpty’s Dumplings. They were at a local craft show at my church. I tried the cheesesteak dumpling, spinach and cheese and chicken and dumplings. “For a local bar, it’s awesome. The kitchen puts out some real food. You just need to start to learn the menu and you’ll find your favorite dishes. The bartenders love what they do. It’s the place a lot of the bartenders go after they’re done working at the other bars. My only downside is it’s incredibly noisy at many times during the week. Other than the noise level, it’s hard to share a down. However, when the noise is challenging on the ground floor, you can always sit down at a table on the second floor and receive great service and food. Another win for Doylestown.“
