“My eight year old is very picky. Very picky. And I want him to understand that Taco Bell is not Mexican food. So we went in hopes he would at least try some real tacos. Well, he did. I don’t know how you did it, El Macho but he polished off a full plate of four carnitas tacos! The waitress was nice enough to just give him meat and added cheese but he devoured them. We will be returning! Five stars!“

We ordered tacos (of course). Nick ordered the bulgogi tacos and I had a tofu taco and a bistec taco. Everything we had was exceptional. They also provide an amazing green salsa, but to be honest the tacos really don’t need it, they have so much flavor! We are so glad we gave this place a try and recommend you do too!“

“Just stopped into Taqueria El Buchon for a take out order for the first time. We were greeted by Ray who was very friendly and happy to talk with us while our order was being prepared. You can see a lot of love and care goes into this business. My wife and I ordered 6 different tacos and I'm happy to say they were all excellent! The carne asada was my favorite and she loved the birria. We will definitely be back soon to try more items. Easily some of the best tacos I've had anywhere in NYC.“

“I live in the area and love trying out local restaurants, Taquerua La Casita did not disappoint. The atmosphere was great, wel lit and busy. Its a small place, but small places tend to be masters of their craft. I got two orders of tacos, tacos al pastor and tacos de costilla (recommended by the employee working he counter). Both were great, fresh and bold flavors. The pastor came with a slice of pineapple on top which was a nice touch. I really enjoyed the Verde sauce that came with the order. I will definitely return in the future. Thanks for the awesome food. I want to try every item on the menu 🙂“

The tacos are absolutely delicious! I have no complaints and with that being said, you should definitely come here. “My husband and I first heard about this place from King Schratz and I’m so glad we did!

Yes, like others have mentioned, it is a bit pricey, but it's absolutely worth it. The food is consistently delicious and you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. My husband loves their tacos and burrito, and I’m a big fan of their elotes, tacos and taco bowls. Even my 79-year-old mother, who normally isn’t a fan of Mexican food, loves theirs. That alone says a lot!

Their tres leches is also incredible. I’ve sampled a lot of tres leches cakes in my life and theirs easily jumped to the top of my list.

Beyond the food, the customer service is just as impressive. Two of the owners, Jay and Kike, are always so friendly, accommodating, and helpful. They even offer delivery, and their driver, Juan, is just as awesome! In this day and age, it’s rare to find a Mexican spot that’s both authentic and Latino-owned... and Just Tacos is exactly that. We’re more than happy to keep supporting them!“

“I’ve been coming to this small business for about 3/4 years now and although it’s just a taco truck I know enough that all I have to do is pick up my order and eat it at my house or enjoy it with my partner at the nearby park. I’m not gonna make a review about the “environment” of a taco truck and make them feel obligated to my seating needs for that I’ll just to a RESTAURANT it’s a perfect grab and go. The staff is very friendly and hard working people, for as busy as they get their customer service is consistently great. I want to mention how hard it is to find authentic AL PASTOR TACOS that are supposed to be made like how they make it here. The tortilla is always fresh, the meat is seasoned perfectly and you can tell by the color on the meat and the salsa verde is also perfect if you are into spicy fresh homemade salsa just the right texture not watery like others that I’ve had around the area.“

“I went with my wife and daughter for a few days. We ended up at the Grove every day for brunch and dinner. Staff was over the top amazing! Not to mention the food was fantastic! Now to the atmosphere…we are normally early in people but this place was so much fun with the karaoke and back to the staff, that one night we didn’t leave until midnight!
