“We had dinner at Il Gusto while visiting from out of town for a baby shower. We came here with our toddler after an exhausting drive and we were blown away by their kindness. As a fancier restaurant, we were initially unsure how toddler-friendly they would be. But they were talking and playing with our daughter through the meal and one very sweet employee even went in the back and found a tiny fork for her to use without us asking! And beyond that, everything we ate was fantastic! Highly recommend this restaurant to families!“

“From the moment we walked in, the host greeted us like old friends and walked us right to our table — I instantly had a good feeling, and I was right. Our server was awesome — super friendly, knew the menu inside out, and was on top of everything all night.

The menu is classic Italian but with a twist — way more interesting than your standard North Jersey Italian spot. The ossobuco was fantastic (if I had to nitpick, I’d say the risotto could’ve used a touch less water and a heavier hand with the parm). The clams were fresh and baked to perfection, and my son devoured his ravioli. For dessert, the bread pudding was absolutely unreal — honestly worth the trip alone.

“We had my daughters baby shower here yesterday. The food was absolutely amazing! The manager Sam was extremely easy to work with long distance (I live in Pennsylvania). The wait staff were very friendly and attentive . I would highly recommend this place for a private party.“

“Came here with my husband for our anniversary. The garlic spread on the bread with scallions was so good! Then the homemade bread was so fresh out of the oven! The mozzy sticks and marinara were delicious! Crispy and cheesy. The sauce was wonderful. The potatoe croquettes were also so good and the sauce was amazing!! The soup was one of my favorites. Just right. I loved the thin noodles. The salad was ok but my husband enjoyed it. The chicken skillet with bruschetta was AMAZING! Very generous portions. The sauce was so flavorful. I added mushrooms and best mushrooms ever! The spinach was a little salty but great! And the bruschetta mixed was a wonderful mix! I truly did love it. The calamari was okay but not my thing. The pasta was amazing! And all homemade. My husband liked the calamari but didn’t realize it wasn’t breaded. The cookie and Ice cream were great! I liked the cheesecake! Very light! Highly recommend and would come back. Service was wonderful and I enjoyed how they spaced out the food.“

You would think the restaurant would be empty because of the torrential rain,nope. They had a wonderful dinner crowd. We started with the stuffed or artichoke that was outstanding.Our entrees were Barramundi , two of us had lamb chops and the other Nino‘s pasta. “It's pricier than an average restaurant, but if you're looking for a more upscale experience this place is a great choice. And that's coming from someone who doesn't prefer upscale places. The meatball appetizer is amazing, as is the cheese pastry appetizer. There are a lot of pasta dishes that you won't find in a normal restaurant. I can say this pretty confidently because I didn't recognize half of the items on the menu =D

The pasta is all homemade and the sauces were delicious.

The atmosphere is perfect for small groups. My wife and I went with two other couples and it was very easy to visit and hear each other. The music playing on the speakers wasn't loud enough to interfere with any conversation, and it was just loud enough to provide some nice background music.

Would definitely recommend checking out this restaurant if you're looking for a slightly upscale place.“

I grew up in Pompton Lakes and I have moved all over the country and have dated more pizza than I care to share 🤣 I swear to you there is no better sausage pie in the world better than Tony’s. “This place is TOP SHELF. Went twice this past week and honestly feel there is NO place in the area that comes remotely close to this restaurant! I moved from Bergen County and until now, could not find that rare combination of quality food, CLEAN and attentive , personable staff. The seafood is AMAZING. “Aldo’s has amazing service, delicious food and drinks. We especially love the pizza and the salad with chicken is our absolute favorite. We actually crave it!! The front area is so wonderful, and I wish we could eat in that section, but they NEED TO STOP smoking the cigars out there. I know so many people stopped going there because of it. We moved to the side tables, but I got so sick from It last time. Some days the smell of the cigars wraps around the side. It’s horrible! Going to the side tables to eat doesn’t quite cut it because it’s so hot over there and hard and not like the nice front area with the shaded trees and pretty plants. Going inside is too dark and not the same atmosphere as sitting outside on a nice day. Please reconsider moving your cigar area to the back. Make a nice and pretty place to smoke in the back, away from your customers who are trying to eat. Please leave the front area for your patrons to enjoy. Also, maybe make the side more shaded with some trees and more greenery to make it more inviting and comfortable and less hard and hot. We would go more often if you made these changes.“

“I stopped into Danny's Pizza early in the day, shortly after they opened. I saw a sign outside that said they were voted #1 best pizza which I'm usually skeptical about. After having a slice though, I was pleasantly surprised. The pizza had a thin, crispy base with an incredibly flavorful sauce. The sauce to cheese ratio was spot on and the cheese was perfectly fresh and melted to perfection. Even the crust was bready and delicious. I'm definitely a fan.“
