“Such an elegant place to dine. From the moment we arrived until we left, the service was outstanding, and everyone was so kind and so welcoming. It's quite the formal place but it also has a warm, relaxing feel to it. We decided to have steak for dinner, and it was such a beautiful cut of meat and cooked to perfection. The dessert was wonderful so creamy and rich tasting cheesecake. Even the coffee we had after dinner had a wonderful rich taste to it was just such a great place to go. Francesca made us feel as if we were dining at my home town in Italy and the food was amazing. She is the best. Most experienced waitresses in the industry. Would recommend Axton's to anyone. We actually found it years ago on a search for "best pizza in Bergen County" during the pandemic and we have driven half an hour to dine there weekly nearly every week since. I mentioned pasta primavera, which is not on their menu, and was told to please come in, they would create something for us. Our big bowl of pasta had very generous portions of fresh broccoli, mushrooms and carrots. The sauce was flavorful and delicious and the veggies were perfect. It was just what we had hoped to find.
