“I came in for The Big Meal Deal the other night. I was seated in no time at all with a great view of the big screen TV. Minutes later a young lady named Maddy came over and introduced herself and asked if I would like to order a beverage. I ordered my beverage and my meal at the same time . Maddy then inquired if I would be interested in an appetizer. I do like buffalo wings so I ordered them as a starter. My beverage was delivered to my table very quickly by Maddy. She returned with the buffalo wings at almost an unbelievable short wait, I was offered ranch and bleu cheese for dipping and wet naps and napkins for my hands. To my surprise my bacon cheese burger came out exactly as ordered medium rare. (Nice Tender And Juicy) I expect to return to the Middletown Applebee`s in the very near future. I will be asking to be seated in Maddy`s section and I suggest you do the same. Maddy is very professional and treats you with a fun, friendly, attentive and respectful personality !!!“

“Elli’s backyard is a fabulous brunch and dinner spot with EXCELLENT service. We fell in love with the food and atmosphere of the place on New Year’s Day. We had an excellent brunch there and asked if they hosted bigger parties. This weekend we celebrated my 30th birthday there and they couldn’t be more accommodating. We had 25 people and they moved the tables so that we were all sitting together. They also added special touches like a champagne cart (it’s BYOB so we brought our own champagne but they decorated the cart nicely for us and put out pitches of orange juice), chalkboard birthday signs on the table, and bringing our complimentary dessert with a fun firecracker when it was time to sing. They allowed us to bring in additional decorations and cupcakes for dessert. They had 3-4 servers waiting on us who couldn’t have been sweeter. The owner, Patrick, checked in with us throughout our brunch to make sure everything was perfect. The service was above and beyond! And the FOOD! The food was SO delicious! Everyone was SO happy with what they ordered! Delicious menu items that are large portions and creatively plated. They allowed us to take our time and catch up with everyone at our party and did not rush us out. We couldn’t recommend Elli’s backyard more! We thank Patrick and his workers so much for making my birthday extra special! We highly recommend to everyone and can’t wait to come back!“

Lemon tart and a you-gotta-try-it-once-in-your-life “budino,” for dessert. (Do you know stressed spelled backwards is desserts?) What’s a budino you ask? Adult pudding, whipped by angels, so addictive it must have been created by Satan. Farm to Table, fresh, sustainable, local, tucked away on a side street in Red Bank… and you get to bring your own favorite wine. Don’t go. Don’t tell your friends. Let this gem be all mine.“

“1st time ordering from here. We tried the Cobb Salad to go. Owner ran out of Blue Cheese but asked if we wanted an alternate cheese. Was still delicious! Very fresh and tasty! Portion size was good. Owner was also very friendly. Even though Keansburg is desolate due to the season, this restaurant is still open and it's worth the trip to either eat in or order out from here. I recommend giving them a try if you haven't already.“

“Me and my sister-in-law‘s tried this place after a spa day. What a great choice the atmosphere was great. I love the decor. Our server was super friendly and suggestive. They had so many good choices for lunch. We tried the turkey cranberry melt and chicken salad wrap. We also tried the fried goat cheese balls so delicious. I tried the soup which I wish was a little heartier but was good. we really enjoyed our meal. I definitely recommend giving this place a try.“

“I have dined here multiple times. The food is always great as is the service. The restaurant has a cute vibe, however the last few times I have eaten here the restaurant has been extremely dirty. The silverware is not clean and the tables and floors are not clean. The tables nearby remain uncleared for the duration of our dining. I want to keep dining here, but it really needs to be better kept.“

“Stayed overnight for a one day work trip. After a 51/2 hour drive the last thing I wanted to do was drive anywhere for dinner ( didn’t want food in take out containers either) sat at the bar, had a Caesar salad and pasta primavera, added salmon.
The salmon was perfectly cooked as ordered ( medium rare) and it was excellent! A bit pricey, but excellent food and service!“

“I went to the Robinson Ale House on June 29, 2024. Service was excellent. The waitress was wonderful. My husband and I had lunch. I had a T-bone steak special , he had meatloaf. They were excellent. We had key lime pie for dessert. Really good too. We were seated outside on the side because we needed shade. Planning another trip in August. I can’t wait to try the Drunken Clams this time if it’s still on their menu. I hope I get the same waitress. If they still have the T-bone on their daily special I recommend you get that. I had mine medium rare. Quite pricey but well worth it. The rest of the menu is moderately priced. Good generous sized portions. Definitely recommend. 5 stars“

This creative Chef who works magic with food has turned Drew’s Bayshore Bistro into one of the most popular restaurants to eat at. People come from all over to enjoy and will take any time slot available to do so. We have eaten here more times than I can count and have had many group dinners and celebrations. Drew’s new location is beyond beautiful and only a stone’s throw from his prior place. We just love the feel of the new home and the beautiful ambiance. it’s absolutely gorgeous from street view and fits perfectly into Keyport’s historic vibe. The food is also over the top insanely incredible. Oh yes I have favorites. The scallops are perfectly sautéed, tender juicy and was served with pesto risotto. A true explosion of flavor. Broiled oysters are one of the most incredible thing I’ve ever tasted and honestly could eat two portions for my main, but haven’t done that yet as there are so many things to try. Pork chops, steaks, soft shell crabs, voodoo shrimp, homemade ice cream and all his special makes it hard to choose what to order. Incredible list of specials are always offered. Menu changes for seasonal favorites. I feel like a kid in a candy store when I look at the menu. We are very thankful to Drew for sharing his vision and providing all of us with a delectable dinning experience each time we eat here. Five stars are not enough!“

Unlike other places that sell rotisserie chickens that are injected with sugary additives, the ones here are organic and have no unhealthy things added. Their bread is fresh. The choices in items are healthy. the only negatives about the store are 1) high prices and 2) some of the produce is old. We buy our produce at farms during seasonal bounty or else we buy it at Foodtown.“
