“Liu's Garden has some of the best Chinese food in Central Jersey. They have an expanded menu with nice mixture of meat and vegetarian options. There online ordering is good in capturing most of the menu and allows for additions or changes. There is a small convenience fee for online orders though.“

“Our GOTO for Chinese takeout. The food is usually very good (occasionally, I’m guessing whoever cooks) it could be a little different than what we’re used to. “This spot rocks! I’ve been ordering from here the past 5 years and honestly it gets better every year. The food is fresh. You can tell they cook things in separate pots/pans unlike other Chinese spots.
The general tsos is crispy on the outside and fluffy & juicy on the inside. The sauce is thick and not overly sweet. In my opinion it’s almost perfect.
The crab Rangoon is insane. Best around!
The lo mein is soft and flavorful; the large portion size is fantastic. The shrimp pieces are a good size and taste great.
My delivery guy is always nice as well along with the staff that works there.

“This is the only place I feel safe ordering in from as someone with food allergies. I have a dairy and gluten allergy and they are so accommodating with the dishes. You get big portions for a good price and the food is always so fresh. I also have a super stomach with some problems so I always feel icky eating out and since the food is cooked in high quality oil I never feel icky after eating here which is SO rare for me. The owner is incredibly kind and told me how she also has food allergies and is happy to make modifications and help. It’s so rare that restaurants welcome modifications and she always does so for me. I’ve never gotten sick here and it’s the one restaurant I feel comfortable ordering in from and look forward to doing so every week. The entire staff is helpful and are always kind and respectful even when the phone is ringing like crazy and there’s a line for pick up. They never rush you and always make you feel welcome. I stopped here to get lunch after I saw the movie Migration.?? ?? I liked the prices that they have on their menu and their appetizers. I asked for a chicken lo mein lunch combo with an eggroll. Came out to $12. A good price for lunch,but I should have asked for some more sauce packets. I would deliver here but they're so far away from my house ?. “We have been eating at this amazing restaurant for a few years now! Food is excellent...Wonton soup is not salty like other restaurants..Food is always fresh and not greasy..They keep the restaurant very clean..The owners are very friendly.

“The only negative I have (and it’s a big one and has happened 4-5 times now), I order no onion in my pepper steak and they add a $2 extra meat fee. I didn’t ask for extra meat to compensate for lack of veggies , and I don’t like it added without it being acknowledged or even approved/denied.. really not okay with that decision being made without my knowledge of it and will say something next time..

However when it comes to the food? Do it. Our usual orders are a some kind of mix of chicken&broccoli, pepper steak, boneless ribs, sesame chicken, fried wontons… everything has been great every time. One of the “better “ meats when it comes to both the chicken and the beef.. delivery is uncomfortably fast at times lol. Prices are average to anywhere else around here but the portions are great. Would definitely reccomend.“

Tai Hing just moved up to number one. They are cleverly closed on Tuesdays instead of Mondays, since so many restaurants are closed then. The prices are also really fair and a good value. “The food is good but when I walked in and saw those poor fish in a tank that is too small for them it really upset me. You need to get a bigger tank and a canister filter like the Fluval 407. It will keep the fish smell down and a bigger tank would be beneficial to the fish. It just broke my heart. If you can't take care of them find them a good home.“

There’s not another Chinese restaurant I’ll eat at unless subjected to another state. Great food great service and it’s expedient. Only bad thing about this place is parking.“

Either is the one across the street, which we ordered the day before and we’re extremely disappointed to the point that we wanted Chinese again the following night and we chose Golden Jade. Flat-out great food here and I knew it because it’s family run and everyone was friendly. You can tell they take pride in their cooking. We had fried dumplings which would great - they give you 8 and my only critique is they need more filling but the taste is great. The house lomein and house fried rice were outstanding. Fresh and not over sauced. The chicken and broccoli and the general tso chicken were what you expect in the taste department and we’re done very well. Their egg rolls were tasty. The highlight though was the boneless spareribs. So many places get this wrong - these were the best I’ve had in the area even topping my usual place. They had the right amount of glaze, weren’t tough and were made completely using rib meat. Sweet, salty, and easy to chew. This place didn’t disappoint and if it’s a battle between Golden Jade or the one across the street in the junction, Golden Jade is easily the winner.“

“Best takeout Chinese food I've found in the area so far. Fantastic white meat sweet and sour chicken, which was crispy with a side of sweet dipping sauce, and great pork fried rice. Szechuan chicken was also very good although a little sweet and comes with a lot more vegetables than meat. They did forget the rice with our order so check the bag.“

“Big props to Ming Hui Chinese Take Out. It's the best Chinese food restaurant in Perth Amboy. I had a Chinese themed party this past Sunday at a rental hall . They DELIVERED!!! - on ALL LEVELS. Not sure if they've ever done an order this large at one time, but they did an excellent job. They prepared enough food to feed 150+ . I asked to have it delivered at 2:30, they were there at 2pm. Everything I asked them to prepare was on POINT, ON TIME, AN DELICIOUS. I ordered broccoli in brown sauce - made perfectly, pepper steak, boneless spare ribs, chicken lomein, general tso chicken, vegetable-white-pork fried rice. It was so fresh and flavorful. The egg and shrimp rolls have a good amount of flavor. Ordered the Singapore noodle and it had sugar added and what seemed to be cinnamon, so ask for ingredients before ordering. Clean, takeout only right now.“
