“I’ll start by saying the only reason this didn’t get five stars is that it took an inordinate amount of time to get the pizza. To the point where I thought we were forgotten as there weren’t that many tables…super friendly service but the oven can only cook seemingly 1-2 pizzas at a time so it takes a WHILE (probably ~40 minutes order to table). But if you have the time, the pizzas are amazing.

Started with the short rib special. This was pretty good. I didn’t feel like the salsa verde added much. Crust ever so slightly burnt but in a way that I enjoyed.

The true star, though, is the Fun Guy. The caramelized onions on this pie elevated it to another level I’ve never experienced and may be one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. Would absolutely come back for this alone.

The space is hip. BYOB and chill overall with tons of tables.“

Vinny and his team made sure the food was consistently coming out fresh and that everyone left completely happy. No one has stopped talking about how great the food was!“

Tonight my family went there to celebrate a birthday with some pizza( the pizza was great) it ended up being a very scary situation that ended up with having to call an ambulance. The staff were great! They checked on my family several times, brought us stuff to help with the situation, called 911 and kept checking for the ambulance and even comforted my mom who was in full panic! Finally, we found Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza. Although not as big as the pizza I'm used to in Philly, it is delicious! Perfectly well done on the bottom and not greasy.
