“Great food and portions at reasonable prices. Staff are very polite and nice. In an area where other Chinese restaurants appear to inflate their prices and reduce their plate size, Number One sets itself apart. A real value and a great find.
Vegetarian options: Soup, Dumplings, Tofu and vegetable dishes as well as Mock Gen Tsos Chicken.
Dietary restrictions: I need lower carb options. They substituted Brown rice for white at no charge. Plenty of protein and veggies in their dishes.“

“Such a nice evening!! The food was delicious and our server (so sorry I don’t know your name!! The Hungarian girl from Felsoörs 🇭🇺🇺🇸) was exceptional, so knowledgeable of the menu, sociable, prompt and helpful! We had the fried eggplants & chicken popcorn as appetizers, then various types of noodle dishes, sesame chicken and seafood tofu. Super yummy, and cozy atmosphere. Will go back when in Princeton!“

“I have been spoiled and will no longer be able to get Chinese food back home anymore.
All the fried dishes were perfectly done, the batter light and crispy, even sauced. The sauces aren't your normal takeaway sauces (no neon red sweet and sour sauce here), they appear to be made in house by hand. And the shrimp! I don't normally order shrimp at Chinese restaurants, but if you don't order a shrimp dish here, then you are doing it all wrong. The shrimps were huge and perfectly cooked.
Overall, 10/10. We will be coming back the next time we visit from New Orleans.
Our favorites: Spicy Girl roll, the Dragon and Phoenix and the penang curry.“

“It did its job perfectly.
You choose from all the preparations, up to four per plate, which was our choice for 11.99 dollars. You stay very full, good portion.
I chose teriyaki chicken, sweet chicken, rice and crab salad.
I would repeat if I returned to this area.“

“Lovely restaurant. My wife was working in the area and decided to pick up some take out for dinner; 2nd best decision she made in her life, next to marrying me ?. Everything tasted so fresh!!! They did not half a** anything. Their eggrolls are a must try, extremely fresh! We are originally from Brooklyn, NY, so we had our share of Chinese takeout… so if we are traveling 30 mins both ways for Chinese takeout, that should say a lot. This place does not miss ?? Hits the spot every time.“

They always make me feel at home and prepare food the way you like it.

“We were planning a big party at our HOA and after trying almost a dozen Chinese Restaurants, that did catering, we tried Cheng Garden.
We knew we'd found gold when every dish we tested tasted like what we ordered, instead of all having one flavor. The chicken, beef & pork were tender and not fatty, the vegetables were fresh and crispy and the flavors were delightful.
They couldn't have been more helpful or pleasant to deal with and their prices were right in line.
On the day of the party, all the trays were ready for pick up at the specified time, packed in boxes and piping hot. One box was accidentally left behind and Cheng Garden immediately ran it over.
But the best part of all was that everyone loved the food. The party was in June and we're still getting great reviews and members requesting Cheng's address.
We're so glad we found Cheng Garden!“
“I enjoy getting take out. This place meets our expectations for Chinese food take out, and is typical for this area. I appreciate that this is a family run place, with their kids learning too. We have tried other places in the area and keep coming back here. Very convenient location for us too.“

Been eating here for years and never got any bad food nor bad service.Update 8-14-22The owner of this place is always looking for good help. He hires them, they stay a few day, gone!! He and his wife are working so hard everyday and yet still the food I'd delicious as always. I always get good fresh vegetables in in dish I order.Wild waiting for your food, you see how fast and hard they work. I give this place not a 5 but a 10!! Please go check them out today. They maybe a small place, but the food I'd always 100% delicious always. If you know people who need to work, go talk to the owner.“

“Ming’s Chinese food is actually really good — the flavor, portions, and freshness are always on point. But I’ve got to say, I don’t love that if you ask for extra broccoli, they charge you for each piece individually 🙂.
Still one of my go-to spots, just wish they’d chill a little on the “per broccoli” pricing!“
“China Chen is the best Chinese take-out restaurant in this area. I try to come here at least once or twice a month. It is in a little food court inside the Forrestal Village (across from the now-closed down Salt Creek Grille). I like their beef and broccoli, fried rice, bourbon chicken and pork egg rolls the best. The service is always quick and the prices are very good. There is seating inside the food court and outside as well. Everything is made to order (the food is not sitting out) and is fresh and hot. The service is friendly and quick. There's a PF Chang's further down which I do not recommend (their prices are too high and their quality is very poor). Wegmans used to have excellent Chinese food, but not for the last 10 years or so. This is truly the best place in the area. Also, China Chen takes credit cards and there is no service charge to use your card and they do not have a tip jar out (I know a lot of people hate that).“

“Just ran into them tonight on my way back from work. I love the type of sauce they do for their beef n broccoli. The rice is a little minced but I'm not tack any points just cause of thats.. it's still very fresh. I'm a chicken noodle soup guy. Start with the broth because you tell right away how it's gonna go. Broth very tasty. The chicken was fine and honestly the noodles were nice and al dente. I understand it's not an Italian place but that's how I like my noodles. Good stuff guys and I'll be back“

“Great place to host events with a big group of people in their dining room. $25 cash per person for a lot of good food and drinks. The owner is extremely accommodating and polite every time we come here. I can’t speak to the quality of the take out/regular menu, but the fried rice, general tsos chicken, and lo mein is great for big parties.“

“I go every Friday and get the Double Pork dish. It is amazing!!! The ingredients are so fresh and it's a lot of food. I'm a big eater and I can't eat it in one sitting. I make two meals out of it. Considering the quality and quantity, the price is a bargain. I will be a lifelong customer.“

“(Recommendations below) Their service is always speedy and orders always accurate. Food is always delicious. This is the go-to for everyone in the area whether it’s for a lunch break or dinner time take-out. They don’t offer delivery, but it’s in such a convenient location that it works out. Haven’t been to any other chinese restaurant as good as China Star 💗⭐️ they’re so consistent in every aspect. They also have a buffet, but I haven’t tried it yet. Give them a try!
•Wings + French fries are unmatched!!
•Peanut butter chicken
•Black pepper chicken
•Fried rice
•Singapore Mei Fun
•Scallion Pancakes“

“It’s rated 5 star in the internet so I order food by phone. It was delivered on time as promised. There’s a little mixed up on my order that they immediately corrected. They don’t argue, accept their fault and send me the right one. Food are great, personnel are courteous, service are excellent. I ordered chicken wings with fried rice, beef with broccoli, tofu with mixed veggies and house special chow mein.“

“Typical hole in the wall restaurant. Food is good, seating is 2 tables and is more for people waiting for take out.
The space is clean and does not smell of hot grease or cooking. Like the old Steak and Shake the entire kitchen is in sight, and almost in reach, of the seating. Much of Chinese cooking is high heat so hot oil smells are typically part of the deal.
Service is prompt and the kitchen is fast. We've tried a number of dishes and I like the rib tips over pork fried rice. The BBQ sauce is well executed. My wife has enjoyed the shrimp in lobster sauce and shrimp with steamed vegetables.
There is a menu and daily specials board. Be sure to look over the specials. Servings are large and I get between 1 and 2 meals.
Plan to take out. Dine in has 2 four-person tables tightly placed just off the path from the door to the counter.
The old joke about bringing your own atmosphere applies.“

“Used to be a regular visitor for about 5 years, and now visited after 15 year break!! Food is still good and very polite service. But prices have gone much more than other Chinese places!! Would only consider again if in the area, given there are many others close to my place.“

“They have amazing biryanis and authentic flavors. Good selection of vegetarian menu. Chicken 65, Apolo fish and tandoori grill are my favourite dishes in their menu. They take catering orders for small and big events too. Whatever the occasion they serve you with warmth and comfort food. The best Indian food in this Dayton New Jersey area.“

“Discovered this hidden gem. If you are looking for a unique quality experience with Chinese food this is the an amazing food place. Tried them out two days ago by ordering their Dry Chicken dish. Be careful as it has bones but it was unbelievably delicious, a flavor and texture that was so unique. So the next day we got their liver, fish and a soup. Simply delicious. Could not stop eating. The staff are great but do not speak english and their online menu is also unclear. Its best to get the printed menu. We are so excited to try all their other dishes. Also, it's takeout only.If you are used to regular american-chinese fare then this is not the place for you. If you love to experience exotic flavors then have fun.“
