“I'm surprised the average is this low. I've been getting take-out from here for a while and I've always found the food and service to be great. Friendly, decent prices, good portions, consistent wait times for pick-up. They're also open pretty late, which is nice since I live on a pretty late schedule.

I don't order a wide variety of things. I almost always get kung po chicken, sometimes black bean chicken if I want something less spicy. But I've always been happy with what I received. I tried the chicken lo mein recently, and it was quite good.

The egg drop wonton combo soup is particularly good, strongly recommend that if you like both (or either?) of those soups separately. I accidentally ordered just wonton soup once, and was initially upset with myself, but I found it to be very good as well. It's become kind of a toin-coss for which I get now, though I still lean a bit towards the combo since it's a pretty long-time favorite. Something about both soups is better than what I've had elsewhere. I dunno what it is, but it's good.

Overall I like this place a lot, and that's resulted in me ordering take-out maybe a bit more often then I should.“

“It’s rated 5 star in the internet so I order food by phone. It was delivered on time as promised. There’s a little mixed up on my order that they immediately corrected. They don’t argue, accept their fault and send me the right one. Food are great, personnel are courteous, service are excellent. I ordered chicken wings with fried rice, beef with broccoli, tofu with mixed veggies and house special chow mein.“

“Good vegetarian sushi and soup. The sushi rice was under slightly under seasoned and just a bit overcooked. Otherwise, I would have rated a bit higher. My son loved the Tom Kha and the Shirley Temple drink. Loved that they served the hot tea by the pot. The service was excellent. They also gave us 10% off for paying with cash. Overall good experience and very reasonably priced. I would go back.“

“We were planning a big party at our HOA and after trying almost a dozen Chinese Restaurants, that did catering, we tried Cheng Garden.
We knew we'd found gold when every dish we tested tasted like what we ordered, instead of all having one flavor. The chicken, beef & pork were tender and not fatty, the vegetables were fresh and crispy and the flavors were delightful.
They couldn't have been more helpful or pleasant to deal with and their prices were right in line.
On the day of the party, all the trays were ready for pick up at the specified time, packed in boxes and piping hot. One box was accidentally left behind and Cheng Garden immediately ran it over.
But the best part of all was that everyone loved the food. The party was in June and we're still getting great reviews and members requesting Cheng's address.

“I’ve gone to Cheng Garden in Dayton, NJ for years. Always been great food, friendly service, and affordable. I’ve tried multiple dishes and never been disappointed. The Mala dishes have been a long-time favorite and I can’t find anywhere else that even offers them. You choose from all the preparations, up to four per plate, which was our choice for 11.99 dollars. You stay very full, good portion.

“Tiger Noodle one minute from Jomtien Beach just behind the Seven Eleven offers absolutely delicious Thai meals at very reasonable prices. When I called them, the lady told me that she gave me 3 instead of 4 because the 3 are the big ones. After 2 weeks, I ordered 2 orders of chicken ? wings again and should be 8 wings, but instead was only 7 wings and I called them again and she told me the same like the previous older, the wings are big. “Lucky Star on Perrineville Road in Monroe NJ is by FAR The BEST Chinese in the area ! The customer service is excellent the food is always fresh and consistently excellent. The portions are huge. We have tried almost everything. And they are exceptional! Like I said consistently the same great flavor. Portion size and the price is extremely fair.“

“I eat here as often as I can and every time has been a great experience. It’s a great self service restaurant where you can enjoy some alone time in a nice, clean environment and eat a hearty meal.

Some of my favorite entrees include the Spicy Asian Noodles, the Soft Tofu Stew with seafood, the Black Bean Noodles, any of the K-Maki/Kimbap, and the Sweet and Sour Pork, which is especially great because you can choose to have the sauce on the side so it stays crispy when you take home leftovers. The Hot Stone Bibimbap also seems to be quite popular, but I’ve yet to try it—no matter what you order, you can count on it being tasty and authentic. The portion sizes are also quite large for the price, which I appreciate.

Additionally, the service is great and the workers are all very nice. The owner is especially attentive, always noticing whether you may need extra serving spoons, baby utensils, etc. She also remembers every customer and their specific food preferences and treats everyone so kindly.
