“It was our honor and privilege to be a part of a dear friend's B'day Bash last Sunday at Kochi. Dining at Kochi was one of the, if not THE, most memorable experience ever. We were totally floored by the exquisite food - and service - provided by Chef and Owner Mr. Jebu Matthew and his team. From the cool berry drink and amazing classic South Indian appetizers, to the numerous - and for us, many new - items that kept appearing in front of us almost magically during the main meal, served in the traditional South Indian style (on banana leaves), right through the delectable halwa and delicious jaggery rice payasam (desserts), we could feel the love and careful attention with which each item was prepared and pride with which each item was served. Plus, being served by Mr. Matthew himself was, in and of itself, humbling. He patiently explained the intricacies of each delicacy which helped us understand the complexity of the cuisine's varied flavors. To be actually seated (for hours) and served at the table greatly enhanced the culinary experience. We have rarely, if ever, felt that we have consumed a feast - but now, can proudly say so - because of Mr. Matthew and our experience at Kochi. “Great food! I was recommended to come here for a date night, which I will definitely do. However, I did take out this time. Although the quality of the food was great the amount of food that I got for the price was really a letdown. I paid $30 for butter chicken & naan and didn’t even get rice. Also the naan was $10 but only 2 slices. It would help a great deal to add more detail so customers understand what’s a part of the meal.“

“This is my third time visiting this A2B and the food has been consistently good. The parking is private and plenty of parking available. As you enter the restaurant, the ambiance is so pleasant and welcoming. The staff greets and gets you seated. The menu is via app and is very easy to use.
We ordered Veg thali for dine in Then ordered Crispy corn, Veg Kothu parotta, vegetable fried rice and Idiyappam with coconut milk.
The Veg thali meals was good portion and came with rice, Roti, Sambar, veg kurma, Rasam, yogurt, a desert, few sides of vegetables like spinach dal fry and sweet potatoes. I missed the Puli Kozhambu instead got the Mor kolambu. Overall the taste was spot on for Southindian meal.
We did order some snacks for take home and they were perfect and fresh. The take order took very long and we got to know that Idiyappam will take longer and had to cancel that.

“For many of us longing for that traditional wedding feast served on a banana leaf, a visit to The Park Indian Restaurant is a must. The feast is served just like weddings back home with so many veg and non-veg dishes and most importantly with such warm hospitality that one feels like part of the family. “BAPS SWAMINARAYAN Akshardham makes my heart swell with pride and joy! Pardon me for bringing this to light: - I visited the BAPS SWAMINARAYAN Akshardham and was dismayed at seeing a couple taking pictures kissing in front of the Akshardham. I get that this mandir is open to the public and has become a tourist attraction because of its magnificence. But at the end of the day, it is still a Hindu Temple and a sacred place where Hindus worship and in this case the house of Bhagwan Swaminarayan. Some people are visiting for their tic-toc, Facebook and Instagram viral moment; as you’d be amazed at the poses you see people striking for pictures, but they should be RESPECTFUL OF HINDU CULTURAL NORMS! When visiting any Basilica in Europe - Clothing should generally cover the shoulders, chest, midriff, and knees. The dress code is similar here. People don’t have to wear traditional Hindu Attire but PLEASE, the public should dress modestly to show respect for ancient cultural traditions and norms! Wearing leggings is not dressing modestly. No one wants to see women’s bootie at a mandir! And kissing on the lips at a Mandir is the equivalent to tourists etching their names onto the walls of Rome’s Colosseum. “We are lucky to have a Banquet hall like Rasoi in the town. It is perfect to have a small or big party. We recently had our Diwali get-together at Rasoi. The Food and service were top-class. The manager Prasad Kadam ensures all goes well and all guests are happy. The staff members are very warmth and welcoming. Once this place is renovated in the coming months, it will have a brand-new Banquet hall to host the parties. I hope Chefs will introduce and add new food dishes to the catering menu.“
