“It was our honor and privilege to be a part of a dear friend's B'day Bash last Sunday at Kochi. Dining at Kochi was one of the, if not THE, most memorable experience ever. We were totally floored by the exquisite food - and service - provided by Chef and Owner Mr. Jebu Matthew and his team. From the cool berry drink and amazing classic South Indian appetizers, to the numerous - and for us, many new - items that kept appearing in front of us almost magically during the main meal, served in the traditional South Indian style (on banana leaves), right through the delectable halwa and delicious jaggery rice payasam (desserts), we could feel the love and careful attention with which each item was prepared and pride with which each item was served. Plus, being served by Mr. Matthew himself was, in and of itself, humbling. He patiently explained the intricacies of each delicacy which helped us understand the complexity of the cuisine's varied flavors. To be actually seated (for hours) and served at the table greatly enhanced the culinary experience. We have rarely, if ever, felt that we have consumed a feast - but now, can proudly say so - because of Mr. Matthew and our experience at Kochi. “My wife and I are on the #eatjersey challenge to visit and have a meal in all 564 towns of NJ. We chose Tavern on the Lake for Hightstown, our 150th town.

Great eats and comfort food in a place that is at the center of the town. They have a fantastic beer selection on draft that rotates over time. For the fall season, we had a Hot Toddy and Spiked Cider. The French dip sandwich and crab cakes were great.

When there's warmer weather, they have a great outdoor patio too!“

“An excellent variety of wines to taste, both local and more well-known varietals and both dry and sweeter styles. Though most of the wines were not to my taste, they were well-integrated wines and the person serving was extremely knowledgeable. A wonderful setting with outdoor space, where we were fortunate to find a guitarist/singer entertaining on a beautiful afternoon in central Jersey. Only the tasting area itself marred the experience; it was too small and too loud and not adequately staffed.“

“This was the busiest restaurant I have ever been to in my entire life. It is a fairly large space and probably used to be a chain restaurant, but it was completely PACKED with people who wanted vegetarian food! I was impressed. Plan ahead though; we waited 45 minutes for a table. There were very few options (only 2 dishes and an appetizer) for vegans. Someone had to come over and suggest them for us. When we did get the food, however, it was incredible - freshly made with beautiful ingredients. You could feel the shredded ginger and my dal had bright green baby spinach, which I almost never see in an Indian restaurant. If there had been more vegan options it would have been a 5.“

“On January 11th 2023, incredible Dustin, Once again prepared A sumptuous Gluten-free feast for me and a friend! He made Singapore noodles and Infused it with the perfect spices and it was ohhh so Scrumptiously delicious ? Dustin, not only is owner & Manager of Princeton PF Chang's, Talented gourmet Chef with a Heart ❤ of Gold!!! Also want to praise him on the delicious chicken lettuce wraps and amazing Spicy Chang's chicken he always remembers ti give me extra sauce in the side! Please give kudos to Zach who fixed the bill which was done asap and to let Patty , my delivery Angel know she was missed on 1/11 and none Other is like her she makes sure I have all the Extras and is sooo sincere and over the top service ?❤❗“

“First time dining at Spigola's and it was terrific. Surprised to find a wonderful full service bar in a restaurant located among strip stores. Usually strip store restaurants are B.Y.O.B. Menu is quite varied and was accompanied by a special menu. My wife and I opted for entrees on the special menu which were superb. I love Halibut and it was prepared exquisitely. Dining experience deserved the five stars given. Our service was spot on.“

“My company and I had a rack of ribs with rice and broccoli, a million dollar cobb salad with salmon instead of chicken. Well done and whiskey glazed ribs. Outstanding. Just outstanding. My compliments to the chef. My only disappointment is that they shut down so many TGIF restaurants and I had to drive so far to find this one. However, it was well worth it. The other problem was they seemed to be low staffed and the young lady who was serving me was very busy and having somewhat of a hard time keeping up.“

“We went to dine with this rag tag restaurant and the experience was awful. The waitress had no teeth and asked my son for his? At first we thought “hey maybe they are joking” then all of a sudden. They lady grabbed his front bicuspid. Needless to say - at that point we were concerned. Because we had a long day we were still hungry. So we stuck around. The next thing you know. The toothless individual brought another toothless friend and tried to get my tooth as well. At that point. We know. Time to get out of here. We were cooked. Unlike the food at this gross place.“

“Mi Espana is outstanding! Totally blew us away! Absolutely fantastic authentic home cooked Spanish food!! The caldo gallego (soup with greens, pork, white beans & potatoes), sopa pescado (seafood soup), chicken paella, pulpo (octopus with vegetables), and torta dessert were all fantastic! The chef clearly loves what they do and you can taste it! Great service too! Better than the Spanish restaurants in NYC, N. NJ & Philly and very reasonably priced! Can't wait to go back!!“

“We've been here a few times and have had a great experience across the board. The food is delicious and at a great price. Our favorites are the BBQ ribs, wings, and coleslaw/potato salad. The staff are friendly. The atmosphere is a little lack luster but most people order take out and don't typically eat in. Regardless, we love the food and have had great experiences. We'll always come here when we crave classic BBQ. Highly recommend!“

“I had the Dosa Grill cater my housewarming pooja, they exceeded all of my expectations and delivered great food. All of my guests enjoyed the food, the food was fresh, non-greasy, and delectable. “The best pizza place local to me. When you walk in it smells of as a traditional Italian grandmas kitchen. My boyfriend was craving pizza so I brought him here. He got the meatball pie. The face he made after eating the first bite was him falling in love with me all over again ?. This place also has amazing gluten free and vegetarian options. I recommend this place to all my friends. Tight indoor dining but they have a cute patio outback that’s much more spacious. I personally always do take out.

“As a first timer at Nomad, I read reviews and saw several that complained about the service; so I was prepared for same. But have to say, the service was good. Our server was prompt to the table, gave us time to decide, and brought water. And so it went, no complaints. Pizza is no longer a cheap meal, so no problem with the prices, which are reasonable. The pies, well, they are a tasty, flavorful meal, with crust done perfectly. One of our party ordered an arugula salad, which he devoured. The Nutella desert pizza was not that impressive, but it did seem to disappear. Cheers!“

“I give classic Subs 4 stars only because I think they could be a little more sanitary when it comes to making sandwiches. For instance, when there making sandwiches, they go from making one sandwiche right to the next without changing their gloves. Also not putting paper down before making your sandwich. My son loved the Tom Kha and the Shirley Temple drink. Loved that they served the hot tea by the pot. The service was excellent. They also gave us 10% off for paying with cash.
