“I was travelling in the Clifton area and looking for a place to have dinner. I came across this restaurant, which on the outside appears to be a non-descript little building in a mediocre neighborhood. I was hungry, so I decided to give it a try, and I'm glad I did. It's not a large restaurant, but the inside is much nicer than the outside would suggest. Food and service were excellent, prices reasonable. I had a chicken dish, small salad, dessert, no alcohol, it came to $37. Recommended.“

“Wow! I was looking for a local byo and stumbled up St. Eve's. I was utterly impressed and so happily satisfied with this place. The hostess was gracious and accommodating, the service was great, and the food was beyond EXCELLENT! This place is hidden gem and I don't know how it was not packed and impossible to get a reservation! Presentation of the food was beautiful amd the chef even came out at the end to ask us how we enjoyed everything. My new fave spot. Go try it, you won't be disappointed: )“

“My husband and I went for dinner. We had a reservation and was greeted by the hostess, Madeline, who sat us right away. She was such a delight. She checked on us during dinner to make sure everything was going well. The chef also came to say hello and to make sure everything was to our liking. It totally was!! We ordered too much food because it was hard to decide on one thing. Shrimp cocktail and calamari appetizers. So good! Each was more than enough for two people! We ordered dinner from the 'specials' menu. Hubby had the 12oz grilled ribeye... and couldn't eat it all. I ordered the beef short ribs...sooo tender! Everything was delicious, including the drinks! The servers were awesome and very attentive! We'll definitely be back!!“

“I've only eaten there once, but I can see myself visiting again. Service was very good, and friendly. The "Alvin" Grilled Chicken Sandwich was tasty, though the Chicken was a bit chewy. The French Fries were very good. The menu looks very ambitious, and I look forward to trying their other offerings. The bathrooms are tiny, but clean! It's a safe bet that you'll get an enjoyable meal at Strawberry Place.“

I have loved cake since I was young but got recently diagnosed with celiac. For my 25th birthday I really wanted something special. She was able to put wording on my cake and it tasted so gooood holy moly!

“Lifelong Palisades resident, and have loved the 9W Market/The Filling Station since it opened back in 2011! A HUGE improvement over the previous ownership when it was called the Palisades Market which opened in the spring of 2010 and was only open for a few months and then closed. I was so disappointed with the Palisades Market because it lacked a decent food selection and this community needed something so much more. Luckily, the owners of the 9W Market have done such an amazing job! I’ve never had a bad meal here! The ingredients are high quality and super fresh! The atmosphere and ambiance is very relaxing and tranquil! Love the bistro theme on the indoor side and picnic theme by the filling station burger stand. Not to mention, the burgers are the best I’ve ever had! Made with high quality grass fed beef! This is gourmet nyc restaurant style food right in our local neighborhood! Keep up the great work!“

He chose a few cookie dough cupcakes, while I got brownie, chocolate-covered strawberry, and vanilla with chocolate frosting cupcakes. I've only tasted the chocolate-covered strawberry one so far, and it was delicious. He didn't regret picking up multiple cookie dough cupcakes. We're looking forward to finishing our selections. “Family owned. The owner (I believe that’s who served me) is such a nice guy. I got the immunity juice and chicken Cesar wrap and both were fresh and delicious. I ate all of it up! Juice was a big quantity! I saved some for the next day and it was still great. Highly recommend this place. I called for pick up and it was ready in time. Fast service. Sweet man. No pressure to tip, so naturally I did leave a tip. I love supporting small businesses. Go try it. You won’t regret it.“

There is only outdoor seating so we took out variety of baked goods and coffee home.

Canele was baked traditional way and was almost same as what you can get in France.

“I visited Ameer Bakery on my own and had such a great experience. I wasn’t familiar with a lot of the items, but the staff was super helpful and took the time to explain everything. Their kindness really stood out. I tried a few Palestinian pastries, and the baklava was absolutely amazing—fresh, perfectly sweet, and full of flavor. I also picked up a bottle of their homemade olive oil, which I’m excited to cook with. The bakery has a friendly, welcoming vibe, and the daily specials posted outside make it worth checking in often. Highly recommend for anyone looking for authentic treats and genuine service.“

“Cassie’s has always been a place close to my heart. I always go there for dinner with my family and they are my go-to for catering events. However, last week I hosted my first big event at the restaurant after my daughter’s baptism and I found them to be equally as amazing. We ordered the event package, which included appetizers, pizza, salads, pasta and an entree. It was all delicious! The food, the atmosphere, and the staff were exceptional. All of my guests said they enjoyed their time there and said they plan to return. I especially want to thank Douglas, our main server of the night, who went above and beyond to ensure we were completely satisfied and happy. He was kind, professional and quickly completed every request that was made. I also want to thank Joshua who helped arrange the event and was very understanding and accommodating to our large group’s diverse needs. The Cassie’s staff made our event memorable and we are so grateful for them. Cassie’s is a great place to share with family and friends and I highly recommend everyone try them soon!“
