“Stefan the new chef has a wonderful restaurant here with fantastic delicacies to choose from. Standouts are his Tuna sushi on rice cakes with caviar. Amazing. Also the steak frites with truffle fries and the tuna carpaccio...just wow. Stefan also had a delicious tapas served as appetizers a few weeks ago with anchovies and other types of seafood served on toasted baguettes. He is friendly and engaging and a great addition to the Ho-Ho-Kus dining scene. Bought St Eves from the previous owners about 2 years ago. Go and Enjoy!“

“I've only eaten there once, but I can see myself visiting again. Service was very good, and friendly. The "Alvin" Grilled Chicken Sandwich was tasty, though the Chicken was a bit chewy. The French Fries were very good. The menu looks very ambitious, and I look forward to trying their other offerings. The bathrooms are tiny, but clean! It's a safe bet that you'll get an enjoyable meal at Strawberry Place.“

“Lifelong Palisades resident, and have loved the 9W Market/The Filling Station since it opened back in 2011! A HUGE improvement over the previous ownership when it was called the Palisades Market which opened in the spring of 2010 and was only open for a few months and then closed. I was so disappointed with the Palisades Market because it lacked a decent food selection and this community needed something so much more. Luckily, the owners of the 9W Market have done such an amazing job! I’ve never had a bad meal here! The ingredients are high quality and super fresh! The atmosphere and ambiance is very relaxing and tranquil! Love the bistro theme on the indoor side and picnic theme by the filling station burger stand. Not to mention, the burgers are the best I’ve ever had! Made with high quality grass fed beef! This is gourmet nyc restaurant style food right in our local neighborhood! Keep up the great work!“

“Amazing high quality bread and pastries that are comparable to any top bakery in NY, San Francisco or Paris. The croissant was buttery and flaky and not too sweet and the coffee was excellent. The service staff was sweet and friendly.
There’s only seating outside so mostly for takeout.“

“Tried this pizza for the first time yesterday via pickup with my family, and it was so delicious that we went back to the shop to eat in again today. I’m actually not a big fan of pizza, but this place is incredible. Hands down the best pizza I've ever had! The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is great. My favorite was the Margherita. If you’re looking for a pizza that’s perfectly seasoned (not too salty) with high-quality, gourmet dough, you must visit this place.

Pro tip here: If you have leftovers (It tastes even better if you’ve kept it in the fridge or freezer beforehand), put them in a pan over low heat with the lid on. Heat it until the cheese feels warm and soft to the touch. I'm eating it right now, and it's shockingly delicious. The crispy texture is insane.“

“Just got home with our food that we ordered on the phone. This was our second time ordering from Yassou. We enjoyed our chicken gyros so much the first time that we ordered them again. Plus we ordered two sides - gigante beans and rice pilaf. The beans were absolutely delicious, however the rice pilaf was a big disappointment. First of all, it was not rice pilaf. It was basic basmati rice and worse was, it was seasoned with cilantro. Cilantro?? In a Greek rice side dish? And you pay $9.00.“

“Ordered from here for the first time. Got unagi don and the sashimi deluxe. Both came with miso soup. I asked for substitutions in fish and they gave me exactly what I asked for. The sashimi was good for the most part, the salmon was the best part, melted in my mouth and delicious. The other fish were good too. The unagi don was good but a bit too salty, so that was a little disappointing. I haven't tried the miso soup yet.“
