It's BYOB but the waitress (Elif i think) made sure to bring all we needed for the wine and checked on us multiple times throughout the night to make sure we were good.

“I’ve been eating Chicken Delight since I was a kid — the kind of spot my grandfather would grab on those random days, and we’d bring it home to my grandma like we just hit the lotto 😂.

Even now, every time I come back to Westwood to visit family, this place is still one of my first stops. Not because it tastes exactly the same as when I was little — it doesn’t — but the memory hits the same every time.

I always go straight for the chicken and fries. The chicken is hot, crispy, and comforting in that “I grew up on this” kind of way.
And the rolls? Still soft. Still doing what they need to do.
Their coleslaw and macaroni salad have always been my secret favorites — still some of the best around.

My grandparents loved the shrimp and ribs, so those were always on the table growing up even though I never ate them myself.

And the pizza? The second you open that door, the aroma hits you right in the face — warm, fresh, familiar. The kind of smell that drags your whole childhood back instantly.

We even had Chicken Delight at family gatherings and church events — that’s how deep it runs in our family story.

This place isn’t just a take-out spot — it’s a piece of home that somehow stayed standing while everything else changed.

“I discovered Wild Radish at the farmers market. My daughter and I now pretty much live on Wild Radish meals for lunch and dinner during the week! The food is delicious, fresh, healthy and a great way to eat well without the fuss! They have lots of gluten free and vegan options, too. “Amazing experience, my family loves this pizzeria. We usually order delivery or get a slice if we are nearby, today we decided to dine in. Don was our server and he’s always excellent. I ordered a shrimp parm sandwich it was great. Me and my wife were wowed by the soy ginger calamari we definitely recommend it And my wife got a lasagna everything tasted fresh and flavorful. Very grateful to have a pizzeria like this nearby.“

“Went to Choo Choo Train with five friends. Ordered Miso Salmon entree and it was delicious. Salmon was grilled perfectly, broccoli and carrots were cooked well and still crunchy, and mashed sweet potatoes were yummy. Cannot say enough about food and attentive service. Will return...no doubt!“

One of the owners, Marcello makes his rounds around the room speaking to his customers and making you feel at home. Everything I ordered was delicious and the waiters are so polite and attentive. “We had an absolutely wonderful meal on Thanksgiving. We ordered the usual turkey dinner and it was was scrumptious. I believe the new chef owner brings the experience to whole other level. We loved it. We are going back Christmas Eve! I do have to say I was disappointed a restaurant of this level and price point charges a 3% credit card fee. This is a first for us as we frequent comparable fine dining restaurants and we were never charged a fee. Food for thought.“

“We hosted a surprise 60th birthday party this past weekend and it couldn’t have been more perfect. From the first call to set it up to the moment we walked out the door, the staff made sure it was such a great experience. The people who work there are so attentive and kind. The managers Bryan and Kelly were so helpful in planning our party and Ivan is a rockstar. He took care of our party of 20 and made sure we had everything we needed. We never had to look for him, he was always checking on us and providing excellent service. He truly is so great at what he does. We had a sit down lunch in their cottage room which was so nicely decorated. the space was perfect. We felt like we were in our own restaurant. It was cozy but spacious and they were so accommodating with how we wanted it set up. We were able to bring balloons and decorations and the staff even helped us set up. They had a curtain up in the doorway so we were able to really surprise the guest of honor. Our lunch was delicious. We chose to do the seated option with 3 shareable apps and we picked a menu of 4 main meals from their party menu. Most of us ordered the shepherds pie and it was some of the best we had ever had. The presentation was cute. It came in a skillet which was served on a board with Irish soda bread. It was so delicious. The show stopper was the shareable Irish egg rolls. We couldn’t stop talking about them. The drinks were really good and the bar staff was really attentive to the party. The kids ordered from the long kids menu and they really enjoyed theirs as well. The pricing was very reasonable and worth every penny. We were able to bring our own cake and they cut it up and served it for us which was so nice. I can’t thank them enough for how special they made this experience. Everyone in our party had such an amazing time. The staff here are incredible. I would absolutely consider them for your next party.“

“With all the competition Johnny's faces in Mahwah, Ramsey, Allendale, and Suffern they have clearly shown from opening day to the present why they are the top choice. Every aspect of a business a customer would want they excel (product, cleanliness, customer service, and menu options). Besides a superlative slice of pizza their Sicilian is larger than others without being burnt on top (commonly found elsewhere), and their version of the Deep Dish slice is tremendous. If you want to dine in, take out, or not leave the comfort of your home and have the food delivered, they are the Must Go To spot in the area.“

“We had a great dinner tonight at Happy Vegans. We were greeted warmly and offered a taste of their special dish kofta, which is a delicious mix of spices, tomato and bulgur. I had the happy vegan burger which was huge with three patties made from kofka, lettuce tomatoes and a large serving of fries. We were given mayonnaise and ketchup to dip the fries in.
