“This was my first time eating from here and the food was fantastic. I would have given this place 5 stars, however they really need to update their menu online. In the picture below I ordered the teriyaki, chicken, and shrimp with rice. They gave me some vegetables on the side which was sautéed very well.“

“Had dinner there for the second time on Saturday night! It was very memorable. The food was absolutely fantastic. I had the eggplant with the Barata for an appetizer. It was so delicious and so tasty and my main course was the homemade linguine with lump crab and corn. We also got the meatball which was spectacular and then I got the cheesecake dessert which was one of the best cheesecakes I’ve ever eaten. I absolutely love love love this place. Can’t wait to go back and eat there again.“

“On a lark, we decided to try Luna Stella for dinner earlier this week. We caught it out of the corner of our eyes as it is tucked away slightly off the Main Street of Maplewood, but boy are we glad we found it! We happened to catch them on a live music night so we decided to sit at a bar table and while the dining room was nearly empty, the bar was full. Our waiter was attentive even with a full plate of tables and the owner came over to us several times to see how we were doing. Our drinks were very good, but the food was amazing! The chicken was pounded so thin for the Milenese and fried perfectly. The short rib pappardelle had a deep unctuous beef flavor but was not heavy at all. The pasta was cooked perfectly! We will definitely be going back!“

“Took my girlfriend here the atmosphere was very welcoming and scenic, we both ordered the filet mignon and it came out delicious perfectly cooked the way I asked, also ordered their guacamole which was absolutely the best I've ever had they have their own original take on it. “We stumbled across Nico because we were staying nearby and looking for something within walking distance that had reservations available immediately as we were headed to an event at the Prudential Center. I am so happy we did. The food was excellent. Since we were in a little bit of a rush, we ordered a lot to share. The buttermilk biscuits with sweet butter were amazing. The Ceasar salad was really good. And everyone really enjoyed the Steak Frites. Our server Bridgette (sp?) was really wonderful as well. We also got to take advantage of their great happy hour so added bonus.“

“Delicious food. Great service by Sydney! It started with amazing honey bread at the table. Flatbreads yum, especially the one with fig topping. Muscles, tuna tartare, noodle flush, brussel sprouts, calamari salad, and more! All yum! Would absolutely go there again. We had 8-10 people and the service was excellent.“

Great food greater service a little pricey for the breakfast buffet $40 per head but you get what you pay for ! Excellent experience , the entire hotel was awesome for our family of 7 trip !“

“My friends and I have season tickets at the Papermill and always go to the Carriage House for dinner before the show. It is a cozy little place and they do not rush you at all. It is so much better to sit and enjoy a cup of tea after dinner and not have to rush into the theatre. Giovanna has been our waitress many times and is so wonderful and makes you feel like you are the only diners she is waiting on. On this visit I had the parsip and chestnut soup, roasted chicken and coconut snowball. In past I have had the short ribs, pork chop as well as the duck and all have been fabulous. The chef takes pride in his food and always comes out to ensure everyone is happy. I can't wait until the next show and dinner.“

“Very nice wedding venue. Attended my cousin's wedding here and was very impressed with the food, especially during the cocktail hour. Staff was quick to remove plates when the next course was ready to be served and the bartender on our side of the room made the rounds to each table to see who wanted a refill on their beverage. Soups are great!, meals better, Thursday night Prime Rib night. Never a bad day to go except Mondays… and that’s because they are closed. Don’t forget a visit for St. Patrick’s Day!!!!“
