“This is a very small business, but let me tell you they have every type of bagel you could possibly think of! I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese bagel, and it was really good. Perfect spot if you’re craving a solid breakfast bite with great variety. Definitely worth checking out!“

“A Hoboken classic, the bagels are hard to beat on both sides of the Hudson. We've been long time fans of JP's and usually eat the bagel sandwiches, a classic bagel with cream cheese and the kids love the rainbow bagels. We order online ahead of time so we can run in and grab. We've never had an error in our order when ordering online.“

“I like their bagels but their prices for everything else are quite inflated. They charge almost forty dollars for a pound of whitefish salad. So I buy bagels there and food elsewhere.“

“The best bagels hands down! This has become our "go to" stop each time we pass through NY for bagels. Great customer service. We can call ahead and they have the order ready for our multiple (and large) family order with everything perfect! Super helpful and also help with bringing the many bags out to the car! So much appreciation! Thanks guys! Can't wait to see you again!“

“It was my first time there but certainly will not be my last. The cashiers knew we weren't from there but super super nice. I had THE BEST quiche I have EVER had. I joked that they sprinkled crack or something on it because I wanted to buy the WHOLE pie . It was beyond fluffy and delicious. It was mushroom, caramelized onion and cheese. I also has a side of bacon and home fries plus a hazelnut latte. It was less than $30 and beyond filling. I took 1/2 home because it was so much food. I didn't think to take a pic before I started eating, so no, that's not the whole quiche lol. Customer service was top tier and considering that NYC has a reputation for rude people (not true...mostly), this place makes you feel special!“

“Great house special bagels - everything bagel with lox, tomato, capers and scallion cream cheese. Iced coffee was good too, strong and not too sweet with flavorings. Staff was really welcoming and helpful on our first visit. Definitely check this place out if you’re looking for a good bagel. I’d go back without a doubt.“

“The best bagel I had in NYC. Soft and chewy toasted bagels, freshly sliced gravlax lox, scallion cream cheese with capers, onions and tomatoes. Is there anything more quintessential bagel-ly than that??
Take a ticket when you enter and listen closely for them to call your number. Even when there's a lot of people in the store, the line moves fast.“

“We stumbled across BtB on our way to LaGuardia completely by chance. Ben recognized our simplistic bacon egg and cheese orders and inquired about if we had heard about his specials. We hadn’t, but we promptly changed our orders and he changed our palates. Best food decision I’ve ever made. Great people, great story, great food. 🙌“

“I mean, the obvious 5 star review. Don't let them scare you off the belly - much saltier, true (don't add capers), but you can really taste the salmon for what it is that way. Lots of nice, decently priced gifts to take home, easy ordering system, they move relatively quickly. Chocolate babka is killer.“

“I finally checked out PopUp Bagels, and the hype is totally justified. You absolutely have to get here early—like, when they’re still pulling those hot, fresh bagels out of the oven and tossing them into the bin! Nothing beats that feeling (or smell!) to kick off a New York morning.
I grabbed the three-pack with scallion cream cheese. All the bagels were great, but the Salt Bagel was the runaway winner for me. That perfect salty crunch outside with the hot, chewy inside…Unbelievably delicious !
Grab your hot bagel and a cup of coffee and you are all set. It's the ideal start to any day in the city! 🥯☕️“

“My brother and I needed something quick to eat for a late breakfast, so this was right by us. Read the reviews here and I agree: Excellent food, decent prices and quality service. Kept it simple with a sausage, egg and cheese on an everything bagel. Coffee was good too!
There’s not a whole lot of dining room space, so you’ll either have to take it to go or get lucky to find an empty table.“

“One of the best bagel sandwiches in the city! Sooo many choices so I asked the lady at the counter what her favorite thing on the menu was and she definitely steered me in the right direction. I ended up ordering the Cubano grilled cheese and got an onion bagel instead of bread. The cheese pull…. Flawless. Highly recommend!!“

“I always get great service in this place. The food is fantastic (especially for the price). Their salads are made fresh on the spot... they cut everything fresh as they need em... they don't store the lettuce pre cut in tubs like most restaurants do. This is just an example of what sets Ben's apart from most places. Now, yes, I know they pride themselves for their bagels, but truth be told, I don't eat bagels... but my wife LOVES their bagels. -Boots“

“Great choice for specialty bagel
As someone born and raised in New York, I’m always on the hunt for a solid bagel spot and Curley’s Bagels caught my attention. It’s a grab and go place, but the inside is surprisingly beautiful and thoughtfully designed. Definitely more elevated than your average bagel shop.
When I walked in, I was impressed by the variety. They had tons of specialty bagels, options with avocado and eggs, and even gluten-free bagels, which is a great choice for anyone with dietary needs. I was tempted to try something creative, but I decided to stick with a classic: a sesame bagel with scallion cream cheese “my personal favorite”. Lol
The woman at the counter was super kind and helpful, and the overall vibe from the staff was warm and welcoming. Even though it was busy, my bagel was made quickly. I also grabbed a coffee, which had a nice bold, dark roast flavor. They offered oat milk, almond milk, and half and half something for everyone.
Biting into the bagel, it was everything I wanted: crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and packed with generously spread scallion cream cheese full of flavor and fresh herbs. Honestly, it felt more like a luxury bagel experience than your typical deli stop.
I spent about $9 for a bagel and coffee, which is a bit on the higher side, but the quality made it worth it. Plus, it was within walking distance from my doctor’s office, so it felt like a great find in the neighborhood.
If you’re nearby and want a quick, delicious bite with great service and thoughtful options, I definitely recommend checking out Curley’s Bagels. Enjoy“

“If you're craving a real bagel — the kind that’s crisp on the outside, perfectly chewy on the inside, and generously packed with flavor — B & B Bagels delivers in every way. But what truly sets this place apart isn't just the incredible bagels (though they are some of the best you’ll find); it’s the entire experience.
From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with the warm, welcoming aroma of fresh-baked bread and a friendly smile from the staff behind the counter. The team at B & B is attentive, efficient, and genuinely passionate about what they do. Whether you're grabbing breakfast on the go or sitting down for a relaxed bite, the service is consistently top-notch. I highly recommend this place!“

“I moved out of the area, but I’ve been hyped for this new bagel spot, and today I finally got to check it out. The place was packed, with almost a line out the door, but I hung in there. Totally worth it—the bagel did not disappoint! I went with my usual (toasted everything bagel with scallion cream cheese, bacon, tomato, and cucumber), and it was perfect. Even with everyone waiting, the vibe stayed chill, the bagels are baked fresh right there, and they crank them out as fast as you order. The spot has a super cool atmosphere, and I'll definitely be back whenever I can. About time downtown got itself a legit bagel joint.“

“Apollo’s Lox Bagels are incredibly delicious and definitely among the best bagels in NYC. The hype is truly justified.
The bagel rolls are delicately toasted, and the salmon and cream cheese combination is perfect. A real treat!
Luckily, the shop in the East Village isn't as crowded as the location north of Washington Square Park. We didn't even have to wait 10 minutes on a Friday at 3 p.m., which is practically a world record in NYC. The team is quick and appropriately friendly.
Since there's hardly any seating, it's best to take your bagels to go and eat them in the chilled Tomkins Square Park.
Highly recommended!“

“I’m leaving a five star review because the food was delicious and the service was courteous;
they forgot an everything bagel off my order, which really bummed me out, and nonetheless the people who answered the phone made me feel heard and helped me get a refund for it.

“Classic neighborhood staple. Been having the ham and egg since I was a kid. The two man team behind the counter can make you a sandwich in about 2-3 mins so if you’re running late for the F train you can still get a solid (and cheap) breakfast. The ice coffee is pretty good for deli coffee as well (ask for 1/2 sugar with vanilla!)“

“Every neighborhood in this partisan city has its best place that makes bagels fresh all day and serves them with cream cheese, lox, or whitefish. This is that place for Greenwich Village. The bagel has gorgeous texture and there’s always something hot—straight out of the oven. This isn’t just round bread, this is a proper NYC bagel. Live dangerously: Get the pumpernickel.“

“One of the best bagel spots in Manhattan. Leon’s Bagel nails the classic New York bagel experience — fresh, flavorful, and just the right amount of chewy. Their Classic Lox Sandwich is a must-try.
There’s no indoor seating, but they do have a few limited outdoor spots. If the weather’s nice, I recommend grabbing your bagel and coffee to go and heading over to Washington Square Park — it’s just a short walk away.
They also sell some great merch, though I do wish their house blend coffee beans were available for purchase — the coffee is that good.
Definitely worth a visit, even if it means taking a small detour. A real gem in the heart of Manhattan.“

“Oh my goodness, maybe hard to believe, but I've struggled to find a fantastic bagel lox in Park Slope. But no longer! Bagel House made me the most delicious and perfect bagel lox with all the right fixins. It's called the Lox Spectacular and that's exactly what it is. The service was wonderful as well. It's true, people remember how you made them feel. Bagel House made me feel like coming back. The atmosphere is nice for a quiet time to yourself or hanging out with some friends. The rest of the menu looked amazing, with a slew of smoothies, griddle platters, and many different types of omelettes, sandwiches and bagels. Way to go Bagel House!“

“Clean, efficient bagel shop with many choices of bagels, sandwiches, spreads, desserts and coffees. My wife had the lunch special wrap while I had a salt bagel with low fat cream cheese, turkey and tomato. Both were excellent. The bagel was not hard, nor too chewy. Just right.“
“I recently placed a breakfast catering order (delivery) from Utopia Bagels for 18 people, and I couldn’t have been more impressed. At first, I was a bit skeptical that their relatively low prices might mean smaller portions—but I was pleasantly surprised. The order arrived right on time, beautifully presented, and there was more than enough food for everyone. In fact, we even had leftovers!
Most importantly, everything was absolutely delicious—the bagels were fresh, and all the food received rave reviews from our guests.
In short, Utopia Bagels truly delivers on every front: exceptional service, generous portions, and outstanding flavor. I’ll definitely be ordering from them again!“
