“Shoutout to Marcela! I am a former 25+ year Hoboken resident and I’m not in town as often, but it happened to be cheat day, I was in the area, and made my way to Sweet. I got there at closing time, and saw Marcela lock the doors. I saw her come out the side door and I asked from my car if she’d be willing to take one more customer. Marcela did not hesitate, she told me to come back around, she’ll take care of me and she did. I went from bummed out to cheesing with joy. Thanks Marcela!“

“We had a lovely time at Cold Stone! The ice cream was very good — rich, creamy, and full of flavor. Our little ones especially enjoyed the fun mix-ins and colorful sprinkles. The “Signature Creations” menu offered a great variety to choose from — something for everyone.

The staff was friendly and patient, even with our big group. Seating was comfortable enough for a family night out, though the store could use a little more space during busy times.

Overall, a sweet treat for the whole family! We’ll definitely be back for more.“

“Eating the apple turnover inspired me to write this review - I've been here many times and nothing has disappointed me. Everything tastes super fresh, flavorful - even down to the chocolate in the chocolate croissant (it's like...not standard dark chocolate. I dont know what it is but its great and I enjoy it). Kinda expensive but worth it if you're ever in the area.“

“What a lovely bakery! I had one of the oat bars, the chocolate babka, and the hibiscus tea and each item was absolute perfection. As a habitual tea drinker, I could tell the leaves used were high quality and the taste was complex and tangy. The oat bar was the perfect mix of tart and sweet. And the BABKA…to die for—chocolately, pillowy dough, rich…who can ask for more? Also the woman who took my order was so kind and helpful! Wonderful spot with great service!! Editing to add: my roommate says the chocolate babka is better than breads bakery (who is famous for theirs) and I agree!!!!“

“I visited Yummy Tummy bakery for the first time today, with five other friends of mine to support a Black-owned business during Black History Month. The owner Melissa and Kaylan made the entire experience a delight. The two of them made sure we got all of our treats in a timely manner and treated us with such care. You taste the quality of the ingredients and the love they put while cooking them. The fact that Carrie was answering me while the business is close is a sign that she’s passionate and that she care about her client. They’re on the expensive side compared to other bakery, but once you compare you understand why… You taste the butter in everything! “Bread is always soooo yummy and flavorful! Favorite bread is the white concha and one that looks like a croissant but taste like hojaldra orangey flavor I loveeeee. Also the rosca the best ever. They’re not stingy with the sweet sugary part of the rosca there’s enough for all for the amount they add. The place is semi empty perfect for taking ur time in choosing ur bread. Oh and the peach 3leches slices are good.“

“Honestly one of the only bake shops I truly like here on Staten Island. The items have always been fresh (other bake shops sold me day old items and it shows in the taste), taste amazing, aroma delicious! I also ordered two occasion cakes and both times they were excellent!“

“I keep going back to this bakery ever since I tried their prosciutto baguette - if you’re lucky to get your hands on one, you’ll likely eat it all in one sitting, so I always recommend getting 2. Their sourdough is also very affordable under $8 and they slice it for you.
