Cannot speak highly enough about the Sweet team - unlike other vendors they did not try to upcharge us for a wedding cake, talked through the pros and cons of various choices, and their delivery to our venue was seamless. “We had a lovely time at Cold Stone! The ice cream was very good — rich, creamy, and full of flavor. Our little ones especially enjoyed the fun mix-ins and colorful sprinkles. The “Signature Creations” menu offered a great variety to choose from — something for everyone.

The staff was friendly and patient, even with our big group. Seating was comfortable enough for a family night out, though the store could use a little more space during busy times.

“Marie is the absolute best. I asked her to make a cake for my birthday and my guests and myself have been talking about it ever since! I called Marie to tell her my vision and she helped me through it and made it even better, she's so kind and so open to collaborating. And not only that the flavor was INSANELY DELICIOUS. I am normally not a big cake person but it was the perfect balance of moist and creamy, the way I told her how I wanted it to be. I asked for vanilla frosting with chocolate inside, and a layer of praline cream. Highly recommend ordering from Marie for any occasion. I definitely will be doing that again soon.“

“I need to say that Renee and Carrie are amazing! Very amazing service, being able to be answered in French at the boutique was amazing! I drove twice in 2 days to grab cupcakes and cookies… I cannot say what’s my favourite out of the cupcake, the brownies, the cookies etc because everything was decadent and not too sweet. You taste the quality of the ingredients and the love they put while cooking them. The fact that Carrie was answering me while the business is close is a sign that she’s passionate and that she care about her client. They’re on the expensive side compared to other bakery, but once you compare you understand why… You taste the butter in everything! If you like some fluffy, moist, creamy cupcake this is your place… While planning my wedding, I’ve compared a few bakery and non are as good as this one… Thank you for the amazing experience and taste!“

I would recommend for the baker to put the cake in the fridge before delivering as it came a little melted. The frosting on cupcakes slid off but either way the children didn’t care so I will still give it 5 stars.“

“Don’t be fooled by the smallness of the place. The breakfast sandwiches are some of the tastiest I’ve ever had. I was looking to order a cake for a birthday, and I was impressed by their photos on Instagram as well as the flavor of the slices they had for sale (one of which I received as a gift). “I’ve been going to Nury for traditional Dominican cake for some years now and the cake is ALWAYS fresh and delicious, whether you buy it by the slice or a whole cake. I’ve only recently, however, asked for specific designs and she always warns me that the suspiro doesn’t behave the same as buttercream so the design might not come out the way I’d like, but it always turns out amazing! I’ve tried a few different places nearby but Nury’s is always top tier.“

“What a neighborhood gem!! Walked in on a Sunday morning and had a delightful conversation with Chef Daniel. Ordered a delicious egg sandwich on a flaky, buttery, sinfully good biscuit, plus a few other items including the dark chocolate vegan sorbet, a chocolate chip cookie and blueberry citrus donut. Do not sleep on the seasonal donuts ... the blueberry was incredible! And do not let the vegan in the sorbet fool you - as a chocolate lover, it was rich, decadent, everything you want and more.

I've lived in the neighborhood for a decade and didn't realize Sugar Butter Chocolate offered retail service. I wish I had known a lot sooner because everything was so, so good. “Simply magical! Hands down the best of Chinese pastries.
Pretty much everything worths trying, savory and sweet stuff! Especially the salted egg yolk bolo bun! Even the cha siu bun which I normally hate is good, many other places do it greasy and overly sweet, this place’s is great and you won’t taste any off putting pork taste. We thought we bought enough for breakfast tomorrow but basically finished everything after we got home.
They have limited seasonal stuff so make sure to check it out. Sometimes they close earlier than it’s listed here and many times the popular items are sold out way before they close. So make sure to get there before they’re gone.
Atmosphere wise, I mean it’s traditional Chinese place so don’t expect something Instagram selfies worthy but it definitely feels authentic.
The auntie working at the cashier is so welcoming, helpful, and attentive. Feels just like back home in China and nostalgic as I grew up eating these delicious pastries.“

“Bread is always soooo yummy and flavorful! Favorite bread is the white concha and one that looks like a croissant but taste like hojaldra orangey flavor I loveeeee. Also the rosca the best ever. They’re not stingy with the sweet sugary part of the rosca there’s enough for all for the amount they add. The place is semi empty perfect for taking ur time in choosing ur bread. Oh and the peach 3leches slices are good.“
