“When it comes to Nomad I always seem to be the last juror to come around to the group consensus. Basically, they'll put anything on a pizza you can dream of, call themselves artisans and wait for the applause. I'm sorry but Kale is barely a vegetable and is not a legitimate topping. Otherwise, the pizza is fine if you're into doughy crust at a premium price. Four stars for the outstanding service and not being their Princeton location which is a madhouse.“

“I consider myself a pizza connoisseur- I have had pizza from all the "best pizza" spots across NJ: Santillo's in Elizabeth, Talula's in Asbury Park, Porta (Jersey City and Asbury), Brooklyn Square (the upside down pie in both Toms River and Jackson locations), Sciortino's in South Amboy, Pete and Elda's, Federici's in Freehold Boro, Crust and Crumble (Asbury park), Arturo's/Artie's in Maplewood, Razza in Jersey City, Rosie's in Point Pleasant (my second all time favorite. Their square pie, wow). But.. after all of that, Antimo's makes my favorite pie, by far, the Brooklyn style Grandma. It is my #1 and I can't believe it's still a hidden gem. I order this pizza almost weekly.. The bread. The crust doused in olive oil, The sauce, the chunky tomatoes, the Buffalo mozzarella, the fresh grated parm on top. Wow. Wow. Wow. So much flavor. It is literally my perfect pizza and I could eat it everyday. How lucky am I that I happen to live within 5 minutes of Antimo's?...The pizza gods blessed me. I've also had their Detroit style pizza too which is phenomenal, their vodka sauce (I love), the staff/owners, everyone is so lovely. Try the brooklyn style grandma, you will not be disappointed!!“

“This place is a hidden gem . We were there the other night with 5 people and everyone loved the food they ordered. We have been there a couple of times since it changed ownership and it’s great. It seems to be empty except on the weekends and I have no idea why. Maybe because it’s a few miles out of town. It’s more than worth the drive in my opinion !“

“My husband and I came for our 5th anniversary and had the best service and the meal was better than we could have imagined!!! We had Ellie as a server and Mike as a bartender, and it was the best experience we’ve had at restaurant since before Covid. The Stella pizza and octopus appetizers were recommended by the staff and they did not steer us wrong! The drinks were well made and the ambience was perfect!“

“I'm a big fan of Joe's Pizza. I've had their pizza on a few occasions and have never been disappointed. The staff is very friendly and the service is always quick. The plain pizza and the penne vodka pizza are two of my favorites. The penne vodka pizza is fully loaded with excellent vodka sauce, a crisp base, and crunchy-crisp crust. The plain is fantastic and features a salty, buttery cheese and an amazing sauce. Joe's is definitely one of my go-to's in the Flemington area.“

“I read about this place after booking a room at a nearby hotel. Wife and I went for early dinner and got a large pie. It was as amazing as the reviews. I ate 5 slices wife ate almost 3. The combo of crust, sauce, and cheese was just about perfect.“

“Rustic, local, no frills pizza joint with a bar and two rooms for seating. Service was excellent. Eight people for dinner and our server was right on. He made it very pleasant. Our food was plentiful and delicious. Stand out was the buffalo chicken salad. Bar tender makes a great long island iced tea. This pizza restaurant is reliable good place if in the area. It is a busy place with lots of take out and they handle it all with fast and friendly service.“

“Fantastic pizza, I think the best I've ever had anywhere! I took my visitors from Europe here today and they thought so as well. My favorite is the Tartufo, I get it every time I come; we had the Classico and it was great as well. I always have trouble eating a whole pizza, but two for three people is just about right.“

“I was craving Italian pasta, so I did some research for good Italian that isn’t ridiculously expensive. This is what I landed with. I was very happy. Reasonable prices and likely the BEST rigatoni vodka pasta my husband and I have ever had. The sauce was perfect (not too salty or sweet and a perfect balance of cheese and tomato flavor). I added chicken, and it came with a lot. The soup and bread that it came with were fresh, warm, and delicious too. Definitely would come back!! The workers were also nice. Great place“

Amazingly tender chicken and the sauce was exquisite! Atmosphere was OK but bathroom was neglected and needs a lot of work cosmetically.“

“I usually don’t post reviews but this was necessary. I just left and I had a great experience there, the restaurant is clean, the staff is nice and the food is great. Also, times are hard for most people and the fact that I noticed they were also going through something (emotionally/sad) for unknown reasons and still gave great customer service is top tier. I will be going back and I pray that they find comfort in whatever they’re going through. They also make sure to take care of each other which is also heartwarming. Please go support if you can.“

“Lobster Ravioli with Scallops in Vodka Sauce was delicious! Scallops were cooked to perfection. Sauce wasn't too salty. I didn't see much lobster in the ravioli, but they were so good. Parpadelle bolognese with ricotta also perfect. Took some home for the next day but a family member scooped it up for lunch ?. Definitely going back.“

“I've been going to this restaurant for over 5 or 6 years. The atmosphere has definitely gotten better, but thier service in the restaurant isn't great. I visited last week 1/29/24. There were four of us with no one but another couple in the restaurant. We saw the waitress 2 times. Too busy talking and hanging with management . Large bar, the tables were high end with the ambiance very welcoming, over all a gorgeous place! I chose this place because it had beautiful outdoor seating. (But unfortunately it was a little cool to eat outside). So to start off, we had an awesome waiter named Michael. We started off by ordering two French Martini’s. (Vanilla vodka, Chambord, pineapple juice)OMG they were DELICIOUS!!!!! Then Michael gave us some bread, classic hard crust Italian bread with the most delicious dipping oil. We ordered the Spinach Artichoke Dip for starters which was DELICIOUS!! and also the Agrodolce Calamari which was not a hit with me, A little too chewy. So soup comes with the meal and we ordered Potato soup, very good and I got the Italian Wedding Soup, delicious!! Nice fresh chicken broth with Mirepoix and mini meatballs. So Goooood! Our main entrees were Pear & Prosciutto Salad, fresh & tasty. The chicken on top could have had a little more seasoning. But overall delicious. My other sister ordered Chicken Tartufo. That was good as well. I ordered the Pan Roasted Salmon, cooked to perfection, crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, creamy mashed Yukon Gold potatoes, and the spinach was Soooo delicious!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was very impressed with Amalfi’s and the prices were very reasonable. . I recommend this restaurant, it’s worth every penny.Great job to the chef’s!!“

Yet, the chain pizza joints who have captive audiences in flyover country continue to inexplicably thrive and prosper within the east coast pizzaria mecca. Inconceivable. That said, Marco's ain't bad. No, it's not quite up to the bespoke goodness of a foldable Neapolitan but it had taste and was downright lavish with the pepperoni. Not only was I surprised but more than a little impressed. So, if your goal is to procure a Eucharist wafer slathered in pizza chain indifference there's always Dominos. However, if you want a real pizza and the Giuseppe Brothers aren't available you could do far worse than Marco's. A surprising four stars in Jersey. Five stars in Iowa.“

“Lovely spot under a house. They’ve been making pizzas there for 48 years! The founders son made our pizza and was funny and sweet to us. The pizza was delicious- thin crust, sweet sauce, seasoned right, creamy mozzarella, and basil from their garden.“
