“This is a great place to take my 3 year old granddaughter out to breakfast. She's a picky eater but loves the kids' chicken and waffles meal and the chocolate milk. It's a happy place.Wheelchair accessibility: Easily accessible for wheelchairs and walkers“
“We were just as surprised as were impressed with the quality of our meals, coffee flights, and service. We recommend everyone come here and you will be back bringing your friends and family. Absolutely recommend asking specifically for Diane she was a treat and made the great experience even better. We are full but already looking forward to our next visit.“
“Aside from their delicious food, I was having the worst morning and the person behind the counter saw it and she was so kind and pumped me up and made sure I shook off my bad morning before I left she turned my whole day around. Made me a patron for life <3“
“Very good breakfast. Hit the spot. Went around 10:30 place was full but was able to get a seat pretty quickly. I had a belly buster omelet and my mother had eggs over easy with a ham steak. We both had coffee. Hers was nice mine was hot. Our bill was roughly 10 dollars cheaper than most of the breakfast places we go to, only catch is CASH ONLY - but super worth it.“
“Very nice inside. It is a bit hard to see for first-timers. There is no signage from the road. The staff was very pleasant. The service I experienced was slow. There was plenty of tv and music playing to feel entertained. Over all very nice place.“
“I know a good bagel from years of working in Manhattan and the bagels here are as good as any I had in the City and adjacent boroughs. Fresh out of their ovens @ 6 AM you'll never get a better one unless you hit "Hot Bagels" in Oakhurst or the bagels from a place in Red Bank--sorry can't remember the name.“
“I'm finally back to write a review and Google is acting up. The service is wonderful and friendly. We had a little wait that gave us time to shop at HomeGoods and a homemade laundry detergent store. The variety of French toast is amazing.... you can also get the same toppings on pancake's .I highly recommend any of the coffee drinks. My daughter and I shared the loaded potato's with cheesy yumminess! They came cold at first, for some reason I think the kitchen is far from the dinning area. They have a little coffee bar area that's adorable if you're just catching up with a friend for a quick drink (non alcohol) I would definitely recommend this place. We really had a good breakfast -dessert and I had a chance to spend time with my kids while on break.“
“A great place to enjoy breakfast.Very easy going staff and establishment that is clean and well presented.I’d love to tell you that they make this “one thing” better than the rest… but they don’t. It’s all really good and fresh.Regular specials that have their Japanese Pancakes on rotation in different ways. Absolutely to die for.“
“At Colonial Coffee Shop, breakfast is a hearty affair. The classic omelette is fluffy and well-stuffed with vibrant green peas, offering a simple yet satisfying taste. Accompanied by golden-brown home fries, with a crispy exterior and tender inside, and toast that's just begging for a smear of butter, it’s a textbook American breakfast. For those with a sweet tooth, the coffee shop serves up playful treats—a decadent iced coffee topped with whipped cream, caramel drizzle, and a cheerful peep, and a refreshing lemonade with plump strawberries floating amongst ice cubes. Each sip of the whimsical iced coffee or the berry-infused lemonade seems to pause time, allowing for a moment of indulgence in the day’s start. Whether you're there for the familiar comfort of an omelette or the sweet surprise of a dessert-like drink, Colonial Coffee Shop knows how to start the day right.“
